My condolences to your wife and you, take the time you need to support her in this time of need.

For the second part of your message, let me help you get rid of those cow webs in your head, can you tell me from what time you are free tomorrow, we could have a little fun with the Swift, maybe get a few others to join, I should be able to find the time if I can prepare for it :).
Thank you, Fran. 👍

I'm available from 16:00 GMT.

I could go for a run at 8:00AM Montreal time, which should be 12:00GMT, if I made the right conversion .
Will see you there.
Can I bring my Thing?

I have been at my remote cabin w/o wifi since last race lol but really GR guys! you motivated me to get faster. I have a new Thrustmaster T300 i just bought...its smooth and feels great, its almost feeling like a PC racing sim now! I first learned to race growing up w/ gt2,gt3,gt4... and then i used my gt experience to help me race local events. I figured out that I can use the same gt6 driving principles and my reactions and recovery are similar IRL (except gt's tuning & alignment). And now i own an imported RWD Rb26 powered R32 Skyline which i will be using for upcoming SCCA events (after i get a roll cage & etc) and driving Backwards in the taco bell drive through . That's why GT6 is my favorite game. i am getting used to it. It's almost like i am learning to drive again. its a way big difference using wheels haha. the only difficult thing is that you can't feel the "squishy hydraulic feeling" during the brake. I hope the future will have simulated pedal feedback. im thinking about making the pedal have stiffer compression or a spring mod.
your lap times were at least 2 to 3 seconds faster. i got down to a 209 lap, average was around 2:11.
have you guys done a nurburgring event yet?
i love endurance racing there. i feel i might actually be competitive too lmao. last race at motegi i felt like a noob haha i have barely racee that track... but it was fun. also sry about the rolling start mistake... ive never done that before.
but really i enjoyed it and i have been practicing alot with CS tyres... they actually handle pretty good...funny thing too, the more practice i do, i feel like i forget they are CS tyres, in my mind im racing w/ sports soft tyre lol so i guess that's good.

It's good to hear these, @BadgerVadge . 👍

Lucky you 👍, hope you like using your new wheel, I've read of a few companies that make mods for the pedals, basically they change the springs to make it stiffer. Maybe if I'm a good boy I'll get one someday as a fathers day present .

As for the drivers here, a few use wheels and a few use the good old PS3 controller, I know @Thorin Cain , @Brewguy44 and myself use the controller, and I think @RMan72 does also, I'm pretty sure @danbojte , @OdeFinn and @ALB123 use a wheel, maybe they can help you set it up. Don't worry about your lap times, my first time here I was way in back :ouch:, I've been trying to get more consistent, instead of over pushing I take it at a safer pace, and it's given some decent results even though I'm not the fastest out there, ... yet . By eliminating my out off track excursions I've been able to stay relatively close to the pack and capitalize a few times by the mistakes the leaders make once in a while :odd:, just got to learn to keep cool when I'm being pursued  .

Hey @danbojte , I've done a few races with @RMan72 this morning and I found a 2 lap race would be perfect.

@RMan72 , can you tell me how you had that transmission on the VW setup, mine was completely useless for starts :banghead:, it would be fun that I didn't need someone to push me to get started , that was some good driving on your part, I think the Schwimwagen is a bit faster then the Kubelwagen, it was almost 30PP lower and almost ran the same times, as for the Sirion :D, ... Daihatsu (standard) =1 Volkswagen (Premium) =0. At the same PP I had to consistently slow down to not lose you in the back even though you are a faster driver, and I had no problems passing you when I was behind, going to keep that little monster .

Can't help on that with your stock pedals, when I was thinking (not anymore, coz g29) upgrading my G27 to T300 I would stay on my old G27 pedals with AP Electrix brake mod and my own moddings to it.

Setup for GT6 settings is earlier on this thread, nothing special than that.

