Rarest Cars in GT5?

Dear All
I was looking to know what are the rarest cars in GT5, I like collect rare cars and also host online races using them:dopey:
I already have :
1)Nomad Diablo GT1
and I believe these cars are also rare:
2) Bentley speed 8
3) Jaguar XJR-9LM
4) Sauber C9
5) Escudo Dirt trial
6) TVR speed 12
please help me with the information you have and how rare you encounter a car in UCD or OCD:)

I've been looking for an R8 LM Race Car for months now, racing one, checking dealerships, racing another, checking dealerships. I even go to the license tests and if you load one then hit next and the next one loads, a day passes. No R8 LM race car as of yet. I am on standby with 10mil waiting for that sucker.

You just have to cycle through the UCD by skipping days in the license test.

It's fairly easy to get the cars you are looking for. All the cars in the game appear like in 2000 days. Even "the rarest", appear 4-5 times during that cycle.

Go into any License test and load Test #1. When it finishes loading, skip to the next test and let it finish loading. Repeat until you skip Test #5 and you will have 30 brand new cars in the UCD. It loads 6 new cars for each license test skipped, as long as you let the next test fully load to the start screen before exiting. 👍
 
true I havnt ever clapped eyes on that jaguar or the bentley.

took ages for a 86 trueno to appear that I was dying to get, I havnt seen a lambo diablo yet either that i want
 
I must admit I haven't seen the Jag either or the Sauber.

I just new as soon as I posted in here that I would get one of these two today...Jag XJR-9 acquired.:)

I have all the cars in the op. Just been lucky enough to have enough credits when they appeared and I believe the Speed 8 I bought when they were in the ocd a little while ago. The car I'm after now is the 2J. I'm afraid to spend any credits because I don't want to have it show up and right before that I spent all my money lol.
 
GT academy Z / GT-R are (for me) the most difficult cars to get...

All the others dont.
 
The GT Academy GT-R is pretty easy to get, you just have to pass the last license tests with all golds which wasn't hard for me

to me neither, but the majority of gt players can not make all gold :)

I'm after the Z gtacademy version :S
 
There's really no such thing as a rare car.
I don't know where people get this idea.

I really think it just depends on what you're looking for and if you have the luck to see it in your UCD when you look... or if you're thorough & look in the UCD constantly to see the updated list.

You can also cheat the recycling by going into license test series you've already completed & hitting "next". Hit next & load 5 license tests you've already completed, and it will recycle your whole UCD. (note: you just have to load it, you don't have to actually drive the license test again)

And if it's a car that you don't find often... then the cloning trick can make any numbers of the same car over & over again. Thus, again, no rarity.

They are available in arcade mode via PSP import aren't they? Figured they would have featured in GT Life. The other dual models made it in

That only recycles 6 new "just in" selections into the UCD.
Even doing it 5 times, it won't give you more than 6.

Loading 5 license tests using next is the quickest way I've found that's works to recycle the entire UCD.
 
I remember some time ago some people were saying that the ford gt '02 didn't exist. I've seen it only twice for the whole time i've played the game. Luckily, I had enough money the first time I saw it:)

I hate that car. Saw it 3 times bought it twice. Tried to trade it on here and find out it's value is 1 million to buy and 1 million or over you can't trade. So now I got two super expensive ford GT's in my garage. The Mercedes race car and the 2j and 2d (I think it's called) are pretty rare. I seen them but they cost so much and never had the money at the time to get them
 
The best way to refresh the UCD IMO is to get into an A Spec race, start it up and once it's started exit the race and do this 5 times for a new UCD.
