I'm not getting any luck finding specs from Paul's Supra. It always shows specs from the one from the older movies.

@Ridox2JZGTE You should see the 15 browser tabs I have open with your replicas that I still need to build! Bring on the new ones!

Within a day :) I will try to post at least 3 cars next time I play, the LFA Nurb, Audi TTRS and Nismo 370Z are priority.

Hey RIDOX you can do replic BMW M3 LIGHTWEIGHT E36. Only 7 cars on the world, thx

I will need to look into it first, any link to the car ?

It would be really hard to do as GT6 doesnt have an E36 M3 in it. Also, the number of examples is more like 126. There is not an exact number found. That and its based on the US spec M3:crazy:, it is still a dream of mine to own someday.

@Ridox2JZGTE Although, could you find some time to try and replicate the 2001-2002 BMW Z3M Coupe. Here is a link for some specs.

Oooh I can't wait for the LFA Nurbugring Package, the Audi & 370Z! :D 👍

I built that Mazda -- I am so not a fan of little front-wheel drive cars in this game.. It was a nice build. Ridox did a fine job with it. It's just a preference thing...

This is funny. I was just on the phone with my brother who has an X-Box One and Forza 5. I've explained to him how much of a difference tires make in GT6. I did a lap around Nordschleife with my '05 BMW M5 on CM tires. Then I ran a lap with SS tires. 50 seconds faster with the SS tires!! Unreal... :yuck:

Just realized that, no E36 in GT6 :grumpy: Will look for Z3M data :)

That is actually possible, CM would be medium/high priced road tires ( just below the ultra performance summer tires ) and SS is much closer hard compound racing slick. 55 seconds at green hell, 20+km track, that would be about right. If you run a car at Tsukuba with road tires ( CM ) then run again with SS tire, you would shaved seconds of your lap time. The Honda NSX-R ( NA1 ) on street tire did 1:06.01 and with S tires ( semi slick ), it did 1:03.29 at Tsukuba IRL. That would be similar to CS vs SM/SS

I need your help @Ridox!! I am getting killed on this week's Expert Level Seasonal Event. I can't believe it. I've NEVER had trouble like this on a Seasonal Event - well, not in about a year, after I finally learned how to drive cars in GT6. I am doing terrible! Please, run the event if you can - and then give me a good tune... PLEASE!! :banghead:

What track or restriction ? I haven't been online yet :(

I'm done for the night. The closest I came was with a Suzuki GSX-R and I HATE using that car. I was still like 6-7 seconds behind the leader. I swear, no matter what car I've used, the AI can just pull away from me. Once you pass the first few, then they tend to fall behind. But if you tap an AI car it takes off like a rocket for the rest of the lap. Yet, the AI is so freakin' dirty in this event, it's disgusting.

Oh, thanks, there are quite a few 550PP range cars in the garage, but they are not set for track like Cote De Azure. I just read on the seasonal thread, AI is on Beast mode when you passed them :scared: Will need a very quick corner carver, maybe KTM X bow :)

@ALB123 &
@Ridox2JZGTE

What you guys say about the difference in laptimes on different tyres can be transferred over to our travels on public roads too.
I've had family & friends ask me for advice when it comes time to replace worn out rubber on their everyday cars. I explain to them that some people throw crazy amounts of money at their suspension & brakes but still cut corners when it comes to spending money on tyres. Sure, all three components work together to control the car but it is ultimately the tyres that are in contact with the road.
Budget tyres = budget performance.

ALB123 regarding the Seasonal, have you considered the LCC Rocket? I can't think of a circuit/car combo better suited to one another.

Tire is the most basic and best bang for the buck upgrades on any car :) The next step is simple weight reduction like spare tires, rear seats, audio ( yeah those subs and amp ) For less unsprung weight, lighter wheels/rims and lighter coilover kits.

It's only a bit quicker than Spec C :) Did the ARB at 3 3 improve the car balance ?

Again nice and funny car to go, toke few laps before realised at I'm running on stock gearbox, then fun just started.. I need shoes, hurting my heel so decided to hurt clutch instead ;)

Not for the time, but for the fun:

@Pete05 I haven't tried the Rocket yet. I will today. I thought maybe I would pull it off with the GSX-R and I came in 3rd place! I was in 2nd for a split second and then the AI pushed me into the wall - I ended up bumping him from behind and he must have hit the nitrous because he took off like a rocket and I never had a chance at catching him again. I'm not positive, but I think the closest I've come so far is like 5-6 seconds behind 1st place. I will admit that I'm terrible on this track and I'm probably over-driving some corners because I'm finding myself plowing here and there, losing a ton of momentum. On my later attempts I was doing much better slowing down to a safe speed so I can carry good momentum through the turn and really power out of it. The way this is going, I may never Gold this event. I will be so upset.

If anyone is having success with the event, please tell me what car & tune you are using. I would really appreciate it.

Drift it Max orido style :D What do you mean hurt the clutch ?

I don't have nice race tunes, maybe one of the cars in bonus tunes in the OP can give a change to win ? The C7R perhaps ? or McLaren F1 650PP detuned ?

