I want the BAC Mono, the 2017 Nissan GT-R, and the P1 GTR. Would be cool to throw the latter against the FXX K at Surfers Paradise!

This, though, definitely tops my car wishlist for this game.

Just to add another to what @Ameer67 said, you also get early access if you purchase the ultimate edition of FH3 which is on September 23. But if you wish to not purchase that and go with the regular edition it, that's fine too as I'm not forcing it on you. 👍

Just curious, does it let you play this on Windows 10 apart from Xbox? Or do you have to open it on Xbox and stream it to your PC? I'm just curious how it works. Possibly investing in a graphics card if I can play it on W10 alone.

I won't be playing this until around February or March :( My wife and I are moving to India for six months in October and I won't be taking the XBone with me, perhaps I'll take the 360 instead but anyway yeah I'll miss out on first few months of FH3. The upside is that I might be able to buy it at a cheaper price.

The hell. Why? Work I guess.

Gee mate, tough call. I hope you get your Xbox time over in India.

And you could probably shoot for even lower prices, if you're not too worried about AA. Especially since Horizon 3 will likely be more optimized for PC performance than Apex was.
Guess we'll see, I have a hard time believing in some miracle optimizations, PC and X1 are one and the same now, same API, same productivity. Anyways, I'm sure you can use some quadruple Titans to run it in 4k.

If you don't believe in optimization, take a look at some Indy games. There are many examples of poorly optimized games running like dog:censored: with very little actually happening on screen, and then there are the well optimized games with tons of action, better graphics, and a more robust physics engine, that also runs significantly more smoothly on the same hardware. Granted, that's mostly down to the engine, and I'm not sure how much more performance they can squeeze out of the Forza engine, but there still might be some room for improvement.

Not exactly fair to compare games made by 2 guys in a garage vs a company with 100s employees, massive resources and support.

I'm not. I'm comparing games made by 2 guys in a garage with other games made by 2 guys in a garage. Besides, if optimization wasn't really a factor, budget wouldn't matter for performance, a better looking and more complex game would inherently be more demanding. There are huge differences in performance between Indie games depending on the engine and how the game was optimized to perform well with that engine's strengths and weaknesses. I've personally experience frame drops and crashing on what should have been a simple Unity game, then hopped over to another, more complex unity game, and had a buttery smooth experience. Same goes for games running on the Unreal engine.

If you want, you can look at AAA titles, as well. Take a look at GTA4 on the PC, for an extreme example. Not many games get a budget like that, but the game was an absolute pig for reasons obvious to no one. GTA5, a vastly more complex game that should be far more demanding, actually runs better than GTA4(on higher settings and higher resolution, even) because they made huge improvements to the engine, and optimised the game itself to better suit that engine.

EDIT: My point is, if Rockstar can squeeze that much more performance out of their game between itterations, then I see no reason T10 can't at least make some improvement. It might not be the huge leap like GTA4 to GTA5, but I'm confident they'll at least make some progress toward optimizing the game to run more efficiently on PC.

Hey guys! I just had this dream that Forza Horizon 3 was going to feature bikes and ATVs. If this was to come true it would blow my mind not only for variety in its content, but also for the effort PG would put into the game. :D It be cool as a expansion pack as well!
Yeah I took the plunge also when it was announced, I wanted it all, did the same with FM6. Can't wait for some Aussie goodness, being an Aussie of course.
I can not wait to Australia! It looks like a really beautiful place to explore and take pictures, which I usually like to do in real life with my phone. :) Epic choice to begin the next Horizon Festival, and with you as the boss of it haha. :D:tup:

Oh I think there's going to be plenty of room for improvement, once Scorpio is announced. Though not sure what it means for current XOne owners or those planning to get the slim. We'll probably get the economy version.
