Replica build based on BMW Motorsport Z4 GT3 with specs on VLN 24H Nurb, Blancpain and ADAC GT Masters.

BMW Z4 GT3 / GTE weight distribution = 50/50, only achievable in GT6 with 1300kg BOP spec VLN 24H GT3.

6 speed gearbox uses XTRAC 545 with a combination of X427 and X545 gear sets. The 6 speed ratio is tailored match to the 710 Z4 GT3 rear tires with 3.620 final for Nordschleife. The 1st to 4th gear can be replicated, while the 5th and 6th are closest possible. Highly recommend to use 3.910 Final for most tracks where top speed is not crucial.

Actual ratio used on VLN 24H Nurburgring :

1st 3.000
2nd 2.066
3rd 1.6875
4th 1.444
5th 1.277

140-60-220 - Installed -Highest Possible in GT6
140-60-240
Optional 200 : 20.40 kg/mm front springs can be used for lower speed / bumpy tracks.

Base Z4 GT3 setup 508HP/1190kg with Base camber, 3.910 Final, Base LSD and Base Aero. With no body rigidity and yellow chassis ( worn ) can achieve 2:00.2xx lap on cold tire at Silverstone GP, 1 tenth quicker then quickest real life lap time ever on BMW Z4 GT3. A 1:59s should be reachable.

With same setup, tested at Red Bull Ring : 1:30s, Brands Hatch GP 1:24s and should lap in less than 2 minutes at Nurburgring GP/F and less than 2:07s at Bathurst.

Replay for Silverstone GP lap at 2:00.2xx has been provided.

ENJOY

I imagine that I will have a ton of mileage in the new N24 TT in this gem.

Notes :

This is the replica of RALLIART / Test & Service Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X as it appear on Best Motoring in 2009/2010. The car in early appearance has stock power at 300PS and then have RALLIART engine upgrade to 330PS.

I used Car & Driver weight test on Evo X GSR at 1614kg, this is the middle value as some Evo X are weighted at 1650+kg and some at 1580+kg ( HKS Test Car ). Weight distribution range from 56.5/43.5 ( probably with premium audio  ) to 59/41 ( light modified with lighter exhaust, no rear seat, no sub/audio, lighter wheel and coilover ). I used 58/42 from the Car & Driver test GSR with 1614kg. The 58/42 also very close to HKS test car.

The RALLIART Evo X with 330PS has 7500rpm revlimit, so I have installed some rpm limit increase power part to reflect this. The stock 300PS has stock revlimit and no power part.

The suspension uses RALLIART Sports height adjustable coilover with special track spec stiff springs supplied by Eibach ( Eibach also used by FQ series but with already available Pro kit series which have much lower rate/softer ). Bilstein damper completes the package. The rates are high/stiff, tailored for smooth track surface, but still works on bumpier tracks. Front spring 10.72kg/mm and rear 8.04kg/mm with -40mm height drop from stock. The Evo X OEM alignment is used on the replica.

For transmission, 5 speed MT ratio is used, as it was in Japan. Gear ratio has been set accordingly, with 6th set to be obsolete. LSD uses RALLIART spec Super Traction LSD with high cam angle 2 way rear and 1.5 way medium cam angle front. I have also provided the RALLIART ACD/S-AYC tune for those who wanted to keep using the S-AYC :) 2 options, standard at 53 and aggressive at 70. The Super Traction LSD were optional part from RALLIART. The twin plate clutch also has been used to reflect the RALLIART Super Direct Twin Plate on the 5 MT. The 6 speed SST already used twin plate clutch from factory.

The base RALLIART with 300PS did 1:06.676 at Tsukuba in Best Motoring Time Attack ( can be done with CS ), while 330PS in 2010 300+PS EURO vs JDM session time attack managed 1:03.896 ( SH in GT6 )

UPDATE : Added 2 separate transmission setup for stock power and 325HP power.

Finally got to try out cars, studying in Hong Kong is really as challenging as that of getting 7:24 with Aventador at Nurb...tests after tests like there's no end to them.:P

Back on topic,I have just driven the LFA and LP-570,and one thing I have to say,I now feel kind of skeptical about my skills.Driving them makes me feel like I am going too slow, yet I don't seem to be able to make a breakthrough,so now help would be much appreciated!!!!

My result after some time are as follow:
LFA
Bathrust:2:25:511 after 12 laps

LP-570 with heavier weight
Tsukuba:1:02 after 30 laps
Nurb:7:34 after 5 laps

I seldom used cars with weight above 1500kg,and this may be the reason for the lack of confidence.Well,I can't really determine now.:$Guys, please give some advice!!!!!

Edit:Just tried out the gt academy round 2,and finally got 1:25.Share your results too;)!

@ChauMing803 I'm not currently in front of my PS3, so I'll have to look for my times later...but I wanted to comment to your post while my thoughts were fresh. It doesn't take much for me to completely forget what I wanted to say if I wait to say it.

I, too, sometimes find it quite difficult and somewhat upsetting when driving Ridox replicas that have proper weight & distribution. To me, weight is the single most difficult attribute to control in GT6. For those of us who aren't lucky enough to drive supercars on a regular basis, we just have to hope that GT6 physics correctly interpret weight transfer. Still, it absolutely blows my mind how much heavier cars will slide from one edge of the track to the other in the blink of an eye.

I happen to be obsessed with Lamborghinis. Yet, driving the Ridox replica builds of the Aventador and Aventador SV tend to be frustrating because those cars are not the 1500kg cars that GT6 says they are. They're actually much heavier and Ridox has built the cars to real life weight specifications. So, now I'm pushing 1800+kgs around the Nurburgring at crazy speed and it becomes 100 times more difficult to keep that car on the track AND post a respectable time. Using realistic tires, I still haven't been able to match the real life Nordschleife lap times of those cars and it bums me out big time!

