Well, I managed a few hours on this last night.

It's fantastic. The map is far better than Horizon 2 - the roads are more varied and the scenery is incredible. The customisation is brilliant, the car choice is great, and blueprint is a great feature, despite the fact that you can't make your own route up. Also, you feel more immersed than you did in FH2 - more places to go, even houses with proper driveways. It all adds to a good experience.

Negatives? A couple of cars don't sound great. The most disappointing is the Aventador SV - it sounds dreadful, it's hard to describe. It sounds clearly 'computerised' if that makes sense. It's strange because the Centenario sounds incredible - so hopefully they can patch it.

Also, there's too many drivatars on the road. You drive a couple of hundred yards and you come across groups of two or three at a time, and they drive erratically at the best of times. Quite often I've built a huge skill chain up only to meet two cars coming the other way side by side on a narrow road, forcing me off the road or crashing into them. I wish you could just turn them off sometimes to be honest!

That said, those are two very minor things. I'm still really enjoying it. If anyone is still on the fence about buying it, just do it. You won't be disappointed.

They've really outdone themselves with Horizon 3; the development team should be proud.

Have to agree even though I still drive it a lot. The exhaust off the gas still sounds great (though the backfire sound is pretty loud), but it does sound very off. As if you're hearing the car right when it was on the dyno; it's kind of...muffled to me. Computerised sounds more appropriate.

No because its a fkn subscription , im not gonna pay to listen to my own music.
Yeah you only have to pay if you use their music collection, if you use your own music it's free. There's a 30 day free trial as well, if you want to see what they have. I still have to unlock the groove station in game, so I've only used it through the actual groove app so far.

Oke so if i want to listen to my own music i can use it for free for a unlimeted times?

Anyone else find the higher tier car races (S1+) surprisingly hard? Especially with off road sections?

With lower level cars I'm first by the end of the second at the latest, with upper level cars I'm usually in a desperate fight for podium position by lap 5. This is at above average btw.

I think so, I'm not positive though, I just got it last night. You have to download the Groove app from the Xbox store, and you can check it out from there. You have to have 6 radio stations signed in the game, before you can use the groove station in the car. But you can start playing music from the groove app itself, and it will play it while you're racing, until you unlock the station in game.

Is there a way to keep original paint schemes when you download new ones. I lost the original liveries of the Lamborghini and Ferrari Gt3 cars when I downloaded some alternative liveries for them.

Are Barn finds random other than the first? So far it's been Dino, Falcon, and I just got the R32 for my 3rd.

Dino found finally,3 in 1 hour and 35ish minutes.:) still 2 bubbles to check aswell, think one is the R32.

Avoid races with a Regera in it. Flippin' cheese car on any course with a straight.

Yeah, it does sound great off the gas. It's something that I'd imagine is easily fixed, so hopefully it doesn't take too long. The F12 TDF doesn't sound great either. I haven't tried either the standard Aventador or F12 yet so it would be interesting to hear what they sound like.

Managed to get another Horizon edition car off the AH. They're quite expensive, and I never saw one go below 600k, but after playing around with this one and the M3 I definitely think they're worth it and I'm hoping to collect them all!
