Nice run in the snow with @Thorin Cain earlier, visibility is horrendous when you're following someone might need the driving line on to see where you are going
Don't pass it's something different that can aid you in other areas of your driving. I'm not a huge fan of the Nurburgring but I enter the events and try and improve myselfI see you've already posted the August 8th race information. I have no interest in snow/dirt racing, so I'm going to pass on that one. Good luck to all of you who do enter! 👍
It was fun I thought my Hi-vis paint job might have helped but nopeNice run in the snow with @Thorin Cain earlier, visibility is horrendous when you're following someone might need the driving line on to see where you are going
Just build car and tested 200kg, installed it on +30 to get close that desired weight distro, car suspension wasn't enough as is, but then only adding +1 to rear arb and it's good.@danbojte and @OdeFinn, would it be possible to update the Dino tune for the race ? I have the weight data of an owner ( 246 GTS ) with the targa top fitted and GTS is about 20kg heavier than coupe GT, but the are variation anyway depending on the equipment fitted ( AC, audio, etc ). So the car weights at 2827 lbs / 1282kg with distribution at 42.5%/57.5% which is very accurate IMO as I also have references from R&T test 1972 246GT weight data tested at 3100 lbs / 1406kg ( with the driver + test equipment )
So, please if possible add ballast to max - 1280kg and distribution at 42.5/57.5, and hopefully it will still drives just as great

Pretty much in balance after that, clocking 2:50.7 on second lap at spa.
And then adding +1 to front and rear dampers compression it maintained close to 1080kg maneuverability. Lap time stays same.
Without ballast it goes 2:48.1
I'm happy with either way, without ballast for event, but Ridox should test later with ballast too, not bad, with ballast it just reminds driver where motor lays.
I'm doing some testing at Sierra this afternoon and gave the changes a try. With the ballast added and just the ARB adjusted the car seems to rotate a little easier and possibly a bit harder to catch if mistakes are made. With the dampers increased as well I think it's pretty close to the original set-up. More stable all round and won't rotate quite as easily. You can tell there's a bit more weight there but it's not much of an issue I think it's pretty close to how it was before adding the ballast with the ARB and damper changes made:tup:Sounds great to me, it depends on @danbojte now if he can test your setup changes on damper + ARB and ballast position Anyone who have time should try the changes, see if the car is good enough
Okay...So, my buddy gave me a PS3 that he had sitting around at his house. He played SOCOM 4 occasionally, but he couldn't care less if he never played it again and he knows how bummed I am about my lack of GT6 right now. It's not a Slim model - not exactly sure how big the HDD is in this thing. Well, I installed the game and the updates... Took just around 6 hours again! And guess what? I didn't even get 45 seconds through the Nordschleife when the tarred track disappeared - just like before. Are you freakin' kidding me?! Oh, and I noticed that if I let the GT6 screen saver kick in -- or maybe its more accurate if I say, if the demo screens start playing when the console has been idle for a certain length of time - you'll hear the audio of racing cars, but the GT logo is the only thing you see, along with the dots moving left to right. At that point, the game is locked up. You can't press X or Start to cancel like you normally can.
Is it the physical disc?! I don't know how the F my disc would have gotten damaged. I never take it out of the PS3!
@Thorin Cain - That photo of your Dino climbing the hill at Spa looks awesome! 👍
I don't know exactly what it is. It's not the most photo-realistic shot that I've seen from GT6, but it's not bad either. It's semi-photoreal... There's something about the framing of the shot. I don't know if @Thorin Cain did this intentionally or not, but the camera is setup so the viewers eye follows the long straight away after turn 1, leading up to Eau Rouge. Then, you see just how sharp the right hand Raidillion turn is leading the car up the hill. What the image captures is gorgeous - even more so if you know what it all represents and the driving difficulty contained in this snapshot.I Agree 👍

Thanks guysI Agree 👍
It was a little less real looking than I would have liked I wanted to keep the focus on the car itself (F=2.0, focused on the passenger seat headrest) and use a low-ish shutter speed to get some sense of speed (125th sec) I feel the car stands out a bit better that way As for the framing of the shot, you got it spot on 👍 I had originally set it up to look down the straight along the centre of the shot. But moved the camera slightly to have the valley between the two hills in the background right in the centre.I don't know exactly what it is. That's great news ALB 👍After all that, it seems I just had a bad disc. I bought a new copy of GT6 at Gamestop for $15 today. I've driven several different cars on several different tracks. No problems to report. Geez...
Yes, my friend, we'll run it without ballast this time and in a future event, with the ballast added. 👍Dino with 200kg ballast and Comfort Softs is just great(ARBn dampers modded), really worth of trying when just want to enjoy driving. Laps 2:53 at Spa.
@danbojte says rules, so far preparing to go 0 ballast Sports Hard.

Thanks BG.
