Race of Champions - 2011

He's managed to damage both the KTM and the stock car - and then damage the stock car further doing a show-off donut...
Its pretty embarrassing..
Most drivers are world champions in what they do, or at the very least series champions and then you have Degan and Pastrana who are what?

Yes again, epic on freestyle dirt bikes but in the company of Touring car, world rally champions and F1 drivers???

Surly they should have been better to find some Indy / Nascar guys?

Wouldn't work. The track has right turns. [/racist joke]

What was Jenson's error there? He lost that race to Schumacher by quite a lot.

I think I'm enjoying the rally cars the most... Fantastic little machines... Even got some two-wheeling action a few rounds back.

Vettel loses a round...?

Boo, hometown advantage. They should have a pair of HRTs in the mix, too... or dirt bikes... Come on, throw America a bone.

I wonder if Tony Stewart would have helped America possibly win. Its never a good sign if you can't identify BOTH drivers from your home country.

I know Pastrami has rally experience, but he's not the best there is.

Great come from behind by Schumacher. Gave Vettel a head start, but still took the race. Dick Dastardly still has it!

Ogier through to finals... No surprise.

Fantastic semi between Kristensen and Schumacher... Now all that's left is to give Ogier the trophy...

That was a fairly dominant performance... How many times has a rally driver won this, again? Shame Tom couldn't make it more exciting.

Rally drivers are some kick-ass drivers for sure. But why the surprise, they have to drive on all sorts of grounds.

Wait, that's it? The ROC is done? I just came midway through Ogier beating Kristensen!

I still have to be proven that Americans can drive.

There are Americans who can... but they ain't driving here. Pastrana is a relatively experienced rally driver and has won a number of US based events, so he's a good bet in this kind of race... But Pastrana hasn't enjoyed great success in WRC... in fact, his WRC results kinda sucked.

He never technically competed in WRC. Only P-WRC. [/nitpicking]

Congrats to Ogier though, was also nice to see sportscar racing represented in the final - shame TK couldn't have won it!

Well done to Ogier for winning it on his first appearance. He impressed me on the first day and me and my brother predicted who might win. I said him, but was sort of surprised he managed to win it when it counts all the way to the final considering it was his first appearance. It was also the manner as he was doing super fast times consistently too.

Foust/Block 2012! Lets hope so....

You'd be selling America short if that was the team. They're good at what they do, but there are far better drivers out there who could represent America.

There always has been. It would keep with the current trend, but be a little bit better...

Well the current trend isn't really producing results. Instead of putting out some X Games stars, maybe a team comprising of actual talent would do some good.
