Well, I did get my first barn find; the Dino 246 GT and I recently finally won a car from the wheelspins; it's the Audi Quattro Rally Car. Also, it's as I expected; Turn 10 gave it the Pikes Peak body parts again. Awesome!
I'll buy a 2nd Quattro later on and create a replica of the Pikes Peak rally car with it.

I wish I could have seen my characters pants before I picked him......oh well!

Anyone do the Warthog Bucket challenge? Niiiiiiiiice!

Damn, y'all some lucky son of a guns. I've only won 1 car from the prize wheels and $200,000. That's been the highlight of that feature for me.

Waiting for the barn find to get the LM002 as well. On #5 right now.

and I just remembered another car with an historically interesting upgrade. I just bought the car and gave it that upgrade. I'll post pictures later.

EDIT:
I should note that I can't make sense of some of the cars Turn 10 picked to be traffic cars rather than playable like the BMW 323TI Sport. I personally would have picked a car in worse quality as a traffic car like the 2006 Audi RS4 or something.

@TokoTurismo congratulations on the NSX-R .

Anyone else feel like the physics have changed since the demo? A lot less traction on the dirt and the water seems... Thicker?

The hardest thing so far is relearning how to drive from the behind the car view. You miss so much of the view from the cockpit.

Anyone else find it kind of irritating that the license plates are universal and not per individual car?

While I understand this complaint, it seems like having it that way would kind of defeat the purpose of having the custom plates in the game.

My only complaint thus far is that pretty much every race I've done so far has water at some point.

Has anyone tried groove music in game yet?

Yup. Works like a charm - which is surprising, considering that the Groove app hardly does (did? I must admit I only tried to connect to my cloud-stored music a couple of weeks ago, to no avail). I'll have to test a custom playlist as soon as I get around making one.

Anyways... I haven't felt so overwhelmed by the amount of content presented by a game since the day I got started with EVE Online. Which is not to say that Horizon 3's as big of a game as EVE, of course, but... Damn. The map's easily twice as large as that of Horizon 2 by extension - and if you take into account how much more open it is, it could easily be four or five times the actual explorable area. And it's jam-packed with content!
There are entire areas that I still have to set foot (wheel?) in. I only know Yarra Valley's featured because I declined Keira's offer to expand the festival there.

The basic career may be a long affair... But it doesn't feel like a grind at all, due to the fact that you can Blueprint your own events. Now, if only the Holden vs. Ford theme allowed the use of HSV cars and/or we had custom themes...

And the game not only feels huge, but it's also remarkably polished. The graphics are fantastic, the sound immersive, te physics well-tuned for fun, the menu designs elegant and intuitive, the soundtrack energizing and never stale, the Drivatars have finally learned how to avoid collisions and drive on a public road... My mind keeps running comparisons between this game and its predecessor and boi, did Horizon 2 suck compared to this.

I'm going to try the 30 day free trial on groove, and create some playlists. I have 600+ CDs, but I don't have a PC to transfer them all to digital, or the time to mess with it anyways.

Not very impressed with how the game feels with the G27. I love this game, but using a wheel on FH3 is like trying to cut a hotdog with a Japanese Samurai sword. The menu won't even recognize the G27 when selecting it, even if I have it plugged in. It works while driving, but there is no button for back view, horn, E-Brake and side view. Also, the steering is deader than ETS2 and ATS. Clutch has about 1/8th of travel and bites until the pedal is almost fully released, Brake is too strong while moving at normal speeds, and when stopped, the car keeps on rolling even if I'm stepping on it.

Will just put it aside and play with controller. It's not a sim anyway. Other than that, OMG... This game is something else. Have you guys seen the new wheels? They are absolutely fantastic! I love everything about it!

Anyone want to add me? I have no friends Haa

@MockngBrd
I'll add you buddy.

Edit: this groove music is pretty cool, it's a 30 day free trial. I didn't mess around with any playlist yet, I just picked 3 full albums and added them. Pantera far beyond driven and vulgar display of power, and Jay-z life and times of Sean Carter volume 3. :)

It's pretty damn cool...

Can you not assign any controls for the G27? On FM6 Apex you can.

I noticed that there was a couple finished Downloads for a Special Edition California and Gallardo yet there is no sign of either car in the game. Anybody know what's up with these cars?

Also, making lap races longer leads to a much better racing experience as well as better payouts.

Also I'm sending out friend invites, if anyone gets a request from RoLnD79, that's me. If I miss someone, feel free to send me an invite.
I've got you on my drivatar team!

600 CDs? Pfft. Piker. I've got over 4000 and every one has been converted to mp3s. It was a two year job to convert them all. I need 3 160gb iPods to hold all that music.

Well, I found my 3rd barn find. Though I don't think the Maserati is even done yet. Anyway, the fricken Meyers Manx. Which reminds me, there's one of those that I've seen for sale lately.

Yeah, I generally do 5 or 6 laps instead of the 2 or 3.

Hmmm strange, I don't see anything there. Did you also order from GameStop? Is it a separate code from the game itself?

I ordered the digital copy from Microsoft, it took forever to fully load up and my bonuses did not show up until it was at 100%.
