Had one of those aswell decided to sell it after awhile though.
It seems good at first but it isnt a good race car nor drift car.

I can tell it is lame, I bought it to trade to someone who is looking for all cars:sly:

I'd say Viper concept, Viper Oreca #91, NSX LM road car and Ford Falcon. I check the UCD every now and then, I never came across those cars.

Hahaha, maybe once your blessed with seeing it once they allow you to see it more often :sly:

So true...

Ok, I edited the question because it is obviously relative to each user which is the most rare car. Anyone have any concrete info on how the UCD works as far as how cars are generated? Perhaps there is a PD employee in here who may let us know something without revealing his/her identity...💡

I saw it, and skipped on it.

But thanks to GTPlanet, I KNOW which cars to snap up.

I almost did...then said "I need this for old time's sake"....:D

This was before I got involved with the UCD project...It showed up for me somewhere between day 1375 and 1475, but I wasn't keeping a diary then...:dunce:

I had 20 mil yesterday and went on a shopping spree in the UCD (bought like 20+ race cars ). Saw pretty much all "rare" car except the Dodge Viper #91, Subaru 22b. In my experience, a car is only "rare/hard to find" when you're looking and waiting for it. Save your money and power refresh the UCD and you'll get them.

there's a thread where people are building a spreadsheet of the UCD list. It's "random" but it's actually not. The game has a set list of cars that it goes through in order, although it is a very long list. When you create your game the PS3 uses a combination of your unique disk and machine to decide where in the list you start. You can create 1000 PSN accounts or new games on your machine and it'll always start with the same cars in the UCD and move through them in the same order.

Highly believable. I had to restart my game because I accidentally deleted. I kept the account and and also started a new account to replay the game, and both had the same cars in the UCD. That would be explained by the fact that both are starting from the same PS3.

G8Spectre: what is your source for this info?

Plymouth Roadrunner seems pretty rare, I've only seen it once in the beginning but was way out of my price range. Have yet to see it since :(

The most rare car from what i've seen on these forums is the red Audi R8 Le Mans car. The yellow one turns up in the UCD but the red one only seems available from random gift tickets. The same is true for the GTAcademy Nissans, but a lot of people in the marketplace on here seem to have one
