I don't know yet, I believe a 48, or 49.
Ok, I'm writing up the race report right now. I'll be testing tomorrow morning.52.40 with the midfield tune lol
Yeah I got a 52.22 on mid field tuning as well.52.40 with the midfield tune lol
Going to test some now. Won't have time tomorrow.Yeah I got a 52.22 on mid field tuning as well.
Quick question, how did I break rule 02.D? I never even participated in the race. What happened this morning, there is no room for in this league. From anyone whether this is your first time on the GtPlanet, or if it is your second year on GtPlanet. I have to show this league is serious, and these kinds of instances are not acceptable in any way, from any body in the Pennzoil Championship Series.
There is no excuse for what happened from either driver. @TonyStert, your new, I understand you wanted to defend yourself. But there is a time and place to do so, I was the same way when I was new. What you said was inexcusable, but from what I gathered during your conversation. You are sincerely sorry, sorry's don't mean much. But I am trusting you. don't let it happen again. The result of this is a four race probation period on accounts of abuse of another driver, and ignoring orders from race command. Direct rules violated are as follows on the PCS OLR. 01.D You are expected to drive responsibly in a way that’s not likely to ruin the racing enjoyment of your fellow drivers, 01.F You are expected to behave like sporting gentlemen at all times, 01.J If a driver wants to retire from a race, the driver must have a valid reason for leaving. Rage quitting will result in 0 points for the race, regardless of bonuses, 02.B Leaving a race for any reason other than a valid reason that is told by the driver to a race official or the race director is considered rude and disrespectful. Doing so can result in Probation, suspension or a ban. Not talking things out lead to drama, 03.A Don't be disrespectful regardless of any issues 03.D If any issues arise, between drivers, both drivers will come talk to the designated race official, and a moderator in private, 03.E No off track Banter - Could Result in Probation, a Suspension or Ban
Now @trobes29, you are not new. You are aware of the GtPlanet OLR, and ours. I know in these kinds of situations you want to defend yourself. But you should know better after have running more than 4 series, as well as participating in many others. As much as I like you, you still did break rules in your retaliation to to Tony. In doing so. You will be put on a 2 Race Probation period for directly breaking the PCS OLR. Direct Rules Violated are as follows. 01.F You are expected to behave like sporting gentlemen at all times, 02.D Practice in an Official lobby at least twice a week to be eligible for the two races that week, 03.A Don't be disrespectful regardless of any issues 03.D If any issues arise, between drivers, both drivers will come talk to the designated race official, and a moderator in private, 03.E No off track Banter - Could Result in Probation, a Suspension or Ban. I know this may make you angry, and you have other options, and as you said yesterday, this series is what your DTM series is for Bambi. But if you have problems, please message me.
On to a much lighter note,
@FootballFan48, you helped me create this league, you know the rules very well. But there were instances in the race last night where you exceeded track boundaries more than a couple of times. In doing so, I'm giving you a warning. Next race, close attention will be payed to your lines. Direct Rule violated. 01.H Cutting chicanes, "shorting", or breaking track boundaries on the track at any point is strictly prohibited on all parts of the track, including the asphalt-areas
Lastly, @Harry6784. You are a very good driver, but it was found that there were a couple instances last night where you exceeded the racing boundaries, specifically in the latter half of the track. In doing so, I'm giving you a warning. Next race, close attention will be payed to your lines. Direct Rule violated. 01.H Cutting chicanes, "shorting", or breaking track boundaries on the track at any point is strictly prohibited on all parts of the track, including the asphalt-areas
Upon further review of the incident between Mikkelhost1996 and TonyStert. Both were racing very hard, and very well at that. Blue flags should have been given more sparingly as it was seen that Tony had fresher tires, a faster straight line car and was not impeding the race of Mikkelhost1996. Neither driver is at fault, it will be classified as a racing incident. Nothing more
Everyone get ready for next week at Suzuka East! For the shortest race of the series for 100 Miles.
If anyone has any questions comments or concerns, don't be afraid to message me, or post on the thread.
That is the practice rule. While everyone else practiced more than twice this week and in the last week in an official lobby. You came the day before the race. While you were in one or two of the Recruiting/ testing lobbys. You never stayed for an extended period of time.Quick question, how did I break rule 02.D? I never even participated in the race.

