Rare car? Corvette C5-R '00

I came across this in the UCD tonight and in all of my playing I don't think I have ever seen it before. Price was a cool 2 Million, but I snatched it up anyway. The only mods you can do are +3 Engine and +2,+3 Turbo.

Its a GT classic, one of my all time favorites. Very fast GT1 class car.

Never actually seen it in the UCD yet, i've been looking. Raced it twice before in A-spec. Once in American Championship, and right now in the 24hr Nurburgring im doing.

If you like the way the C5-R drives, then you should definitely try the Oreca Viper. That car is also a blast, in my opinion even better than the C5-R.

Never realised how good the car was till recently.
I got it from a lucky ticket with no miles aswell.
Next thing you know I trade it for a CLK GTR with a stage 3 engine tune.
I got robbed lol.

Imo you shouldn't be able to boost the power of a full-on race car. Especially with turbo's on what is a classic NA car

It is hard to find in the UCD and usually does not show up until after day 1300. Was easier to find before the trading cap limits so it is a lot rarer now than before trading restrictions as you are depending on the UCD or a birthday / ticket 1000 to produce the car.

There is nothing unrealistic about boosting race car power. They're more than likely underpowered in "stock" form.

Why does everyone like the ZR1 RM? The Z06 is better by 100 lbs and it can range in hp from 550-650+, which is a more realistic number for a GT1. Unless you're racing with 700+ hp races against the slower prototype cars, the ZR1 RM is a useless car to me.

Totally different feeling cars and fully tuned the ZR1 RM destroys it. C5R is still one of my favorites as I have 1 tuned and 1 stock. Use the stock one frequently as on higher HP levels the ZR1 is king

Been looking for this car for a while and it finally showed up I was collecting all the vets and she was the last piece. Only seen it once in the ucd once and that's when I first started.

In my opinion, the Team Oreca Viper is better than the C5-R.

Nevertheless, it is a rare car, I've only seen it once in my UCD.

Don't think I've seen it in the UCD, unless it popped in shortly after I started playing (on Release Day).
Eight-hundred seventy-five total cars, it's the only Standard Chevy left for my collection - and I WANT IT!

The C5-R's apparently did pretty good though, of course I was only 5 back in 2000 so I can't recall them all that much.

I'm Level 31 and have been watching for this car for EONS in the UCD. Driving me insane.

Yes, it's not as good as the RM Z06 or RM ZR1, but I'm a huge Corvette fan and it is a classic. Need it to complete my Corvette collection!
