Remote racing is great.

Right i decided to go on about 12ish and looked at my bspec drivers. Roughly about 200k. I cleared them all and just recently went back and there up to 90k already.

This is such a brilliant idea from GT. Im hoping to get atleast 500k + today , would like a few mil from it but im dreaming that.

Its made the B-Spec GT Life races accessible to me with the XP rewards, and made progress faster, allowing me to race the ones I want and go back for things like the Mini race later on when I'm bored. And then there's the credits, I've probably have made around $400k so far and will be remote racing most of the day today.

I'm strangely addicted to B-Spec with the addition of remote racing. I could have cared less before, but this seems to round it out nicely and and will add so many hours of play to this game. Between this, the Seasonal events, and the update improvements I think PD has given us lots to keep busy with.👍

I know what you mean. I hated b-spec , i thought it was the worst thing created but since the the update. The remote racing is great. Just checked i got about 450k , im going to leave it till tomorrow hopefully it will touch a million or soo.

Having my 6 drivers out Remote Racing today has replaced the 7 hour grind between me and level 32, with a way in which I've generated more money for myself and others than I would have done grinding through B-Spec endurance races alone.

Also, my driver L. Bueno has risen 13 places to take first in his last two 20-min races, even against higher level opposition. Does anyone else have any legends in the making?

I've been remote racing for about 2 hours, racing others drivers and having my drivers raced by others after finding people in the remote racing thread.... my level 0 bob jumped to level 14 in no time! Made about 100k already! Kind of feels dirty but i like it!

I'll be running my PS3 over the next couple of days on remote racing for sure!

I wonder how often the tracks, cars and races will be updated. If I had to guess I would say as often as the online car dealership.

Its added a new dimension for me and a few work M8's too. I wasnt that into B-Spec but got into it while trying to determine some Maintenance factors(how far between oil changes / loss of BHP etc). What we seem to have started is "Nickle and dime GT anywhere". Its like low stakes friendly poker but with GT Anywhere. We set up a game at breaktime. Everyone who wants to add a driver pays an English pound and the winner takes all.

I read through the terms but couldnt find anything about gambling. If there is however Im sorry. Also please remember that gambling can be a serious problem for some people, also even this low stakes gambling may be illegal where you live! Only stake what you can Easily afford to loose and that way it stays a bit of fun and doesnt get out of hand...We actually started calling it "20 bob bobs". A bob in english slang is 5p and 20 are in a pound. Now at work the call goes up " whos in for 20 bob bobs" were having a blast!

Some people that dont even have GT5 are getting envolved. So now they have dibs on some of our Bobs. Were getting like race horse trainers that train other peoples horses. If the non gamers are doing badly with a M8's BOB they move "stables" so to speak. Its actually great fun and beats reading the paper at snap time!

Its gotten to the point that were thinking of introducing a rule where if a non gamer moves stables we have to retire that BoB and make a new one then train him up usually via the exploit but also by having freinds use them, so that he / she is attractive to future owners! K Moss is a recent addition to my stable I hope shes gonna do well...lol

The fun really comes from the Handicap randomized by PD. I saw a level 11 Bob beat a level 19 bob the other day....Big outsider as the racing people would say!

I know that there is never gonna be graphix to watch unless your infront of the playstation but a track map with different coloured dots representing each player would make it complete for us!!

Leave your drivers set to online when you turn off your system, make sure you have many like minded friends (theres a bspec remote friends thread on here) and there you have it. Money starts to build quickly when friends start using your bobs in their races If hosting just keep racing and again it builds quickly. I would say i've done a million today while doing other things

The Nardo is pretty untouchable though.

The W12 Nardo seems to have no trouble going from last to first. In any races I've hosted, my Bob is yet to score a drive of it. But then, I haven't been stuck with the V8 Vantage either. That one is heavily out-classed.

anyone know if there will be more remote racing events? Is it going to be like the seasonal that change every so often or are we stuck with these 9 events?

does anyone know if there are notification for when someone uses your driver in a remote race? i ran a couple today, lost my first race and won the second one. it was cool and all, but im not sure how many times i will leave my ps3 in server mode when i leave my house. i prlly try and make it a habit once i reach level 40 and have nothing else to do but to remote race.

You can check your log, to see who has used your Bobs.

Better yet, when you retrieve your prizes, it'll tell you how your Bob's went and who used them.

EDIT: Useful so you know who to include in your races, or if someone never helps you out like you helped them.

I second this! And thanks GT master42. You are a great remote host! I have seen you around and raced your drivers many, many times. Agreed! This is great!
