Has anyone tried groove music in game yet?
Yup. Works like a charm - which is surprising, considering that the Groove app hardly does (did? I must admit I only tried to connect to my cloud-stored music a couple of weeks ago, to no avail). I'll have to test a custom playlist as soon as I get around making one.
Anyways... I haven't felt so overwhelmed by the amount of content presented by a game since the day I got started with EVE Online. Which is not to say that Horizon 3's as big of a game as EVE, of course, but... Damn. The map's easily twice as large as that of Horizon 2 by extension - and if you take into account how much more open it is, it could easily be four or five times the actual explorable area. And it's jam-packed with content!
There are entire areas that I still have to set foot (wheel?) in. I only know Yarra Valley's featured because I declined Keira's offer to expand the festival there.
The basic career may be a long affair... But it doesn't feel like a grind at all, due to the fact that you can Blueprint your own events. Now, if only the Holden vs. Ford theme allowed the use of HSV cars and/or we had custom themes...
And the game not only feels
huge, but it's also remarkably
polished. The graphics are fantastic, the sound immersive, te physics well-tuned for fun, the menu designs elegant and intuitive, the soundtrack energizing and never stale, the Drivatars have finally learned how to avoid collisions and drive on a public road... My mind keeps running comparisons between this game and its predecessor and boi, did Horizon 2
suck compared to this.
