Notes :
I always wanted a nicely built CRZ, for this 450PP version, I used different approach than usual, Street Tune :)

For a start, I go for turbo in order to achieve necessary power and decent torque delivery that won't hurt the tire too much.
Then suspension comes from J's Racing Showa Street Sport Coilover with low spring rate aimed for street comfort but also still fun at at the track. The coilover allows 30mm max drop at front and rear, spring set at 2.8/3.9, some might think, wow, that's just too soft, but don't worry, as the car is lightened at 1040kg, and excellent damping, the ride is supple but firm :D Front damper is set to avoid excessive dive under braking, while the rear is set to achieve better traction on exit and mid corner.

ARB has been set at moderate stiffness at 3/3, giving good steering response and still nicely planted on mid corner.

For LSD, I have used 1 way low preload, with low locking rate to help with reducing push on exit when using lower grip tire. An alternative for those who can take advantage of better traction and good throttle control is 33 acceleration sensitivity.

Transmission has been fixed with corrected gear ratios, and final gear from 2014 CRZ model year which offers higher final ( lower top speed + better acceleration ). Additionally, the 3rd gear has been replaced with MFactory 3rd gear set at 1.357. The stock 3rd gear is too wide spread from 2nd, as it was set for city/highway driving. With the Mfactory gear set, the spacing is perfect now and offers brisk acceleration :D

The weight distribution has also been fixed at 59/41 as in real life spec. The J's Racing CRZ was tuned and tested at Tsukuba, Willow Springs Street, Brands Hatch GP and Bathurst :)
When tested at Tsukuba on comfort soft, it's capable of 1:05s lap.

ENJOY

Notes :
Spoon, one of the best Honda tuner ever !!

I saw this car featured on magazine articles, then I got really curious, how does it drive in GT6 ? so I build a replica :D

The suspension comes from SPOON Sports N1 Spec Coilover with pretty high spring rate set at 14k/12k, the stiff springs made the car really sharp, with tuned dampers for balance between understeer and oversteer.

ARB has been set quite stiff at 4/4, giving good feel on turn in and exits.

For LSD, I have used SPOON 1.5 way Circuit spec LSD, with high cam angle on both drive side and coast/brake side, torque preload from factory set at medium. This gives the S2000 very good traction all around, but not too restrictive.

The weight distribution has also been fixed at 49/51 as in real life spec S2000 AP2 with hardtop installed. The Spoon Sports Type One Garage S2000 AP2 demo was tuned and tested at Tsukuba, Brands Hatch GP and Bathurst :)

When tested at Tsukuba on comfort soft, it's capable of easy consistent 1:04s lap ( stock gearbox )

ENJOY

Hello good sir.

I was wondering if you could help me.

I've recently become slightly addicted to the premium Blitz ER34.

I'm running a nice setup, that I'm happy with, but I'd like to try something.

I'd love, if possible, to attain the spring rates, geometry and LSD setup for this :D

I know your great with this sort of thing, so wondered if you could help?

Keep up the good work 👍

Tried to look up for suspension, weight and drivetrain infos, :( didn't find anything. But I do know, most D1 cars running DG-5 Coilovers. I found information for Daigo Saito's different ride, his D1 USA Black Chaser, but still limited to brand name of the suspension, no weight or power figures :( I could make a tune ( grip or drift ) based on the infos - mix and match  I have several coilovers infos for JZX100 - APEXI, HKS, GP SPORTS, BOYZ CST Zero 1, TEIN etc, and LSD is definitely 2 way :)

I'm amazed at the info you have provided, even if it isn't exactly what I was looking for.

Thanks anyway mate :gtpflag:

Nomuken is running the DG-5 kit :P Since the sponsor sticker is on the car, haha. And I think he's running an Nismo GT Pro LSD (Loose Socks Drifting! LOL Does that ring a bell?).

Notes :
This car is built according to a J's Racing built customer track racer back in the late 90's, the car was sold off and left Japan to live as track day car. Information for the build is very hard to find, I have to scour forums, and J's Racing sites, and finally got a user who have been close with the car owner that can give me further details on power specs for the J's Racing B18C race engine, suspension, LSD etc.

The car is one mean FF machine, the body has been gutted, reinforced and fitted with a roll cage, weighs at 985 kg for this 450PP version. Powerplant came from J's Racing hand built B18C racing engine producing over 270PS.

LSD uses J's Racing High Traction model with low initial torque, 55/25 cam angle and locking rate tuned for R comp Semi Slick ( S tire or Sports Medium in GT6 ). MFactory Cross Mission/Close Ratio gear set 3-5 has been used while still using stock final gear, for tracks with higher top speed, simply lower the final gear. Suspension has been upgraded with newer J's Racing CRUX Engineering SPL version Racing Damper Kit, with spring rate set at 14/10 aimed at racing on the track. Wheel alignment, particularly toe has been tweaked, with slight front toe in and slight rear toe out to give better steering response.