OMG! I actually won the Expert Level Seasonal Event! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D THANK GOD!!!! :D :D :D :D :D

I have to admit, I cheated a little bit...I turned on Active Steering to Strong. I used the Acura NSX-R Prototype LM Road Car. I'm not 100% proud of the way I did it, but at least I've got the paint chip and the 1st place trophy. Now I can turn it off and try to do it the right way. I almost turned on Traction Control (1) to see if that would help. Maybe I will later. I don't even want to think of this damn event right now.

I was just about to reply to your earlier message & then I scrolled down to this. Congratulations :) 👍

I was going to suggest jumping in the Rocket and doing a Free Run until you're confident in the track or you've worn a groove into it, whichever comes first
The thing I love most about the Monaco circuit is, the difference between ten tenths and putting it in the wall is, about 1 cm :scared:

Monaco is extremely challenging! Well, especially in this event - or in any event in which the AI doesn't just roll over and play dead like they usually do. I think a lot of us GT players, who are so used to the AI just being moving roadblocks, are finding this event difficult and getting frustrated. I shouldn't be able to just grab my wheel and go win "Expert Level" events on my first attempt. Granted, I think the way the AI behaves in this event is ridiculous, but at least it's difficult!! You're so right, @Pete05...if you want to set a fast time at Monaco you must be taking corners cm's from clipping the guardrails. Otherwise, you're losing time. My first half dozen attempts I was approaching the tight turns way too hot. I had to learn how close my car needs to be from crashing in order to find the fast line. I still consider myself a Monaco Rookie, but I have improved! :D 👍

I could write a whole wall of text about what is wrong with the AI in GT6 & that's without having played one seasonal event.
Instead, I'll just say this; it leaves a lot to be desired...

You don't play the seasonal events? How the heck do you earn credits? I hope you don't have to re-run Career Mode races constantly... The payouts are so much smaller. :grumpy: I feel for the you & your internet connection... :(

I'm not online so seasonals are out of the question :(
I don't miss the paint chips but the opportunity to win good prize money & cars when the chance arises is sorely missed when I hear about it.
Every $ I've earned has been from career mode. 83,864km so far with over 10% of that at Mount Panorama. I've made various little projects for myself to help retain my sanity & endure the games those AI play. Running-in all cars engines so that they are at 100% power ability, taking an underdog into the so called endurance races, testing gearboxes/aero configurations and other forms of lunacy  :dopey:

Last week, I had to meet Ridox at his European Headquarters in Barcelona, Spain. There were some discrepancies I wished to discuss with him on my recent monthly bill for his Consulting & Engineering services. We straightened out the matter like men, with an old fashioned arm wrestling match. I'd rather not discuss the outcome, but I would like to say that I think he jumped the gun!! The judge had only counted to two, not three...but that's not important.

We eventually made our way out onto Ridox's new 140 foot yacht where we smoked cigars, told each other lies about women neither of us had ever slept with, and opened up a bottle or five of some of the best wine I've ever consumed. When he told me the price of a single bottle I almost passed out. The Consulting & Engineering Services business must be doing very well! :P

After the umpteenth bottle of wine, I noticed that my shirt was completely unbuttoned and I had wrapped my tie around my head - like a drunken fool! Neither of us truly remembers who suggested it, but I noticed a revolver in front of me on the table and a wager was about to be made. Even though most of it is hazy, I do remember Ridox telling me that he was going to place one bullet in the chamber, spin it, and if I would put the gun to my head and pull the trigger twice, I could possibly walk away with a brand new SRT Viper Track Attack that he had parked back at his storage garage. I'm ashamed to admit this, but alcohol got the better of me that night. One of Ridox's personal assistants actually snapped a photograph of us in the middle of this wager:

The_Deer_Hunter_-_De_Niro_Russian_Roulette.png

Anyway, I'm here typing, so I might as well tell you how I enjoyed my brand new SRT Viper T/A!! :D

The car has gobs of power. I'm sure I didn't need to tell you that, but it feels so great how strong this car pulls. I actually think I preferred driving it on La Sierra with CS tires compared to SH tires. For some reason, I was getting a bit more understeer with the SH tires. I don't know if I was just pushing too hard, but it feels like I can turn in with the CS tires better, even hold a little throttle, whereas I must get off the gas pedal completely when using SH tires.

If you like a car that has a playful rear end, this is definitely a car you should build. Second gear, Third Gear, it doesn't matter...this Track Attack edition of the SRT Viper will kick that rear end out for you. With CS tires I was even getting sideways in 4th gear around La Sierra. But those were easily controllable drifts.

Standard brakes feel really good on this Viper. I found that I could stay on the throttle deep into braking zones and then firmly scrub my speed without upsetting the balance of the car.

I'll probably set up a few personal challenges with this car and the C7 Z06 that I have parked somewhere. I really need to keep better track of my cars.

Thanks for the Viper, Ridox!! But let's not make any more wagers for a while...Okay? I'm still waking up with nightmares from that night with you in Spain. 👍