That's my mistake Harry. Shorting, cutting or exceeding the track boundaries is defined as more than half of your car off of the track. As rumble strips are considered part of the track. That is added leeway. You only did it twice that I saw, I'll being going over race footage one more this weekend after it is no longer fresh in my mind so I am not looking for the same things. But you cut once towards the middle of the race coming to the hairpin, a little more than half of your car was over the right side rumble strip coming into the hairpin, the other was in a similar manner, but towards the end of the race, but once you came off of the strip, you partially lost control of the car and completely went through the grass in the hairpin. It was just a warning, nothing serious. Can I get some clarification on what is considered "shorting" the track? My understanding was that two wheels should be on the track at all times.
But...I never raced, therefore I never broke a rule. "Practice in an Official lobby at least twice a week to be eligible for the two races that week". I didn't show up twice, therefore I wasn't eligible, therefore I didn't race. I want you to explain to me how that's breaking a rule. That is the practice rule. Edit: Added Rigid to the penalty list as well. Forgot to put him down as well.
No you didn't race, you are correct. But you said twice you would. However, you never showed up or posted on the thread. So. That's why that is there.But...I never raced, therefore I never broke a rule. "Practice in an Official lobby at least twice a week to be eligible for the two races that week". Yes please, because you gave me permission at the time to race, without telling me there'd be a consequence from it, in fact you even told me I might be able to race anyway just because I'm me (Not to sound full of myself but that's pretty much how you put it).No you didn't race, you are correct. You didn't race because you volunteered not to due to connection issues with Ty-Guy97. I was going to let you race, as you had every intention of doing so until the connection issue came up. The penalty was going to come up regardless. Plus, had you come to more practice sessions, you could have saw how the cars acted in various areas of the track, and the snafu with Tony wouldn't have happened, even though I did give you orders to throw flags when needed. So that is my mistake, I Guess I need to clarify that one more? Or make an additional one explaining this kind of circumstance? Lastly, Would you like to appeal it?
I told you that you would be able to pending your times improving. Which they did. I can take that penalty off, it carries little penalty to it. First is just a warning, it just doesn't need to turn into a habit is all. I know it won't with you. Anything else you wish to appeal?Yes please, because you gave me permission at the time to race, without telling me there'd be a consequence from it, in fact you even told me I might be able to race anyway just because I'm me (Not to sound full of myself but that's pretty much how you put it).
Nope, just the one that made absolutely no sense.I told you that you would be able to pending your times improving. Which they did. I can take that penalty off, it carries little penalty to it. Amen to that ran twenty laps today..... All of them were consistent up to the last corner.Lap is made on the last corner. You gotta turn in at exactly the right time.
As I said, all cars are fairly equal. Maybe I'll keep the Ferrari for now, I did say earlier that the cars would be better at some tracks. Thanks for doing that Harry. Remember guys, these will not be race pace by any means. If you're running consistent low 52s or and mid 51s. You'll be good. Consistency will win the upcoming race.So back on topic, I did some testing at Suzuka East in each car to see how they stack up. Did about 5 laps in each car and was surprised by results:
Honda NSX Type R '02 - 50.659
Ferrari 430 Scuderia '07 - 50.875
Audi 4.2 FSI R tronic '07 - 50.885
BMW M3 Coupe '07 - 51.230
Mazda RX-8 Type S '07 - 51.655
Subaru Impreza WRX STI spec C '09 - 51.693
Just practice, when you think you can't get anymore out of it. You find a way to push, and get a little more. Practice, you'll be fine.So I have to shave off 1.6 seconds of suck I guess

Ridgid-10-Car also left the race without a given reason. You will be given a warning and one race probation period. Actually you only broke 2. Most rules are here as a guide. Most of the rules are common sense for a decent driver. As they are in any other series, or racing league. As for the Blue Flags, they weren't given sparingly, that is for sure. I'm sorry to here it wasn't fun, that is suppose to be one of the most important aspects of this League. What a joke! Turn the penalties on man. Boundaries? You cannot have one person judge the driving and/or the racing strategy of another. That was like a kindergarten class. Blue flag's-(a little delayed), that should be under (racing 101). Sectors! "HUH"? You had to spend a third of the lap looking at the message board. All the unprecedented stipulations, rules and text flags took away any of the competitive racing the game was designed for. It certainly was not fun for me. That's why I play the GAME , to have fun!. Mr. Race Director and/or Mr. Race Official. View attachment 406747 Please accept my resignation from this series and apologies for breaking rules 01.D,01.J,01.H,02.B,03.A,03.E,03.D,01.F! I probably missed a few.
Divebombing is generally frowned upon in racing, as it usually ends badly for 1 or both of the drivers involved.I would like to know did i do anything wrong i mean yeah he had better straight speed but i had better cornering speed so why isn't it allowed to divebomb :S (just curious)
edit: and a little confused

Crap I had completely forgot about that. Yes though, I had decided the next day. Completely forgot, weekend was kind of a blur. But yes, Subaru, Correct?Any verdict on my request?
