Could the requests escalate? Most certainly and for no reason than this: as the GT series gets more popular - sells to a wider audience possibly used to playing other racing/sim-style games - you will always have a number of people who don't actually research what they're buying or can expect. Those will likely feel dissatisfied.

There have been a number of comments on other forums along this line for other racing games, so it appears to be an endemic problem.

Then there are the other reasons stated previously in this thread which will cause an increase, in my opinion. I doubt they'll go away and not all of them have to do with the quality of the game either. It's just representitive of a proportion of humanity and not necessarily human nature, after all, we don't all make such demands.

To be fair, that wasn't entirely clear...

Would you say a majority of people who thought gt5 wasnt up to spec would research gt6 before buying?

I would hope so for their sake - that still wouldn't stop any new ones who don't check from going ballistic on forums afterwards though :sly:

I like the way you're maintaining this thread by the way - gently guiding it back on topic as and when required. Good job.

Get further guiding than kicking lol in answer to my own question i will be researching gt6 before buying.

Im not sure how productive it is to flood forums with requests im from the days of the c64 and spectrum machines it was always what you see is what you get its also probably the reason im never fussed if we get dlc or not.

I wish it would have stayed that way, but in an era where people think glitches shouldn't exist anymore this is pretty much what you get.

I'd rather DLC never existed for the same reason now cause the cons of DLC outweigh the pros of it.

Yeah but companies are always looking to milk a game and the internet allowed dlc to be born.

Mind you if anything these large amounts of dlc requests could at least throw ideas into future releases so they serve some purpose.

Yeah, but now you got what's happened to Mass Effect 3 I do agree slightly that some of the requests help, but not much.
