I'm working down the list of championships in Blizzard Mountain. Should be done in about a week. Then I'll be 100%. After that, I'll work down the list of achievements, see what I can finish off. A lot of DLC and another expansion to look forward to. Photography and painting. I haven't done much painting yet, so I'm looking forward to getting well and truly into that again.

Absolute domination :D

^Loved that car in GT, PGR3, Asphalt 8...

Shame the Forza series has failed to feature it.

Plus with the current omission of the VW brand the hope of ever seeing this car seems slimmer than ever!

Did some rivals recordings a few days ago - for some reason only Movie Maker can handle my recordings without artifacting or exploding.

Edit: Wanted to comment on the CJ5 - dang thing is OP as frick and takes off like it has a rocket strapped to it.

Also, bonus stuff at the end:

I was wondering if anyone else encounter this problem. A while ago, I 100% the main campaign. However, I check my progress tab again and it shows 97% completion. I look at the discovery tab and shows that I am missing some drift zones and danger signs; despite getting three stars on all of them. Is this a glitch or bug?

I don't have it yet, but could it be the Blizzard expansion? I heard it comes with new events so that could possibly be adding more onto progress.

I don't think it should, since the Blizzard mountain has it's own tab and progression chart. However, I did one of the drift zones again and beat my original score. That seemed to restart the tracker to 100%.

3. Radical RXC Turbo
That'll make a good addition to Forza Motorsport 7; a closed-top Radical will feel like an LMP3 car :)

As for the pack itself, I pay no real interest to it. Once I realised that I only used 3 of the 42 cars that were in the Forza Motorsport 6 Car Pass the whole notion of DLC cars was something I wouldn't really bother with anymore. The base games have hundreds of cars for me to enjoy and you very rarely find a DLC car that is "essential"; that's even more the case for Horizon as it's not the kind of game where "leaderboard hunting" should be taken seriously.

The i8's a good inclusion though, seen a few of those around town and they're pretty :)

So update for you guys, have had the game for a week and played a few nights after work. I've maxed one of the Festivals and have about 1.5M fans, and I'm level 63. First impressions, WOW 👍 This game is honestly so incredible. I've played some online as well and love the Goliath circuit, it's a blast. I managed to buy 5 HE cars yesterday, Dodge Viper ACR 08, Corvette, Ford GT '17, Ford Focus RS, and the BMW M3 1997. Drifting at the airfield with that M3 is really really fun :D

Overall, I'd say it's unlikely I even turn on my PS4 in the near future, FH3 is going to keep me pretty well occupied after work.

Edit: If you guys don't already know who he is you should add Jon Doewon Song on Xbox, he is the #1 FH3 player currently if I'm not mistaken and his tunes are incredible.

That Radical is actually a proper road car, in terms of lights, number plates, road tyres... it's in pCARS DLC if you want to compare.

Anyone that currently uses a wheel for FH3 can you tell me your setup? I use a G29 for GT/PCars/ AC/ etc. and curious to know if G920 or something is worth it for FH3.

Glad that you're enjoying it. 👍

Small correction: Its Don Joewon Song and I can personally vouch for his builds as being brilliant. ;)

I first met him in Horizon 2 and we ended up duelling for top honours on plenty of events back then, then he refined his builds and began getting even faster.

As of late, he's being doing plenty of things on Horizon 3 for Youtube like setting No1 times on tracks, Stringing a track together in one stunt combo and on a few occasions, doing both at the SAME time.

There's no question he's incredibly talented, The superviral video of the "Presidental Reverse Drift" and his more recent Xbox activity of him barrel rolling over a train in the ultra heavy Terradyne Gurkha are a testament to that.

Ahh that's right Don Joewon Song :D Yeah his builds are A1, the presidential reverse drift video is brilliant 👍 I work at a car dealership and my dad who is the GM here used to play that video in the sales meeting and say that's how far we need to step back when someone comes in on the ad cars :D He seems like a really cool guy though, used one of his Ford GT tunes for Goliath and absolutely loved it.

Speaking of him, I really want to see if I can take on one of his times. Can someone recommend one of the rivals tracks that he has a time on?

He's done pretty much all of them, but if you add him as a Friend you'll be able to find his times much easier.

I've raced with him a bunch of times, good guy. I just wish he wasn't so clickbaity with the names of his tunes on the Storefront. Everything is "Best ___" or "Perfect ___" ;)

Well it's tricky to decide which track or class where he's even remotely weak at, but Surfers Paradise: Archway Meadows Circuit in S2 Class is his "Nemisis" in his own words.

That's not to say he'll be a cakewalk though so bring your A game. ;)

Seriously, why does everyone cut the chicane on Town Tear Up? It's a lame tactic.

(I've beaten three rivals so far who've used that tactic. Two of which are GTP.)

Seeing the R31 is in there, one can only hope :D

To be fair, that's the R30. The car we're getting is the R31. R30 was a different generation that had a turbo 4 and was designed for super silhouette racing. (which that car above is) R31 had a turbo 6, and was mainly for Group A racing. The R30 and R31 share basic styling cues and a nameplate, but not much else.
