You know I built this a while ago don't you
. I was going to do one of my "magazine" reviews but couldn't really say much more about it than
@LeGeNd-1 said in his review
.
I decided to take it out on the new seasonals and see how it did in the heat of battle (Only ran about 50 miles of Andalusian asphalt ribbon in her previously
). Unsurprisingly the beginner level event at Autumn Ring mini offered up no real challenge...other than the usual "Big slow thing" moving slowly where the apex should be, that is
. The balance of the S2K club racer just let me drive round the outside of them with ease for the most part
. I developed a nice little rhythm with her here. The gear ratios worked perfectly and soon had me making a lovely soundtrack to accompany the cars dancing through the corner complexes. God, you gotta love that V-tech
.
I guess you would have to be either
, brave or
, to think of using it for the 550pp Intermediate race at Apricot Hill....wouldn't you. Thankfully I am, at least one of those
.
And did try anyway. Took a couple of attempts as I got into a little trouble the first time round, battling with the RUF early on
. But after having a decent remainder of a race and only losing out by about 1.5 seconds. The second race went a lot better đź‘Ť. I managed to cut through the field with ease, due to having the lighter, far better handling car. But for two idiots in Vipers fighting in front of me
and a 599 coming back on track after loosing a fight with Mr. Dean in his LFA
. Who I managed to catch with around a lap and a quarter to go.
After a tough fight to keep up with him in the straight, I made the pass out of turn 4/5 (left/right uphill turns đź‘Ť) only to loose the lead marginally before braking in the look, the again before the hairpin and again after the hairpin
(Damn that LFA goes some
) but the superior agility of Honda's finest was too much for the big heavy Lexus in the final chicane and the victory was assured as I exited the final corner flat-out....and weaved a couple of times to keep him guessing
. Took the win by 0.087
.
Absolutely stunning car to drive. A must have for any self respecting driver/racer/car lover
 (Massive Honda bias withstanding
) Awesome job mate
