The Definitive Fun Runs Tomahawk/Tomahawk Racing One Thing/Not Even Going There FAQ Section!

What is the racing version like?

It's infinitely more usable than the stupid thing.

What's the stupid thing like?

It's the equivalent of literally exploding.

Is Route X the only suitable place for the stupid thing?
The opposite. At a certain speed, everyone lag grenades a-la Black Hole. Not quite gr8racrs level, but close.

Why does this happen?
Well, it goes something like this:

PD had to rewrite GT6's physics engine limitations to make the car work (I have an interesting theory as to how they were set, please ask if you want to hear it). Since it's beyond the game's original coding parameters, it's quite safe to assume that the servers were not tested to such parameters, and as such, it has some slight quirks. Very slight.

Does the active aero deplete the battery reserve?
Yes and no. The hydraulics system that operates the low drag mode operates off the ERS, but the ERS is also used in regular motion to make it 4WD, meaning it depletes no matter what.

How does the active aero work on the little ****?
Essentially, there are 3 modes - The mid-downforce level is the one it's in most of the time. When you turn, or move the steering, it then has a mild panic attack and shoots some more bits out of itself. It does a similar thing when you brake, too. If you have a very long straight, just feel suicidal, or are mildly inebriated and just want some great banter, hit R1. That makes it very not fun at all.

Why does the Tomagit man have a silly suit?
The suit is a kind of exo-skeleton for spinal support, forced to be worn forever after the sheer amount of debilitating compression fractures he suffered after driving the thing for the first time.

Why does the git man have a tube on his silly suit?
The tube is installed to re-inflate the driver after he is crushed into a gritty pâté by the braking forces.

Why, can you somewhat replicate the team liveries of the 2015 FIA Formula One World Championship?
The answer to that incredibly pointless, tedious and boring question is yes, yes you can! Mercedes can be replicated with the silver and green livery, Williams can be replicated with the all white livery, Ferrari can be replicated with the red livery, Red Bull's test livery can be replicated with the carbon test car, Toro Rosso can be replicated with the blue livery, Force India can be taken care of with the silver and orange colour livery, McLaren can be nicely recreated with the grey and red livery, and Manor can be replicated with the white and red livery option.

Does the novelty wear off after 10 minutes and render the driving experience quite average?
Of course it does.

It gets worse, top speed in draft for the X is over 660km/h from what I've read in the Tomahawk thread.

Try 691 km/h, because that's what I managed to get while driving the car against A.I.-controlled rivals in an Arcade race... I bet if you are crazy enough, you could even touch the 700 mark.

The S and the GTS-R are better for online racing, simply because they don't break the already unstable PD servers in half over their knees. It's as simple as that, really.