The 450PP version is highly recommended to run on sports tires as the power easily overwhelm the skinny comfort tires. Tested and tuned at Tsukuba, Brands Hatch GP, and Nordschleife

ENJOY

Notes :
Another J's Racing themed Honda :)
This EF8 CR-X is surprisingly much better than the EG2 CR-X Del Sol :D

The build is based on street/track built J's Racing EF8 CR-X that I read on a magazine article long ago, details are sketchy as I could only remember bits of information. So I decided to make a new version on 450PP level.

The CR-X is lightweight, the interior has been reworked, chassis reinforced and fitted with a roll cage, weighs at 955 kg for this 450PP version. Weight distribution has also been fixed to replicate real life CR-X EF8 at 62/38, don't worry, the handling is still superb. Powerplant came from J's Racing hand built B18C racing engine producing 260PS.

LSD uses J's Racing 1 Way High Traction model with low initial torque, low locking rate aimed at loose handling. MFactory Cross Mission/Close Ratio gear set 1-3-4-5 has been used and J's Racing 4.700 final gear is used, for tracks with higher top speed, simply lower the final gear to stock final 4.266 or 3.900 or lower. Suspension has been upgraded with newer J's Racing CRUX Engineering SPL version Racing Damper Kit incorporating Swift Springs, with spring rate set at 12/8 aimed at racing on the track, while still great on the road. Wheel alignment, particularly toe has been tweaked, with slight front toe in and slight rear toe out to give better steering response.

The 450PP version is highly recommended to run on sports tires as the power easily overwhelm the skinny comfort tires. Tested and tuned at Tsukuba, Brands Hatch GP, and Nordschleife.
At Tsukuba, it managed an easy consistent low/flat 1:06s with my best time at 1:05s on comfort soft.

ENJOY

UPDATE : Added alternative LSD setup based on real life J's Racing LSD 1 way.

ENJOY

@Ronald6, @danbojte, 2 new Hondas CR-X posted, both are FF and 450PP, and hopefully these 2 are worthy to be used online as they are rarely used :D

I hope the Del Sol drives well, as it's a bit wild at 450PP.

This car in showroom spec is crazy good. 25 years ago, the Winton 300km production car race had 2 of these in Leyton House colors. Towards the end of the race, 1 was still in contention for the outright win against a 1989 Supra Turbo no less. Supra disappeared on the straight only for the cheeky little CRX to catch up in the twisty bits and be all over the Supra like white on snow for the rest of the lap.
I've had a great deal of respect for this car ever since.
This version should be crackers!

The Maserati Granturismo S has always been one of my most loved sports car :)

The weight for a start has been replicated to that of MC Stradale 2013 model, 80 kg lighter than base Granturismo S, while still maintaining the excellent balance at 48/52.

Power and torque has received some improvement in real life, at 460HP and 53 kgm of torque, the replica has both figure replicated.

The 6 speed transmission has also been fixed to replicate real life MC Stradale 2013 specification :
Real life MC Stradale 2013 gear ratio
3.21
2.05
1.44
1.11
0.90
0.76
Final - 4.184

Max speed on every gear, km/h / mph :
1st 75 / 47
2nd 118 / 73
3rd 168 / 104
4th 218 / 135
5th 269 / 167
6th 318 / 198 - real life test top speed

The GT6 replica is as close as possible to replicate the gearing, with max speed on each gear closely replicated, including top speed.

For LSD, a special model is used, Quaife ATB Competition differential, with high initial torque to give smooth response delivery, and high locking rate on drive side giving excellent traction which Quaife is famous for.

Suspension comes from a special model made by FORTUNE AUTO, the 510 Series Generation 4 Racing Coilover Kit with custom SWIFT Springs.
The 510 Series Gen 4 featuring Fortune Auto's new Ultra Double Digressive Piston ( UDDP ) with updated shim stacks, the Digressive piston allows for high low speed rebound force that effectively control dive, pitch and roll. The rebound force also greatly tapers off to provide the driver with a supple and compliant ride while maintaining superior mechanical grip over rough surfaces.
The replica has 14kg/10kg spring rate with optimal lowered ride height and damper + ARB tuned for exceptional balance.

The Maserati was tuned and test at Tsukuba, Brands Hatch GP, Bathurst, Ascari, Laguna Seca, Trial Mountain, Nurburgring GP/F and Nordschleife.

