Hello. I think I am going to purchase this game, but I have no experience with the first rFactor.

Are the mods easily understood, or at least explained somewhere online?

What is the online community like for rFactor? Good number of players?

Also, how is the AI on the game and are there good championships/season modes?

It's way easier than rF1.

Is there someplace I can find what cars are included with the game? Looked around the web site some but couldnt find anything. I would like to get this but not sure whats included with purchase.

Keep in mind it's still a Beta. The cars that has been released are:
-F1
-Formula Renault 3.5
-1960's F1/F2/F3
-Nissan 370Z GT4/Nissan GT-R GT1
-Renault Megane Trophy Cars

Well, from ISI themselves it looks like they'll have Rallying, Karting, Can-Am, Old Sports Prototypes, New Prototypes, more GT and some Touring Cars. From the modding community there will be hundreds of miss. So far there all pretty much works in progress. There is indy car 2012, F1 1994, F3 Italia, International Formula Masters 2009, F1 2008, some Swift DB-1 chassis, an Audi R18, and an IMSA 300zx. That's all we know.


And guys Rees a new mod by WSGT2, I can't link you at the moment, but it's a Welter Racing WR LM94 from the 1995 24 hours of Le Mans. It's looking good!

I have a question about how the modded cars work. So if someone makes some modded touring cars, can you set up a league against the AI with points and schedule, etc. and use those modded cars?

Not necessarily. You can have your own league against the AI, but there's no setting for it.

Yeah. The GT3 mod is amazing. Any idea of what a good FFB Setting is for the G27?

Guys 1 question, is Brianza supposed to appear in the 1960's World Class mod or the All Cars and Tracks one?

That's what I was worried about... It isn't apearing on the 60's mod for me, and when I go to race online I can't join any of the servrs using Brianza and the 60's Mod...

The whole thing is a bit buggy, I certainly hope they will adopt the rF1 method. Pick any single mod and race it on any track.

It must go in the "Packages" folder, from there you install it using the manager. Also check it from in-game. I'll verify paths when I get home this weekend.

Has anyone seen the Ayrton Senna 1988 Mclaren Mod? I just downloaded it. You can only find it on the servers now as it is in the Beta stage. It's very fun! Except for a few small bugs. Some people are saying it's not legal. And there's also rumors of an A1GP mod floating around on the servers.

There may be additional options "in-game" Jav. I don't remember, I'm pretty sure it is at the top of the screen, I don't remember if in the main menu or the sub menu when you select the series you want. Sorry, I'm going on memory.

Also, when you launch the mod manager from the launcher, check the path at the top of the window, ensure it is correct.

How install

To avoid the windshield issue (temporarily) put the files in:

"rFactor2\Installed\Vehicles\Nissan370zGT4\"
"rFactor2\Installed\Vehicles\NissanGTR\"

Respectively, and delete the same folder ones in "rFactor2\UserData\player\Settings"

This replace the default ones, to back to him just delete the .dds files.
