Can't make a motorcycle riding game without a nice scenic route through the mountains.
Brings back memories of the riding trip to the Eiffel area in Germany, ok not really a mountainous area, but for someone from the north of The Netherlands every hill higher than 10 meters is a mountain.

My last 100km ride had an elevation of a whopping 305metres

Stelvio confirmed :D

There's early gameplay shown in this video from the Gamesweek in Milan (actual gameplay starts around 9:40):

Graphically it still looks quite rough, but just the Stelvio alone would be a reason to get this. I hope they have multiple stages of that course all the way to the top.

Milestone had their first preview of RIDE at Milan Games Week. Warning for some painfully bad riding. Starts around 13:20.

I like what I'm seeing, even though the physics seem all too similiar to the one found in MotoGP 14. Thoughts?

Edit : Beaten by @Fryto. :embarrassed:

To be honest I've never been too fond of the handling in milestone games, but I hope they get to be more like the handling of TT.
Only have two motorcycle games where I loved the handling and those are TT and GP500 from microprose.

He said the game was only 60% complete and are still working on the graphics, Namely the shaders. Also there will be 20 customisable parts for perfomances and aethstetics. More than 100 bikes. No scooter. No offroad. Damage turned off in video. Too early to give information on wether there will be day/night cycle and weather.

VXR
I think I'm most excited that I won't need to go back to the PS2 to get a bike fix.
Haha I only just found out about this game today.
I'd just bought a Free McBoot yesterday to play my NTSC copy of Tourist Trophy (for 1080) and TT Superbikes 2 and Legends.

I really like this team. They've made the most complete rally games ever made, a great decent MotoGP game and now this.

It's been said before but these are the tracks i'd like to see in Ride:

Assen
Bol D'or 24 hour race
Suzuka 8 hour race
IOM TT
All Irish road races
Australian TT track
Mount Panarama in Australia
Silverstone
Donnington Park
Brands Hatch
Cadwell Park
BSB race tracks
WSBK race tracks
Super sport race tracks
Sidecar race tracks/road race tracks.
Indianapolis full track
Daytona 200 track
MotoGP tracks

Bikes i'd have are as follows:
70's GP Bikes
80's to 90's GP500 bikes
All Moto GP machines
WSBK bikes
BSB bikes
SuperSport bikes
Historic race bikes for all types of racing ( Triumph, Vincent, Mv Agusta, BSA, Norton, Suzuki, Yamaha, Honda, Kawasaki etc )
NSR500 powered side car machines ( aswell as 600cc powered etc ).
And ofcourse some more road race machines.

I think RIDE should be the Gran Turismo of motorbike games, with all different types of racing involved.Perhaps it's too late for this game, maybe in the sequel. This is what Piboso should be doing.

Lookin' gooooood.

The Aprillia displays what I most dislike about modern bikes - where's the multicoloured, fun liveries gone? It's all so monotone.

Some Ducati gameplay with sound
As far as graphics go, I have no complaints. Solid framerate too.

The only thing bothering me is how the bike(s) still seem to lack any sense of weight. With that said, it looks better than when they first previewed it and at least to me, it appears to show some progress made. Still though, I simply can't wait to get my hands on this game, or the demo.
