Firstly, where did you find and/or come up with this? Second, Prototype or Coachbuilder Custom? Nothing major, just want to know how it's classified. Normally customs wouldn't be allowed, but I think we could allow a Coachbuilder special or two without much fuss.

A Rally Raid car counts as a race car, right? :nervous:

They are very much race vehicles, and the info is good.

It is a coachbuild based on Hispano Suiza H6C. I found it once when I was looking for cars that had an airplane motor in it, and Hispano-Suiza's supposedly had half of a V12 airplane engine on the nose. Displacement fits that claim, now that I think of it.

Same here, but it did take until now for the 350Z to go up.

What's with the second and a half between 60 and 62?

Different tests, most likely. If I had to bet, any acceleration test that got a 6.0 out of the BreezFrees most likely was done by Car and Driver doing a "blow up the clutch in 5 attempts" test, and the other one was done by a different magazine on a different day.

Plus, there is probably a shift between the two.

Good call on the 22B, that's another one I'm surprised hasn't been done. Why did we(US) get the crappy tin can Capri instead of this one? And the Holden will be fine, It's coming, we know it, and numbers are already available, all good as far as I'm concerned.

Torque: 258lb/ft @2500 RPM
Transmission: 5-Speed Manual
Layout: FWD
Price: MSRP US$39,000
Weight: 1390kg
Height: 55.7"
Length: 182.3"
Width: 67.4"
Ground Clearance: 3.9"
0-100km/h: 6.4 Seconds
V-max: 155mph (Electronically Limited)
1/4 mile: 14.6 seconds
100-0km/h Distance: 115ft

Fun Facts:
99-00 Models came with zero traction control. The Vig is one of the Stiggy's top 50 favorite cars and single handedly redefined the term "torque steer" via to much motor in too little chassis, paving the way for almost universal panning (still mentioned time to time in hot hatch reviews today due to it). Praised for having brutal mid range pull and of course, having more boot space than 95% of SUV's.... I own one :sly:

It can be better than SZ. You might want to take a look at the results thread.

However, unlike the Hispano, this one is a home build with no definite connection to Alfa proper aside from the engine. I'm perplexed on weather to allow it or not.

Why did we(US) get the crappy tin can Capri instead of this one?

The US got the same Capri as Europe up until 1976/1977. After that Ford made the MK3 Capri in Europe with the twin headlights and new grille. Their intentions were to stop production of the Capri around 1982, but since they dropped the 3.0 V6 and developed the 2.8 V6 Injection model, it breathed new life into it and kept the car alive for 4 years longer than Ford intended. By the end of 1984 Capris were only sold in the UK. I'd say because of this Ford of the US decided it wouldn't be worth importing the Euro Capri if it was to be dropped.
