Wales looks like a pretty cool location, Also theres a drag strip on salt lake which is cool too.

I expect Milestone to include the MV Brutale dragster and Ducati Scrambler at some point, I expect ducati especially would like the scambler to be in the game (im seriously considering getting the scrambler, stupid atire not included)

I love the line up guys, especially the Bimotas, Aprilias and Hondas.I like them all. They've got the modelling just perfect too. Also has the Salt Flats in the game so expect drag bikes too, such as Burt Munroes Indian Scout.

I'm really enjoying the game - although I'd love to ride the 1199 Panigale S in the demo  whenever I see it in the race I go into free camera mode and drool  haha...

Good stuff:
•Handling model is pretty much exactly the same as MotoGP 14; which for me is amazing; I still love that game
•I like the customisation and all the real products from all the major bike accessory manufacturers - seems like Milestone really do have a great contact with the biking world
•Bike List, lots of new bikes which makes the game fresh, one problem: where's the Ducati 999/749?

Only complaints I have are:

•Very long loading times, especially double leading screen when starting the race :irked: (tho I suppose every loading time is long compared to loading times in Driveclub)
•not being able to map R1 (I use it for gear up (I still use the same mapping as the one in PD's TT))
•all the other bikes in the race do not look as good as the player bike
•Mirrors - thats not acceptable in the next gen game!!! :yuck:

MCN magazine from UK had all the info on DLC's. For example in the first DLC we'll get the new 2015 R1 and 2015 R1M plus some extra bikes. Season pass is said to cost €19.99 so I think around £14.99...

Does anyone know if you'll be able to set the difficulty in the world tour mode?
If it works anything like MXGP or MotoGP, I suppose you'll be able to change it under Race Options before each race.

Did they mention anything about extra tracks as DLC.
15 is really lean nowadays, although it must be said that it's a quite original tracklist, with little overlap with other games

Watching a video of the japan location really made me think of road rash for some reason, They should include it as a mode. Would be awsome

There was a game in the works by a certain UK dev that would fit this bill... sadly it's on hold right now!

Maybe once their imminent game release is out the way, things will start happening again. ;)

Edit: me too @VXR

15 locations and 31 tracks. Makes it sound a little better. If Forza and GT can count each layout as a track then why not Ride :)

I liked the demo, the only things I would fault would be the fact they have the chat button set to where I usually set my gear up button and it can't be changed.
Some of the aftermarket wheel options have the tyre mesh clipping through them, a lot of the tuning options only visually effect the front of the bike and leave the rear parts standard equipment, like brakes and suspension.
If you try to do wheelies the bike will start wobbling once you get to a certain angle every time, no matter how careful you are.
The paint finish on the bikes looks really bad, like they were painted with aerosol cans in someones shed.
Changing the exhaust makes no difference to the sound.

I was very happy to see that standard number plate, indicators and mirrors can be removed.

VXR
I'm looking forward to its Xbox release.

I hope you have good eye sight, that or a Go Go Gadget magnifying glass...! ;)

I'm going to admit now I know next to nothing about bikes but looking at the websites bike list has me excited, such beautiful machines, especially the older bikes with the round headlights. The track list looks interesting as well, plenty of new tracks to learn.

I'll definitely be getting this game.

It looks like Belgium is getting it a week later? All stores here list April 3rd as release date...

Yeah, that sounds about right. They said it's a March 27 release date, though only a few of countries are getting the game at this time. Those I think are England, France, Italy, and a few others. Australia is getting it on the 2nd, so is Germany and Spain. Unfortunately for me, the latest date for any country is New Zealand, we get it on the 7th.

Amazon UK it is then. It's even cheaper with shipping included than it will be in stores over here. I'm probably not getting it on release day that way, but still sooner.

Ah right, no worries lol.

My want for this is reaching fever pitch. Can't wait to see livery options.

I can't seem to put the demo down now that I've gotten accustomed to the physics. It's just so much fun.

Worryingly, the release date appears to be all over the place. Hopefully I won't have to wait longer than the 27th, which is supposedly the release date here in Sweden. Who's distributing the game? Is it Bandai Namco?

I believe it is, which would explain why it was delayed (much like another racing game that was meant to come out now that's being distributed by Bandai Namco). :P

Hmmm, that might actually be a good idea for me too. The fastest shipping option can get it to New Zealand in 2-4 days apparently. And then I'll have it a week before it even goes on sale here, and for a cheaper price than the NZ sites are selling for. Though Amazon doesn't mention the pre order bonus (Yamahas).

I hope this doesn't become a reoccuring theme with Bamco. If I recall correctly, F1 2013 had some ''logistical issues'' to North America.

Checking out their website, it says May 19th.

:odd:

I think that's for America. I clicked the "buy" link and it went to Amazon.com. See. It mentions in the shipping something about being able to ship to countries outside of the USA, so I assume that means that is coming from the USA. That also said it's set to release for May 19. So I was wrong when I said NZ has the latest release date. If you live in America, you might as well just buy it from the UK and get the game a month early. :P
