8/10 - Nice guitar and I like the style of singing.

All my life I've heard a song
a lullaby you once sang
All my life I've trusted in myself
but now I need your help

All my life I've heard a song
a song my mother once sang
All my life I've tried to think on my own
but I'm not getting further without your help

All my thoughts revolve around sick things
Those dreams we dreamt came from borderlands beyond the barbed wire
where trenches were dug, when someone else built the country, when we slept
Now we're awake but we don't recognise it
They've demolished our streets, burned down the playgrounds
where we stayed as kids

No matter how far you've come
there's always a longer distance ahead

There was a light that never goes out
in the songs from my upbringing
All my life I've trusted in my luck
but this I can never get out of

All our ideals come from a pink 1980's
So now we think of travels, White Nights, Ian Curtis
Are you Michael Jackson or Michael Bolton?
Are you Pepsi, have you got Coke?
Are you profitable in your nudity, your bruises and your callosities?
You've got shivers cause you're freezing, is this the best that life had to offer?

No matter how far you've come
there's always a longer distance ahead

All my thoughts revolves around expensive things
Oh baby where have you been
we've already lit the grill
we've been waiting here in the rain on something that doesn't happen
and that never will
It's just a vague feeling
that something has been lost
that we've waisted our best time on envy
We haven't got further than that

The 999 things I'd never do
They're counterbalanced by 999 worse things I've already done
The 999 things I'd never do
They're counterbalanced by 999 worse things I've already done

2/10. Didn't even have to listen to it and it still managed to get stuck in my head.

As background music in a game I'd give it an 8/10, but without the game it would need more variation, so it gets 5/10 from me.

Here's a little something from the soundtrack of The Thomas Crown Affair (1968):

Is this a jingle? But still, it has that catchy tune though. 8/10

This song brought me to tears when I saw Paul's angel white Supra.:(
