1:23.287 for 8'th atm with DS3. My settings are @GT_Rajman's from last TT, tuned down for the occasion:

SUSPENSION:
65 60
11.10 15.10
5 5
6 6
6 6
0.0 0.0
0.06 -0.07
BB: 4 8

TRANSMISSION:
Set top speed to 260km/h

LSD:
5 15 9

POWER:
50%

BALLAST: 81kg's at -45

-No oil change.

That's all; seems to work fine here; will do 1.22, even with this old guy on DS3. :)

I too am using @Rajman tune from the monza TT. But I have no ballast.

I just pulled a 1:23.238 for 6th place and I'm pretty damn stoked to be honest

Edit: whoops I'm lying, I have 83kg ballast

Edit again: I changed my settings to exactly Rowers settings and managed 1:22.987 4th place

From 1 old DS3 guy to another:lol:,

I'll give your tune a try and report back.

I didn't fancy using the 2J at first and did it in a Ferrari 250GTO but only just golded it at 540pp haha.

Why can't PD sort the TT selection out each time??, I mean they've had a couple of years practice now to get the hang of it!!:lol:

Don't like the fact that from just looking at the PP/category settings each time, you can just about guess what car is gonna be dominant.

Sort it out PD.:ill:

The 2j will win or gold any racing car ( and any "any car" ) seasonal from 550pp to 725pp, doesn't mean you have to use it.

Also means don't brag about how easy it is, that is a given.

Same goes for GSX in the 500pp category.

You know guys nobody is forcing you to use the same cars all the time, and if you are interested in a high ranking, try it in the 2J then try it in a more challenging car.

I had a blast with this in the Delta S4, no tuning, just an oil change which took it to 551PP then ticked it down to 550 (I rarely downtune cars but made an exception here)...that group B beast dances on this track, posted 1:33.something for a top 5000 time, good enough for me but it had a couple of seconds more in it at least :)

I first did this in my longest milage car; the Subaru Imp GT300 base model (1:30.7) and yes; it was quite fun. But as @DTM was on about; this is quite few pp's for RH, so you're gonna need the fastest car to keep up the exitement...

I did it with Alfa Romeo 155 2.5 V6 TI '93, on 1,34,362 . I used @Dirty_Duck tune, with some adjustment on the final gear.

And I'm sure I can beat that time, with a bit of practice....
I used the same car, just did a little weight reduction and left everything else stock. Fun car to drive on this track.

Gonna give my fto race car a go at the matterhorn one tomorrow. Wish me luck ;)

Three laps in the Toyota Yellowhat got me gold.
That's it for me, don't really like the track.
Tire choice was (for once) OK... 👍

I'll choose my words carefully this time so as not to inflame all the people who went mental last time... For the same reason stated as ODB.

It does get repetitive when the same cars get used week in, week out (GSX-R4, 2J) obviously these cars have a PP advantage over most cars but like the 2J not everyone owns it or wants to waste their Cr on it (fine if you win it). I prefer when PD determine what car you have to drive - it's a level playing field to some extent - apart from the aliens!
Hurrah! I'm not the only one then, although it probably has been uttered before - I'm not an avid forum browser, (4kids, full time job etc.), level playing field is the key to seasonal happiness I think, or maybe a set range of cars like Quick Match (with no tune options), if it wasn't for the Demolition Derby/Stock Car racing fraternity that seem to permanently inhabit the Quick Match races they be more enjoyable! Another alternative could be ruling out cars above a set upper PP level, ie: 550PP race with no cars above 600PP allowed, this stops people getting high powered cars to have an easier race, don't get me wrong - I also went and blew Cr 4.5million on a 2J because everyone uses it, but where is the sense in spending all that just to de-tune it to that extent?

A4 Touring Car. All assists off except a few clicks of traction control. Power reduced to suit pp limit. DS3, with auto gears.

A few laps to get used to the circuit. Small set up tweaks every other fifth lap to find a set up to suit my aggressive style, and cracked 1:33.384 on lap . . Something. There's close to a second to come out of that, as I made some fairly major cock ups at the hairpins, and the blind crest right.

I'm fairly happy with a world ranking of 4496th (at time of writing) in my first semi serious attempt at a seasonal TT though.

You can try the TS030.
Thanks for the answer but I guess I could "try" several different cars anyway. I was interested if there's some sort of actual knowledge of this matter. And yeah, I guess TS030 is quite popular it seems, but is it the next fastest on this PP? And yeah, I'm just asking out of curiosity...

i used the pikes peek S1 15th anniversary and it was very funny :) i like the car and also the track... but i dont like at all TT... i do them only once... if they would give money for every better lap time, i would spend more time with this TT. :)

Got 1:34 something with the R32 Calsonic GT-R. I never really liked this track, but with this R32 it felt very fun. The car felt good with this track to me. Won't bother with the 2J because I'm not near the top level anyway and it's getting boring using that . Anyway, I'll probably play it some more later since I'm sure I can go faster still.

@ODB .. It could possibly be the FTO Super Touring car as it is under a tonne/ton light, is relatively small and nippy with plenty of grip from the 4WD .. I'm at 1:30.5xx and there could be anything up to 2 seconds more for more to get with a good fast lap, possibly more in the hands of somebody with a touch more 'alien' finesse than me. 👍

For all those who are thinking like me and don't wanna buy a car for 4.5 million credits that look like a piece of ****. Here my Tune for the Opel Calibra Touring Car '94 the Tune should also work with the Vauxhall. I think 4WD is a good Idea on Matterhorn. I got Gold with that Tune and I'm a Pad Driver who is totally fine with only getting Gold...

Used the RS200 on this to get initial gold, and was a lot of fun, then tried the 2J just for a comparison. That thing is a beast. 3-4 seconds faster on my first lap, did a couple more and improved by 5 over the rs200's best time. Overall though I rate the rs200 more enjoyable to drive, just for the challenge. Have fun.
Yes, RS200 was quickest for me, better than Audi Quattro and VW Vision. Don't really like massive 100pp detuning so a mild tune upwards like the Ford seems more "right". Spending 1,400,000 credits to win 200,000 is a bit off but it's not real money.
