Red Bull RB12 "launch" - now with an actual RB12!

As has been well-documented in recent days, I do not perceive certain colours - including red - in the same way as most people. Part of this means that I have a unique sensitivity to red light; I can consciously detect subtle changes that you are not aware of and I can even see beyond the visible spectrum of light. Because of the unique properties of red light (for example, Ferrari's rosso corsa is blood red so that it appears as intended on your television screen), you only subconsciously detect the full difference.
Or, being partly colour blind means you are unfortunately ill placed to judge any red.

No, green is the colour that messes with my vision. And without the presence of green, my perception of red is fine.
You'd hat the Demon Tweeks BMW Z4 then.

Anyway, it's good to see Red Bull do something a little different. I can't wait to see it on track in Melbourne :)

I personally quite like the new livery. Will be interesting to see how it looks in night races compared to the other cars.

I think it looks awful, but I'm so damn tired of the same boring layout/livery. I'd like to see them use the actual can-design, quartered blue/silver. If Bernie didn't limit cars to matching - you could have a normal Red Bull and Sugar Free (akin to the old Kool racing Indycars, one was menthol, one was normal - easy to tell in the race).

And here it is, the RB12. Of note to me is are the incredibly tapered sidepods, the rear of the car is very tightly packaged.
