Hello, Im new here but I found this topic on another racing games forum.

I just want to say thanks for setups and also with my OWN setup of Gallardo Lp 560 I can do a better time at London River. Here's a proof :-)

if not for your original tune however, i would not have had a foundation to build on in first place. i'm glad the murcie has been well received thus far, it's my favorite car.

Noted Issues


- Transitional oversteer due to possible improper toe setting, camber angle, slip angle adjustments, or the rear wheels simply can't grip enough whilst cornering with the accelerator fully applied.

- Powerband may be a bit narrow.

- Doesn't take very kindly to sharp cornering.

Thanks for the great tunes on the zonda r and lp-640. Seems lately I have been a lot of races with a max car rating of 14. I've been using the nissan gt-r v35 not fully converted but tuned to you works version settings. Every now and then, I get pummeled by an LP560-4 or a Camaro.

So the question is, do you have any specs for the rating 14 cars mentioned above and also which upgrades to use?

You could try the Audi r8 all upgrades and RT tune, i use it as my favorite 14 rated car.
Its got that nice bit of usable over steer really nice tune to drive with.

Just want to ask... Do you plan to improve the tune of Z06?:)

It's strange. Before the last patch my Z06 (using Terroniums tune), was just about perfect, but the 1.02 patch did mess it up some. It still feels good so I haven't changed anything, but it's like it lost grip or something. It may not be something that Terronium can fix. (Although I wouldn't put it past him).:)
 
I definitely plan on fixing my older tunes and stocking new ones, in fact every single vehicle was supposed to have been stocked already, but my copy of the game prevents that at every waking chance. I've got one of the original 360's and the optical drive tends to scratch the discs because of a 🤬 up design ethic. So, some are scratched beyond being able to be read from in certain sectors, such as Gears of War - I totally need to pick up a new copy of that, Chapter 5 (I think it's 5) can't be read and the following is prompted: "Disc is unreadable, blah...blah." While others take a good second or eighteen to properly load or end up stalling within a specific time limit, one that I can't possibly narrow down as it plays for different lengths on different....days. So, while Shift hasn't gotten this damaged as I've been saying beforehand I have to pick and choose the days I can do anything. :ill:

Well, the first couple of laps I was posting consistent 1:17's. If I were actually driving, I'm sure 1:14 to 1:15 wouldn't be hard to manage.

The first tune was somewhere in the lower 1:18's to mid-upper 1:19's.

Sounds good, I'm looking forward to giving the retuned Gallardo a spin. I never quite managed to get down to the times you mention for the v.1 tune of the Gallardo, my best was just about mid 1:20.
I know I've gotten into a couple of bad habits, time wise, around London River but always enjoying a good time.

Some feedback after driving the new version 2 for quite a few laps ( the Gallardo being one of my favourite cars). Generally the car feels more 'tight' for me in comparison with the old version...less oversteer but more driver input required during tight cornering. Slight adjustment of the steering lock overcame that however...gave that comfortable slight oversteer in mid turn.

I did find you have to be cautious with the trottle on corner exit, as power transfer is almost instant BUT the most significant change for me is the increased top speed ( some long tracks managed an increase of 20 km/h).

As always a brilliant tune...in my opinion a very good tune for longer tracks where speed is required...might be a bit less responsive for the shorter tight tracks BUT thats my opinion (for what it's worth!)

I play Call of Duty Modern Warfare, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, Grand Theft Auto 4, and my favorite game so far is Need For Speed:Shift. I enjoy drifting, I mean, I ENJOY ! it a LOT ! I KNOW ! that you guys aren't into drifting but hey, could you please, I'm begging you Terronium-12, make up some of the tunes and test them for me for drifting? :\ Please.. The tunes should be really,really easy to control ( I've tried some of yours, here's an example.. Honda S2000 tune, I need a few more like that one :\ ! ) so yeah. I need the tunes for : Honda S2000, Nissan 370Z,Nissan Silvia S15,Toyota Carolla, BMW E46,Infiniti, and the two Mazdas (Mazda RX7,Mazda RX8) ! Please. If you do that for me,I will literally find out where you live, go to your house with two strippers,give you $5000 check and say thank you. Plus, I'm honestly going to donate to this site if I can( I don't know if donating is possible, I made an account just now !:( So yeah.) Please let Teronium-12 read this :\

Talk about being hyper, my gosh. :lol:

I'm not a drifter and that requires an entirely different mindset as you're looking for a vehicle to be nimble enough to flick around a bender whilst maintaining a certain angle of powersliding, and I wouldn't have the slightest clue where to even begin...but, I'll see what I can possibly do. I'm not promising it will be fantastic, and if it I don't like it, I'm sure I can find someone who will work up those tunes for you.

I've not seen any drift setups posted anywhere, but do have an idea that you can follow up on. Go to the NFS Supra Drift Competition YouTube site and look at the video responses. It's located here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VCUPbQSuWwY . Contact those that entered the contest and see if they can give you some tips for drift setups.

I have just got into drifting with my g25 race wheel and i am finding the limitations of the standard drift setting but i am to scared to play around with them.

Note ** This car started out as an R/T tune . After the patch this car changed dramatically. There are still many similiarities to the original tune, springs and dampers are virtually inentical.
This car works for me, for my driving style, ( powerslide, yes please) this tune has burned up many tracks its HOT. top speed on the long straight at Nordschliefe 205 mph. im sure it will go much faster with less aerodynamics.

I can vouch big time for this tune as i used it to wipe the floor with everyone on saturday at willow springs, it drifts a lot but once you adjust your driving style a little bit this car really becomes a winner top work NITROVIOUS.

But i will say this tune will not be for everyone this is for the drivers that like to spin the rear wheels round bends, if your good enuf with this tune you can basically use it as a drift car for grip mode but dont think of that as a bad thing as this car may be drift but it is super controllable when drifting so you can basically drift corners but still hit the apex and its so fast you dont lose any entry or exit speed at all.

I hated the lambo i was always for the Zonda but after coming to grips with T12'S tune and then NITROVIOUS's tune this car is now one of my favorite cars top work guys 👍
