Me too, I held up on buying the Beta because of the limited content and fear of how my PC would perform on it. Once the Enduracers team get the mod converted I will definitely go for it!

Me too.
and OMG!!!!! Mid-Ohio has been released!?!?
I'll download it when I'm not lazy.

Most of what I've seen is quite impressive with rFactor 2. I seem to be impressed mostly with the atmospheric effects as well as the time cycles. I'm probably sure my PC isn't going to be able to handle rF2, but I do love what all I've seen in videos.

The new mod drives like the rest of the game does, extremely well. The driving experience is on par with Iracing if not a bit better

Wow! That's saying quite a lot! The only feature iRacing has on it's side is the laser scanned tracks wich ensures the most accurate rendition possible. The Virtua LM guys do an exellet job with their tracks, but in some cases like sebring they are a bit off from the real thing, whereas iRacing's version is spot on!

yeah nothing can match a real laser scan, but the tracks are close enough (IMO). The driving has a completely different feel than Iracing, but I feel it definitely stands on its own with its great physics and tire model.

I read the requirements for rFactor 2, and I'm afraid I won't be joining the rF2 party. I'll stick to the first rFactor unless I get a new computer. I am still hellishly impressed with what rFactor 2 has to offer even in its Beta stage.

I have downloaded and purchased rFactor 2. I tried to research on how to install tracks and cars but I probably have missed it.

• I have downloaded the torrent for the mods. (Is that for modding or to install the cars and tracks?)

If anyone could guide me I would appreciate. I have been a console gamer and I just bought a PC.

That looks pretty good! Sound could use a little work but for beign a beta it looks pretty good!

I wish the development was faster than it has been. At the moment there isn't much content. I hope the next patch brings a more complete package + improved graphics.

So how has the beta been for you guys so far, compared to Pcars since I see a lot of you from that thread here.

Disappointing. The car selection is minimal, and I have had mixed results when trying to run the game on my dual 560tis. The track selection is also minimal, far less than pcars and they do not look much better than the pre-alpha tracks in pcars. My view is that pcars is further along, even thought its pre-alpha and rFactor 2 is in beta.

The seemingly slow development pace is what's been holding me back from buying the game. I don't wanna get a game I'll have to run on less than optimal graphics settings, and also the loss of grip at the edge of the track is keeping me away. That unrealistic loss of all grip is something I've always hated in GT5 and I hope it gets corrected on rF2.