I'm looking for as much realism as I can out of GT6. Do I think Ridox's cars are 100% perfect representations of the real world cars? No...but, I think they're much closer than the cars that come out of the dealership and I think he does as good a job as he can with the limited tools and settings available in GT6. The only advice I can give you is the same thing I tell myself over and over. Practice. Keep practicing and then practice some more. Slow in...fast out. I tend to overdrive a lot of corners and then end up plowing through them which totally kills my lap times. On a track like the Nordschleife, I might make that mistake 10 or 15 times - I can never put together a perfect lap on a course that big. It's frustrating, but that's part of what makes it so much fun in my eyes!! 👍

@Ridox2JZGTE Look at your hard work!
image_20.jpg

The base ADAC tune was that time. I need to have a go with the VLN base tune though. It might be possible. 5 seconds around the N24 circuit is like a blink of the eye.

EDIT: I just did 2 laps in the SP9 tune and ran a 8:40.7xx first lap, then I ran a 8:35.1xx second lap clean, but with a couple of mistakes. I think I can probably find another 5-6 seconds once I clean up my lines. The SP9 is so much more stable on exit than the ADAC car.

That is very nice time :)

Just building this car now. The transmission settings you posted i couldn't get them to match for this set up. Do i use stock transmission?

You can use stock 6 speed in the mean time. Did you use the stock power or the 330PS version ? I will check it again :)

Hi Ridox

Is any of Yours Toyta 86 based on Ft-86 G?. I'm intrested of the suspension and drivetrain sections, just to see Your approach to settings.

I built both versions mate. I have the 295bhp version in my tuning sheet A & the 325bhp version in tuning sheet B.
The transmission settings you posted match the 325bhp version but i couldn't get 4th gear to match with the 295bhp version as the numbers don't go that high. 👍

I have edited the post earlier, it should have the base power transmission setup, it uses lower top speed :)

like the ones made of metal not black based on the picture you had.
I see, I will check it when play next time and update it.

I don't have the car yet, it is a concept right ? It should drive well with setup used on GT86 :)

Have you ever thought of taking the RUF's and turning them into Porsche replicas? Like, take the RUF RGT '00 and turn it into a 2000 Porsche 911 (996 spec)? You could do 911 Turbo's, Carrera's & GT3's! :D I know it kind of stinks because of the RUF body panels...

EDIT: OMG...Nevermind. You already have! And I've already built the 996 GT3 Cup car... OMG I'm mentally ill.

There was a request long ago for a Porsche, can't remember the model, but it used RUF BTR as base, it had lots of power and basically insane car to handle even on racing tires. It was still a early stage build, lots of issue needs addressing.

Notes :

Bugatti Veyron, the sign of wealth, pride and power of it's owner. This replica is the closes rendition that I could achieve in GT6. With power and weight based on several test report/article from Car & Driver.

The weight/distribution is based on 2008 Car & Driver Veyron test, while power are available in 2 option. The official power at 1001PS and the claimed actual engine power as stated by the Bugatti Technical Director with power ranging from 1020-1040PS from factory. I used the upper ceiling limit of 1040PS.

Veyron is heavy and powerful, thus the suspension is the weakest link if not tuned properly. I couldn't not find exact specs of the springs other than the brand, so I have to make do with turning it myself. I settled for conservative value to reflect the real car set for comfort/luxury and still able to perform like a supercar should. There are 3 different modes in the real car, each have different ride height and damper profile to suit their purpose. Normal mode for normal city driving with soft damper setup, Handling mode for sports driving at the track or street with stiffer damper and Top Speed mode for the sole purpose of top speed run, lowest ride height, damper set to similar to handling mode.

Gear ratio has been fixed this time as GT6 is totally wrong with the final gear and top speed at revlimit. So I adapted 2 final drive this time, the base is based on calculated top speed at revlimit reflecting the real life car test result. While the other final is the actual final drive value when calculated based on final drive and transfer gear ratio, or I will simply call it the effective final drive of the real car. Strangely the actual final is a bit off in GT6 when driven, a bit too short. The benchmark of the real car is 242mph at 6th on revlimit ( 6600RPM ) and 253mph at 6250RPM in 7th / top gear. It's your choice to be accurate to real life speed limit, stick to 2.484 final or be accurate to the real car final, 2.584. Not much difference in performance, but I highly recommend the base final 2.484.

For LSD, the real car has front open diff arrangement and rear with active LSD. I set the replica in similar way, I tuned the rear LSD to give the rear more active role in rotation while still giving optimum traction. The Veyron can be driven to induce mild progressive oversteer by feeding the throttle harder as you exit, similar to the way it behave in real.

The Veyron was tested at Tsukuba and Bathurst. When driven at Tsukuba, the Veyron with official power at 1001PS and Handling mode, CS tire, capable of 59.6s lap  Replay has been included for reference or ghost.

Congratulations on this little beauty becoming another Tune Of The Week for you :) 👍
I guess all the hard work, hours & research you put into your builds makes it worthwhile when it's recognized. I know you don't do it for the glory but I'd like to thankyou for sharing

@Ridox2JZGTE , well my congratulations for the tune of the week , very well deserved my friend and hope you have many more 👍.

Thank you  Truly grateful for the vote and appreciation. Now I feel bad for not posting more cars :scared: Got so many waiting :( Still haven't got the chance to test the 300SL, which I'm certain could be the next tune of the week :P