Wow man thanks for that link, that guy is genius. I am definitely ordering one today it seems well worth the money.

my sweet '89 R32 GTS-t I just bought it like a month and a half ago, at a surprisingly great price through a Canadian importer, International Vehicle Importers. the good thing is it's already rb26 swapped! and oh yeah it sounds awesome... the bad part is it already has 79,000km but the new engine has 20km they said..idk how to convert to miles it's probably 50k miles haha. now is the time to buy skylines before they're way overpriced. i paid about 15 grand total...totally worth it but the registration and import fees was effin horrible though.
so far i just bought Coil Overs, a better LSD... and the cheapest rims i could find online. it looks great. but you see? at the car show last week? there's no snow or igloos in Alaska! haha . 24hrs of sunshine & it was 90 degrees F that day

the Previous owner put the GTR front clip/grille on which adds it all up for my taste lol

If you want to buy a R32 GTR your looking to start around 25 grand outside USA. then it goes up to 40 grand if its in the states for sale. Even though its a Rwd... it still has 4 wheel steering too. also my '91 3000gt also has the 4 wheel steering too hha i just love life too much now...
Nice car @BadgerVadge , it has soul. :). Enjoy it! 👍

Very nice car @BadgerVadge. I don't think I ever realized there was a rear window wiper on those cars!

Honestly, I was never really a fan of Skylines. I first heard about the Skyline around 1997-1998 (It was the R33). A friend of mine used to talk about them all the time. Back then, I didn't really care for the design/shape of the car. It's been so long, I can't even tell you exactly why I didn't like the look of them, but I didn't. I was in my early 20's and an idiot...I can admit that now. :D

I started warming up to the Skyline with the R34. Even though I personally think they look so similar to the R33, the front looks more aggressive to me and I can remember liking that a lot more back in the early 2000s. It's funny...Even with the arrival of the Nissan GT-R (R35), I wasn't really a fan. I thought it looked too big, too boxy. When I started seeing them in person, I started to like them more, but it was still a car that would never end up on my Top 20 list. It was actually this game that really turned me around on GT-R's...It'll never be in contention for my favorite car, but I would absolutely love to own one. :D Even the older Skylines...since getting into GT6, I have developed a new appreciation for the car AND it's looks. 👍

Hope you understand at you need a lot of modding if trying to install that brake mod on your T300 stock pedals, if you buy used G27 or G25 pedals and richmotech converter and pastore's brake mod it will work easier.
If money is not a problem then really suggest to do it.

AP Electrix brake mod plus minor tweaks with two extra springs it gives you feeling of normal car brake pedal. Personally more than happy with my brake, have been using it few years now and zero problems, no any signs of wear on it. Delivery time from AP is quite long, but worth of waiting. If more orders going on same time then delivery time reduces.

lol ok thanks for the info. moneys not a problem. i like investing in stuff i would use alot. right now I am currently in the Army National Guard doing Electrical Engineering so i know enough to get by. i am actually just thinking about buying the parts here and making it myself. but i need to know exactly what he did haja.

... but anyways, if all else fails... ill just buy a g27 pedal. and if that doesn't work ill get creative

There is lot information about this AP's brake mod on "hardware"-section on GTP, name and model of pressure sensitive pad what's used on it and more. Search from hardware section.

This reminds me my idea of just replacing original potentiometer with progressive one and adding some dampening on end of pedal movement. 21 step 10k progressive was on mind if remembering right, don't know size of T300 potentiometer resistance, multimeter and you know.
Using pressure pad makes resistance transition more fluid and enjoyable, preload springs to achieve smooth breaking on pedal movement area and stiffer rubber when on "end of movement", like I have done with my brake. It gives solid feel without any gaps or physical resistance changes on pedal movement, it just feels like on real car, smooth breaking is smooth on pedal and when brake pads are on discs you just can press them harder and get more braking, this is now what i get with this pedal.

This pack of springs have just right springs for adding excellent preload on ap brake mod
