There's alot of 450PP cara here, I spent over 500.000 credits on buying and upgrade the cars and still didn't manage gold on the FF TT.

Fit RS, Civic EG6, Focus ST, Mazda Demio, R52 Mini, Nissan Micra/March, etc. All the FF 450PP i could find and still i can't manage gold, best i could do was 2:25.5XX...

 You started over? Are you feeling alright? :odd: Not running a temperature or haven't bumped your head
I haven't deleted my progress or lost my data like poor @joaosoarescso :( But I just fancied running back through the career races and treating it like a new game...without having to do the licences again :sly: Sorry Joa :guilty: I think I'll benefit from doing it again without the aids and in more underpowered cars than I did before 👍

Hey Ridox. I built myself a little shopping list a little while ago and I've been picking up a few every now and then
I just did a little more now :) As you know I'm focusing a bit more on the driving again. The loss of ABS was a lot smaller an issue than I thought 👍 But the changing to AT has been a bit more of a challenge, one I'm enjoying a lot :) So I decided to start over and work my way back up, and re-started the career races. I'm treating my progress as if I've got to get the most use out of each car and buying a new one if I need to. I even decided the car needs to win the right amount of money to cover any upgrade I decide to install before I do :) I plan to have a lot of fun with this 👍 I had the anniversary cars and a cool Million in the bank to begin with :D so I saved a good amount of credits. I think the old way was more fun :)

As I'm starting over I'm going for some good old favourites and rolling out anything with a big "H" on the front and most definitely anything with a red "R" on the tail :D I'm also looking for alternatives to run against them all the way up to the motoring perfection that is the NSX-R. I finally got round to trying out theHONDA LA-NA2 3.2 NSX-R / Type R 2002:bowdown: Such balance, need I say more :sly: Tsuchiya-san did make some interesting modifications to his :D I really like his style. And he stays  too 👍

So I picked up a
CUSCO Mitsubishi FTO GR '94 220PS RIDOX ver.I used FTOs a lot back in the older days but not really used them much in this one so I thought it could be fun to have around :)

Are there any other FF's you'd recommend from your collection to try and tame Type-R twins?

Thanks for giving interest on the cars :P I'm very busy these days, still not yet play GT6 since last week :(

I would say give the HKS Accord a try, and the Online Race tune ( FF cars like Nissan March, Mini Cooper S and Honda CRZ ), they are 450PP online race tune which should work well on current Ascari 450PP seasonal.

:( Maybe the OP FF car like Integra DC5 or Civic Type R could do it, try the TODA Racing Civic FD2 or the BTCC Mugen Civic FD2, both needs to be detuned to 450PP. There is also the VW Scirocco Cup Racer ( KW Competition ), car no46 under bonus tunes.

Oh ok. I thought you'd wiped the whole game & restarted from scratch!
Commiserations @joaosoaresco
I lost all my GT4 data thanks to an untimely power blackout as I was saving progress & had to start all over again. To say I was seriously unimpressed is an understatement of the highest order.
A lot of wood got chopped that day.

Thanks Joa. The March and Demio should do nicely:cheers:

Sorry to hear you've been so busy :( Thanks for the suggestions:tup: I'm sure I've got the TODA Racing FD2 somewhere already and the Mugen Civic I have on my list already :) The Scirocco cup Racer sounds good, I've barely used any of the Sciroccos, It definitly needs a little love, thanks for that:cheers: Car no.46 on the list too!? Seriously!? That's pretty ironic

Oh, no. I can't be dealing with that again. I lost all GT5's data just after finishing the Tsukuba 4hr race when my old PS3 decided it was too old :ouch: That loss was bad enough and I was still only using stock cars at the time. I'd loose my mind it if I lost my GT6 save data :scared:

Oh, just seen this
I had great time and wins yesterday on Intermediate Seasonal with these two FFs:

69. FORD Focus ST 2014 Streets of Willow April 2014 MotorTrend Head 2 Head Test Replica 252HP 431PP Comfort Medium

70. FORD Focus ST 2013 Replica 252HP 431PP Comfort Medium

Edit: On Comfort Soft tyres.:D
Thanks Dan

What track are you talking about @joaosoarescso? Maybe I can offer some advice...

Asacari... the 450PP TT. I can keep up with you for the half of the track, after the sharp right hairpin, you take off like a rocket and your name slowly fades away,

In the TODA racing civic (FD2) i can manage solid 2:26, if i push more than that I go straight in the first chicane, and end up off track in the grass. At the last section of the track on top of the hill/banked section when you are on 4th/5th gear turning and you have to go on the outside, brake and keeping turning... i go plow some weeds.
I still haven't tried the more handling version of the TODA's Civic

If i try to use racing brakes, the car's bite is more precise but can lock quickly, or pull the car to one side which I have to ease up and i passed the braking point.

