[RACE] Weekend Fun Runs - Thnks fr th mmrsFinished

TG will probably be redone. Good idea but servers didn't like us. Infection was really fun, and will likely stick around, as will multiclass and the SRTs. Overall a good weekend. The etiquette is somewhat improved, but people are getting goofy (myself as guilty as anyone) on each other.

...Sorry to double post, but does anybody want to join this lobby I'm creating? Won't be doing anything overly serious, just some quick races to pass the time.

My tin foil bowl internet isn't cooperating with me today.

Plus I'm busy looking into Project Cars

Still up? Have some homework to do, got back from work.

I'm planning on doing a Super GT type event in Fun Runs soon. Race will be non tune and will feature a car for GT500 and a car for GT300. Clean racing will be encouraged. So if you're interested, let me know.

Sounds more like a Mini VRR

The way the Super GT event will work. @Smurfybug actually got something right, it will be a bit of a VRR test. A lot of people here either like multi-class or already race in it. Super GT cars are among the easiest race cars to drive. Several Fun Runs drivers also race in VRR so the common sense idea would be to just hold a no strings attached race to see how the Fun Runs group would react to VRR racing standards compared to a regular VRR event.

PM me your plans ^.^

Full details regarding "VRR Meets Fun Runs" will be released here and on VRR's thread tonight. Once that's been published, entries will be accepted.

OK it sounded like it would be today, that does clear things up. And with the infection I say we open up car choice to make things interesting

Can they be be JGTC-era cars, so the specs match up? It'd add some realism and be a nice change from the weird PD imaginary spec stuff.

Maybe we'll do something like that after we do this one. I want to make sure that this is going to actually work first before we start stepping through the older stuff.
