You typically only see notes for the first 2-3 updates. After that the only real inclusion each month is the DLC itself.

I can't wait to hear how the ATS-V is meant to sound in the game. Correct me if I'm wrong but won't it be the first proper modern (2010s and up) American V6 in the game? Right now I've just been using the 2016 NSX sounds for it since I assume they're decent enough.

I'm pretty sure it's required. I've already written them off for this reason. It does, however, annoy me that the Silvia S14 reward is tied to an online event. The first time around it was awarded for completing a singleplayer drift challenge, but I didn't own the game at the time.
Far less likely? This has never happened to me before.

Unfortunately I think you're right.It will be ignored until it finally goes off the front page at which point they will continue on like it never existed. It's their SoP on the forums.
As some body that works in community management it's frustrating to see how Turn 10 treat their forum community at times.
I wouldn't be surprised if they are so focused on getting new players (both to buy the game and potentially a console to play it on) that they don't care as much about retaining their existing base. For every concerned forum user there are thousands of people playing that don't know or care about any issues a game may have.
Can't blame Turn 10 for chasing the money but it's frustrating to see a series get so close to the "perfect racing game" standard yet refuse to have a two-way conversation with those that genuinely want to see it get over the line.

I definitely think they care about retaining their player base. A lot of FH3's main features were answers to many of the forums requests for years. It's just their interaction on their own forums has always been pretty poor. Even when Che was around it wasn't great and then it's just all gone down from there tbh.

The Civic Type R has a pretty hilarious bug. The lower LOD model (the one you see on lower settings, or the one that Xbox users see in non-photomode) has a mouse cursor baked into the texture:
