Unfortunately due to UK laws, I'm not allowed to ride it until August, which is when I will turn 24 years old.:grumpy:
Might be able to snag a trackday, if you can get the bike there. I presume you're A2 licensed? A lot of these events require a full licence (e.g. MSV), but you might find one that is not as stringent (a few don't even ask to see a licence). Alternatively, a novice ACU race licence will get you anywhere...

If the thought appeals, I'd suggest phoning the various organisers, you might get lucky.

Not bad for the little 899! And on road tyres, too...

I actually think the stock bikes might be a little too fast. The race machines lap about right, though.

It's indeed not bad at all for the smaller panigale!

After making this video I decided to quickly make another one! This time with the S1000RR SBK vs the BMW M6 Gr.3 racing car!
Video will go in premieres in 5 days!

Update 1.10 means we now have sunny, daytime conditions for Macau and The Snake!
TBH, I don't care about this unless they've changed the conditions of some of the old career events in Macau. Have they changed the conditions of some of the OG career events?

According to the update notes, they have indeed changed some of the career events.

I find the difficulty level to be extremely high, even on the lowest setting. I seem to get left behind by the AI racers when I do a race. Ride 2 seemed much easier. Looks like I may be abandoning the game.

How long you been playing the game, does take a little time to get in to it. Ride 2 was easier, because of physics, al also:).

What you getting stuck with, people here will help.

Is it fair to say that getting Gold on a Time Attack is more or less dependent on how powerful your bike is?

Yes also how smooth, you are, too, try doing time trials, where load people ghosts. Took me quite a while to get silver, in first tier supermoto, but still need push get gold.

I gave up on the initial race with the Ducati as the AI kept knocking me off the bike when they weren’t disappearing into the distance! I then tried a Quick Race with a low performance bike and had similar problems with disappearing AI.

Gold is usually well out of reach for me unless I take drastic measures, which basically feels like cheating for the sake of stars.

The KTM 690 SMC and its Husqvarna equivalent, the 701, are an interesting addition, because they're almost proper Supermoto bikes, but they clearly don't ride like the SM race machines included in the game, instead like the other road bikes. In that respect, the pair might be a more accurate representation of the breed, as it were.

Of course, they weigh 50% more and have 50% more displacement, but their 690 "LC4" donk barely makes any more peak power than a race 450, so it's a much gruntier delivery.

It's the only single cylinder with both a crank speed balancer and a 2nd order balancer - the latter is similar to what's needed in ordinary inline fours, only it's not twin balancers in the sump, but a single item where a camshaft used to be.

Crazy (genius) stuff, and it allegedly makes all the difference in reducing the tingly / buzzy feel - in combination with smoothing the power pulses via independent twin spark ignition, a clever resonated intake runner and the ride by wire throttle.

So I bought the game whilst it was on offer in PS store. I love the game for its depth and sheer volume of great bikes, however why is there a 'Pro' mode when it literally is no different to the previous lower physics setting! I cannot see any discernable difference in handling. No punishment for riding over grass and none for gunning the throttle or front brake regardless of how reckless you are! Other than that the physics feel quite solid. Also the huge deadzone and lack of controller adjustments is a bit annoying as well.
