FH3, GTS, F1 2016, And WRC 6 were all present. Same with Valentino Rossi The Game if you prefer two wheels. Assetto Corsa also seems to have been there, though I'm not sure if much of the Kunos team was in attendance alongside it.

Not really surprised by the result: the Forza games do tend to have a high level of polish, even in pre-release form.

GT Sport was at E3? If you can point it out at the Sony conference I'd be really grateful.

Believe it or not, there were games at the event that weren't in either Sony or Microsoft's conferences.

Actually, seems the site lists the nominees. Slim pickings:

Best Racing Game
- Forza Horizon 3 (Playground Games/Microsoft Studios)
- F1 2016 (Codemasters)
- Gran Turismo Sport (Polyphony Digital/Sony Interactive Ent.)

That's really awesome news for people who dont live in that city. Problem is the general experience is that PD goes to TGS, not E3. If you dont show it on the streams people dont know about it.

Well, strictly speaking, it's not much use to those in the city either: E3 is a press-only event, and other than a handful of people that gained access via Microsoft last year (I think), Joe Public doesn't set foot inside.

A fair amount of outlets showed GTS during E3, but the fact it had it's own event a few weeks before means there was less of a focus on it, especially as the show floor demo was essentially the same.

So long as Sony doesn't skip Gamescom, I'd like to think we'll get a fair amount of info there, as it's GT's biggest market and it's open to the public. And, like you mentioned, TGS should provide a similar amount, if not more, info.

I have a feeling I'm going to playing a LOT of Horizon 3 and almost no F6 at all.

Welp, made the plunge.

Once I discover Gold Coast, that's where I'm going to stop roaming.

Wondering if any of you lovely people would have any idea how much a gaming PC that could handle most games at 1080p 60fps at a higher detail quality would cost
few updates about reasonable videocards:
- there will be 4Gb RX480 in custom design(i.e RX480 Nitro) around 200-250$(end of July?)
- GTX1060 release date 19/07/16, but at first there will be only reference 300$ FEs. Dont expect 250-270$ variants till October
- GTX1060 will be on par with RX480 in FH3, even if GTX1060 will be overall more powerfull GPU(cause dx12)

IMO, if you want Nvidia GPU - take cheapest 1070 with 3 years warranty, its one of the best for price/fps.

As said for FM6, I hope there's more factory body kit options for cars. I would love to be able to put LX bumpers on the 1993 Mustang Cobra R for instance.

Looks like people are still complaining about the handling (or rather the lack of surface interaction) in Horizon.

They never said it would be a realistic open road racing game, which blows, really. I was hoping they'd ditch the arcadey turn your exotic car into an all-terrain vehicle approach, but no.. they just want it to be casual.

F6 already took a casual direction compared to 5. I don't like where this is going... I mean FORZA is the only game on X1 that's well-rounded in terms of sound, visuals and physics. They're robbing us of that!

I would not be surprised if H3 is even more unrealistic than H2... they're just so busy trying to make it the best franchise out there, that they make the game super-easy and pro-arcade so that the NFS, TDU and Burnout fans can also get some.

Makes sense from a marketing and revenue standpoint, but we ol-school Forza lovers suffer somewhat.

Oh well, good that AC is coming. I regret the off-topic! H3 will be immensely fun I'm sure just like H2.

I don't recall any three of those getting a more casual approach this iteration. Sounds can be hit or miss, but not any worse. Visuals look better than ever, really.. I think you're mixing visuals with just the pure modeling of vehicles. Physics feel much more fluid and natural, than they did before.

And they've already hit that nail with both FH1 and FH2, so why you think they would feel the need to downgrade is odd.

I've said it a million times, but I just hope they have some nice twistys somewhere, with a barriered street so that way you'd actually have to drive on it.

Just came back from the Cars & Coffee event at the city Lamborghini dealer. There was some rain but it was still nice.

There was also a dragster owned by the dealer, had to film it when they loaded it in the truck. My ear is still hurting a little bit from the sound
