Redoing GT2

if it was, yeah they suck.

if i buy an R32 i always go FR. my first car for this time was an R32 GTS-t. have it maxed out at 384hp and it does the 1/4 in 12.059. pretty good little rocket.

it was half-good when I had the money to whack a few mods on, but once I bought my Mustang SVT Cobra, it was never used (plus it sucked) so I sold it

yeah i did the same thing. liked the sound of the engine at low revs...was crap as a racer so it went.

-the [R] 98 cobra is one of my favorite cars
it's got good handling, nice rev range, no annoying turbo, looks like one of the "Skip Barber Racing School" paint jobs

-it can't keep up with a supra, but who made that the rule!

I thought about it, but with TOCA Race Driver coming out next month, then Colin McRae 3, the chances of me having any time to get to an old PSX game are (rounded to no decimal places) zero.

yeah, when ive finished the cruiser and paid a bit off the house, ill buy a PS2. bought V8 supercar game for the pc last night...graphics and 3d modeling are ok but its pretty simple to play.

You're talking about the EA game, right? I saw that and had a little go at it at EB, and I wasn't overly impressed - I don't think EA's racing games are generally much chop (the F1 games for PS2 have been disappointing at best).

I was referring to the the Codemasters game, which I think will probably come out for the PC as well - these guys are pretty solid on racing games, and I think this one is going to be the duck's guts.

all F1 games turn out crap. ive hired a few on PSX but they were pretty damn bland.

tocas on PS2 hey...if its out on pc ill pay money for it, all the toca games are good.

Yeah - the V8 Supercar game coming out in June is the Australian title for the TOCA Race Driver game.

F1's been really poorly done on PS2 - the Sony one was okay until you got past the difficulty level where you lost traction control and ABS, and then it was almost impossible, especially with the aggression shown by the AI. The EA titles have been pretty unimpressive so far (and they've got a THIRD title coming out shortly!)

The best F1 games are still GP2 and GP3 for the PC.

GP4 is coming out soon, and I think I heard somewhere it's coming out for the Ex-Box.
