You have the GLOD :scared:. Basically the RSX Chip (GPU) has lost contact to the board. The only true way to fix it so it doesn't come back is to get the RSX chip re-balled. And as for your hard drive. If you put it in a different PS3 it will format the hard drive due to the PS3 keeping part of the NOR/NAND information on the hard drive. But if you back up your save's before hand to a USB Stick then you will be fine :)

Sooo....... what your saying is that even if I remove my Hard Drive (HDD) and put it in another PS3 the new PS3 will still wipe it clean like nothing was ever on it?

It was fun as f:censored: though. That was too funny, I was having problems breathing at some parts hahaha Damn you invisible walls!! Eric shouldn't passed me right at the f:censored:ing finish line ._. Haha It was hilarious.

Yep exactly.

GRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! *Punches wall* Now last question. If I take the Hard drive (HDD) and take it out of my original PS3. Then put it back in that same PS3 will it still reformat it?

No.

So it came in and the centering spring won't center the wheel.... the wheel knows it's off but the centering spring won't center it.... It sits 90 degrees to the right

That's not good. Is there a way to fix it?

So what? Your car will steer a little bit to the right. Just man up and steer to the left. Makes good practice for NASCAR racing.

APX thats a issue on all Logitech Wheels. Easy fix its the sensor thingy which is loose :).

Yep. I remember when you got yours you had that problem.

It is that encoder wheel Caramel. Get together with Kitten here and I am sure he can help you get it fixed.

Here is a video of the actual problem. All you have to do is tighten that bracket down then problem solved. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RiqB4CdCVrY&feature=youtube_gdata_player

Well, it's only like that on rFactor and iRacing, but GT5 is 👍

Oh ok.

Well guys, sorry to bolt out of the room yesterday. That spiking got worse and worse as the day went on.
Well I am having to do a little work to my G27 pedals. The potentiometer for the accelerator is spiking. This explains why I have been straightening out all week. Well time to go replace that.

Well, everything is working and awesome.... I totally suck at drifting, but man, does the feedback in iracing fell amazing.

Actually cleaning it was what I ended up doing. The potentiometer is replaceable, but hard to find because of the style of the shaft. The one I bought was ok, but the problem was it didn't line up correctly.

I cleaned everything and did two laps around SSRX, and it was fine, absolutely no bogging.
I need thank Ono the next time I see him.

Anyway, I will be online to drift with you guys tomorrow, hopefully we can play last man standing again.

So many comps and fun stuff going down and my PS3 is dead!!! T___T My PC is a Piece of crap! And I don't have any money to fix EITHER!! MAN!! See this is that bull man!
