A very nice shot it makes the painfully slow 2CV seem super fast!👍

P.s Those rims are sweet!

Similar idea from Empty. I like it, looks very very cool. That rims change the image of the car. The zoom blur is very exagerated in the vanishing point, but works to show the car over a generic background, like a DVD cover or somewhat.

It sure does. I think the excessive blur is great here.. just to show i fully tuned this car, wich costed a lot whilst still managing to keep it under 60 HP >_<
Thanks for your comment 👍

Wow! Very nice once again ray. Great execution of the blur. Very nice carchoice for this one. Hehe must be the fastest 2cv on the planet with such a blur. Great! 👍

Haha it definatly was! Fully tuned up, but still 57 HP  I used nos on the entire track and that car went i believe 113 mph tops on Tokyo.

A very nice clean pic:tup: you have made the car look great from that angle even if it is a Hideous car.

Indeed, this car is very well textured so i didn't need to cleanup. I think this car looks very sleek! I've put up some Mercedes SL 600 rims on it, and it looks very expensive now! The stock rims on this car are hidious btw, so that might have set you off:yuck:

Well, I am going to try and catch up with updates I have missed.

Toyota Corolla Rally Car & Nissan Calsonic Skyline: Awesome shots Ray, you have improved a lot. Your competition entries look great. You have captured both cars really well, they all look superb. I would say that the three Skyline shots are my fav.

S7, DB9 and Bridge shots: I love the S7 shot, awesome contrast and angle. The noise works well too imo, I have never seen noise like that before, good experimentation. The DB9 is also very nice, great reflections, I will say it again. You have improved a lot.
About the bridge shots, both are nice. If it was me I think I would go with the second, I like the blur better in that one. Doesn't really matter though now I guess. :D

Blitz R34, Buick Special and Mercedes SLK 230:
The Blitz shots are nice, great colour. The first does seem a bit to blurry though, I really like the second though. The Buick shots are cool, I really like the colour and tone of the images and the SLK is nice for a stock shot. You can get some awesome reflections form NY.

RUF 3400S: These shots are very nice, I can see why you had trouble picking your shot. In my opinion you went with the right shot, sweet colour and contrast/lighting. 👍

First Zoom Blur:
That is a superb job for being you first, I like the tone of the image and the car fits in the shot well. Too bad about the wheel blur, angle wheel blur can be tricky. Still, great job on your first attempt.

Second Zoom Blur: Another great job Ray, I see you added noise. If I was you I would only add noise on the road, because it can look strange when you see the lines coming from the center point and in the sky. Very good job, you are catching on quick.

Un-edited Comp Entries:
Since you have already entered your shot, I guess it doesn't really matter, I would of gone with the second one though. It is a lot different than anything else that was entered. The first one is nice, but I found the second more interesting.

Evo: This nice looks very cool, nice colour, blur and angle. I would lose the lines though. They are a unique addition, but they distract from the car imo.

Cobra: I am loving this shot, I do love the Cobra though. You did an awesome job, great colour, great blur and nice reflections. I like how you added noise on the car. Superb shot Ray. 👍

2CV: Haha. Now that is something different, I like how you put the bling rims on it. Good blur too, looks like it is actually going fast. :D

Lexus SC 430: You are getting better Ray, this shot is very nice. Great angle, the car also looks very clean too. Did you add noise, because it looks like you did. Really makes a difference. 👍

Well I hope that didn't bore you too much. :D I will have to try and keep up with my commenting on galleries from now on. It takes way too long to do this. :)

Thanks for that long comment.. i appreciate it :D And yeah, i added noise on the Lexus.

hey ray(quaza), I finally got through your gallery^^

you've got some really impressive pics in here! +rep! definatly deserved it!

they are really inspiring to me, so this time it is me who'll say thanks!:P

and btw, that evo pic with the stripes, you know, maybe if you would
erase the stripes on the car. That could do something good, but that's just me^^

edit: idea for an update: Shelby mustang GT 350 R '65? (just click the My favourite car in GT4 in my sig;),then you'll know why.^^ )

Great update, Ray!

Did you desaturate the BG a bit? It looks really good, makes the car's reflections (saturated?) stand out, looks gorgeous.

Also, although I'm not a big fan of 'extreme' angles, Ireally like this shot.

Congrats. 👍

Your recent updates (2cv and SC 430) are just amazing. I never saw a 2cv going so fast:)
Great quality shots Ray, this gallery is gettin so hot!!!!

your updates have changed a lot in recent time, the quality is definitely much better than before. keep up the great work !!

Many thanks guys, and beerz, i only added some saturation, but that was to the entire pic. This pic looked great when on TV, and from this angle you didn't see the light that was coming of the many shots besides on the car. And vince, i'll see what i can do with that car!

Can't wait!:embarrassed:

but do take you time;)

Here are 2 Shots, the first one is for the Tourist/Tourismo Competition, the Silvia is for my gallery.

Nice shots Ray, I see you are experimenting with the blur. I really like the first shot, great battle shot. Love the colours.
The second is nice but the blur is a bit off, I would of selected different parts and just used the motion blur. Very cool shots though, great angles and framing.
Keep up the superb work. 👍

Wou, the 787 one is very spectacular. Notice the blurred edges arround the car, so be sure to use the clone stamp or similar before blurring the background. Anyway the vanishing lines are nicely positioned, rather the last shot wich has a big offset. The noise is a bit exagerated but its going in the correct way. I like the idea man 👍

I agree, i messed up the blur on the second shot, it was a very hard angle. And the first shot i think is also my first shot with multiple cars in it as far as i can remember O_o
Thanks a lot for the comment, i'll try for sure :D

Edit: Thanks to alex too :D

Both good shots.

I really like the car choice on the 1st shot, and you made the 787's colors stand out well without oversaturating it, and all the details are there. Only it seems to be a bit missing on the side (right) mirror of the car. Great blur, but still that 'edge' around the car crops a bit of the moving feeling, nothing much.

The 2nd, the blur is really way off, specially on the uuper right part of the shot, but still a great angle and a good car choice - looks very clean. 👍