With the "Green Meanie Fuktion" Focus ST, its really fun, the car can get sideways easily, which saved me in a couple laps before but ended up doing 2:36/7 laps.

The Mazda Demio is the most balanced car i drove there, and the R52 Mini feels slow but I was quite surprised.

The Honda FIT RS is very front heavy which I have to brake alot, and have lots of understeer... i might pull the ballast more the rear and increase the gearbox a little bit without sacrificing the acceleration.

Then I thought the J'Racing/Mfactory EG6 Civic would do it cuz of VTEC lol. But still to short...

All of these with ABS at 0.

I still haven't tried the scirrocco cup racer detuned neither the Mugen Civic detuned as well.

I haven't tried both focus @danbojte manage gold with

And the funny thing is, i haven't done any other seasonal lol

Ah okay. I thought you might have been talking about Ascari. Honestly, I just kind of drive straight thru that chicane with just a slight wiggle of my steering wheel in each direction of the turn. Try to aim a line straight through the 3 concrete portions of the quick double chicane and just go for it!! 👍 I know you had to start over completely, but if this happens to be a car you are interested in (you can win this car for free from last week's seasonal event!), here is the tune that I used to run this week's Ascari event:

Good luck!

I finally did it!!! I freaking did itt!!!!! Thanks for the tips alot, but it wasn't the GTI who didn't bring it home, @Ridox2JZGTE own Mugen Civic detuned to 450PP, the car is a winner irl and in this event,

Oh man . The post was for @joaosoarescso My fault, sorry. :embarrassed: :)

Lol its ok lol

Man...I'm beat. I've been driving Ridox's Yellowbird around La Sierra. While it's nowhere near as challenging a course as Nordschleife, the length wears you out. Once you start getting complacent you'll find yourself sliding almost sideways at 100+ MPH! :D

If anyone has free time, would you mind doing me a favor and run Ridox's Lamborghini Murcielago around Suzuka 2014 and tell me what you're averaging for lap times? Don't spend an hour perfecting your pace tho...I just want to see how others do with a casual session. It's a piggy-piggy of a heavy car, of course, but I feel like I'm just not driving this thing well at all. Right now, after 4 laps, my best lap time is 2:26.294...

The tune is here: https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/thre...vrspeed12-veyron.294814/page-77#post-10461605

And it's the Best Motoring LP640 '07 that I'm driving @ 545PP. I'm just curious if I completely suck with this car or what... Oh, I'm running low camber at 1.0/1.0 and I have both optional softer dampers installed at the moment.

I ran 2 more laps. My best time was: 2:24.543...both laps were in the 2:24's...

I'd be more than happy to go for a drive & share the results with you but I'm on Uncle duty

:)

That's really cool, Pete... Right on! 👍 I have no children of my own and my older brother is never going to have children either, so I'll never be an uncle.
:guilty:
I thought the same until I got the news... :D
My brother is 3 years younger than me.

@danbojte I don't know if you saw my post above with my concerns about my driving ability with my beloved Murcielago... if you have any time over the next few days or weeks, do you think you could run 5-6 laps with the settings I mentioned? I don't expect to be as fast as your times, of course, but I hope I am not terribly far behind your lap times.

Sure @ALB123, my pleasure. :) Will do. 👍
I don't buy your game with underestimating yourself anymore. :P
I saw you driving and I like it alot. 👍

Oh, I still have a LONG way to go before I catch up to people like yourself, Ridox, OdeFinn and RMan... I have not had the pleasure to see Pete05 drive, but I have a feeling he's more on your level than mine. I'm decent, I think. I'm better with certain cars and/or tracks -- I'm not completely well-rounded and I need to work on lots of things. However, this situation with the Lamborghini Murcielago... In my OP I did state that I know it's a very heavy car and perhaps I'm NOT driving poorly, necessarily, but rather just getting what I can out of a heavy, understeering-prone car. It feels like I'm not driving the car quite so well, but that's why I want others to run the same settings as me, just to prove to me one way or another, is it my driving to blame or the car?

EDIT: I forgot to say "Thank you!" for offering to run a few laps around Suzuka. Again, don't kill yourself spending lots of time perfecting your driving with that car on that track. I'd rather compare my 5-6 laps with others 5-6 laps. With 20 laps, I'm sure we can all get better.
