new are :

- the whole rig had an offer I couldn't resist and I'm very happy and a bit proud because its a german product from a company who went out of business 6 years ago and its even got a serial nr. 34/100 ever made . a real rare find

best was , my wife didn't recognize the new rig although its twice as big as the old one
she went mental after I told/showed her , so dumb I did
took a while to figure out my
position in it and to mount all my extra stuff , but I'm pretty satisfied so far , but its also a work in progress as you all can imagine.

Pedal plates and the load cell are new as well and need some more practise .

a great buy, though a bit pricey , were the fasttrack boots which arrived two days ago .
braking now feels excellent compared to the "real" thing .
shawn cole from simpit stated the slightly deadzone in the pedal as "not so good" but I love it .
got a deadzone in my real car too and I got used to it immediatly.

only thing left to do is cover the pedal plates and the footrest with some skateboard griptape which will arrive soon .

Although we should probably just stick to consistency...

As Chase mentioned "very fast" is too much. Had exactly same experience, two careful laps and one tyre was already 9 (rear left maybe)

Normal was good, just keep it, I think.

@KingKlingeling, You're lucky you can have a permanent rig. My wife hates mine, and I have to pack it away when i'm done or I find the my kids hanging off bits that should not have small children hanging off them!!!

Although my boy does seem to have a idea of what to do!

I was planning on opening the room for 9, and hope to be under way with first race by about 9:30pm (BST) fitting quality in here as well

King, We had practice session last night after Ferrari event. Me and Hobbs are at 1:18:5 range. Sub-18 being possibility. I think you and kH would be at :16

Come early and do few laps, no pressure to stay until end

A practice session sounds good to me, this car can get unruley and I need all the practice I can get. Of course if people want to start the series today I will not complain.

Edit:

I suggest instead of 2x20min doing 2x10min and then 20min with reverse grid tonight. So if people get in late there is a chance they can join in the middle.

It was mostly clean and fun racing but after a "move" like this: (I know it was harmless mistake)

(come on, like if the momentum of the car was not enough, you needed the swing of that enormous rear )