The car may feel tight to some, this is expected :D, be smooth with steering, brake and throttle when driving on comfort soft, and the car should glide in and out with no drama :)

ENJOY

UPDATE : Fixed weight figure and distribution based on Maserati Official Brochure :D, the tune also tested with improve body rigidity installed, and it drives great at Nordschleife on Comfort Soft.

UPDATE 1.09 onwards : Added Maserati Street Alignment Range as optional.

Alternative Color and Wheel as posted on the tune - Mineral White and OZ Wave with Black Diamond Tricoat.

Hey Ridox,
Great work
Green version :yuck:
White version :D

If I was running this on Sports Hard, what adjustments would you suggest to free it up a little?

I like steering with my feet (right thumb) as much as my hands (left thumb)

Have you driven the replica ? The replica can be throttle steered even on comfort soft, so I am guessing SH tires would be fine. I tried the car on SM tire and it drives exceptionally well at Tsukuba.I would suggest to give it a go first, if you have any issues with the car, let me know :)

No I haven't had the pleasure yet. The reason I asked is because you said in your description that it's a little tight. I took that to mean that the rear end is more planted than the front.
I'll take her for a blast tomorrow sometime and get back to you.

Notes :
The Maserati Granturismo S has always been one of my most loved sports car :)
The replica in particular is a kind of East meets West :D, with parts taken from Japan to make this Italian beauty completely transformed.

The weight for a start has been replicated to that of MC Stradale 2013 model, 110kg lighter than base Granturismo S, while still maintaining the excellent balance at 47/53.

Suspension comes from Japan, a special model made by FORTUNE AUTO, the 510 Series Generation 4 Racing Coilover Kit with custom SWIFT Springs.

ENJOY

Alternative Color and Wheel as posted on the tune - Mineral White and OZ Wave with Black Diamond Tricoat.

Great replica driving pleasure. Then, I've lowered the weight at 1320 kg, BB 5/6, Camber 0, FG 4800 => Super Class - Ascari 10 laps - Winner! :sly: 👍

Awesome, the Maserati drives well at Ascari when I tested it, I'm sure with much lighter weight, the car drives even better :) I have another version that I'm currently building, the MC Trofeo, still using Fortune Auto specs :) It will have 488HP, 1380kg, different weight distribution and body rigidity, maybe also flat floor. While the 500PP will have 1350kg and 391HP.

Well done Dan. That's quite an effort as I've only won there in the LCC Rocket or the Caterham. Anything heavier & I'm in tyre wear hell. Did you have to do a pitstop?

I may have made a mistake with the Maserati MC Stradale weight balance, I am researching more into it now, might be 48/52, will update soon.

UPDATE : Just got my hand on official Maserati brochure, 48/52 it is and 1700kg weight. Will update the tune, testing is underway.

UPDATE 2 : Replica has been updated, 1700kg, 48/52, everything else stays the same, let me know if there's problem :D

Looks like I found more infos on the MC Trofeo, it has heavier front than rear and 500HP for 2014 spec :) The replica is 90% finished now, capable to replicate real life MC Trofeo World Series 2013 pole lap at Silverstone :D Due to weight reduction limitation, the car will be slightly heavier at 1400+kg, in order to reach real life weight balance. Surprisingly, the car drove even better and more realistic in lap time performance when compared to real life laps.

Thank you, Pete. This is my favorite challenge for testing the 500PP, non racing cars, always with SH tires. For this car, the refuel was necessary. Although, you can find some cars with low fuel consumption and excellent tire wear, when you can skip the pit stop. 👍

@ Ridox I can't find all those paint chipsets. :P Can you please provide some extra info, when it's possible? Thank you! 👍

The Maserati Granturismo S has always been one of my most loved sports car :)

This particular tune is for 500PP, aimed at light weight and good acceleration with custom close ratio gearing.

For LSD, a special model is used, Quaife ATB Competition differential, with medium initial torque for 500PP level, and high locking rate on drive side giving excellent traction which Quaife is famous for.

Suspension comes from a special model made by FORTUNE AUTO, the 510 Series Generation 4 Racing Coilover Kit with custom SWIFT Springs.

The Maserati was tuned and tested at Tsukuba, Brands Hatch GP, Bathurst, Ascari, Laguna Seca, Trial Mountain, Nurburgring GP/F and Nordschleife.

When tested at Tsukuba, the car was capable of easy 1:04s lap on comfort soft and my best lap was 1:03s

ENJOY

I will look into it, what paint chips are you looking for ? Mineral White ? The green polarized color is from GT color shift :), I have also posted the 500PP version, the MC Trofeo is coming too, it will have 2 sets of tune, 2013 version at 488HP and 2014 at 500HP ( the only difference  )
