RIDOX REPLICA GARAGE

This will be the place where I will share my replicas, all of the replicas made will be done without any aids, this means, no brake assist, no TC, no ASM, no SRF, nothing

Kei Office S14 Zenki was driven by Dori Dori to demonstrate the basics of drifting, the car was not purpose built for drifting, it was a mild modified street car that can be driven hard at the track - either grip or drift. It was fitted with Yokohama GP M7 tire which is similar to comfort medium. Feel free to use higher grip tire for chasing lap time. For drift, comfort medium is the recommended tire for this tune. The car was tested and tuned at Big Willow and Bathurst. The tune is built to give driver confidence in high speed sweeping corners and agility in tighter turns, it can understeer when pushed too hard due to the fitted street tire, ease off the throttle to get the nose back in

The famous powerful MR2 GTS in the 90's, ZEEK tuned MR2 GTS packs a lot of punch, with 400PS/325 ft lb torque and lean body. The car was raced in Best Motoring Super Battle against Ferrari F40, Lamborghini Diablo, Venturi Challenge 400, RUF BR2, Porsche 964 RSR, Honda NA1 NSX R, and Nissan Skyline BNR32 GTR. I tried my best to replicate power and torque, suspension are the result of over 400km of test and tuning at various tracks ( Tsukuba, Bathurst, Brands Hatch GP, Big Willow ) Tune drives well on comfort soft, higher grip tires should work great.

IMPORTANT :

Never do sudden lift off the throttle in mid corner or entry Trail brake on entry with some throttle if the rear unsettled, precision and smooth steering is mandatory with this car. Get the steering, throttle and brake spot on, enjoy great entry, mid corner and exit speed. The car is tuned to glide out slow corner with almost neutral rear, throttle steer smoothly With that said, this car requires dedication and practice

J's Racing S2000, one of my favorite build, the car has immense grip even on comfort soft, I got David vs Goliath Trophy driving the car to win in Tuned Car Festival IB event. The car is tuned in the way that the driver needs to be in total control of the car at all times, smooth steering, braking and throttle are a must. Avoid curb and grass, these will unsettled the car greatly. The real car has a lot more stiffer spring rate at 20kg/mm all around, but the GT6 version is still a bad boy at close to 15kg/mm
Raced and tested at Apricot Hill, Bathurst, Cape Ring Full, Brands Hatch GP, and Tsukuba. Enjoy the Honda GRIP MACHINE

UPDATE :

Use the power limiter to reduce power to 280PS ( the J's F22C tuned engine ranged from 280 to 320PS - depend on tuning stage )

Tune updated to get closer to real life spec, it might be more extreme to drive now

UPDATE 1.04 : Improved damper, LSD initial preload and increased ride height by 10mm to improve stability.

UPDATE 2016 Dec : Updated camber/toe ( using typical real life alignment for track racing ), ARB tweaked to suit. Added optional final drive 5.000 for low/med speed track. Tested at Trial Mountain and Deep Forest with 5.000 final. Able to lap 1:41s on CS tire at Trial Mountain, replay included.

I only have around an hour or two to play GT6 everyday, didn't do the glitch, so credits are slow to come in, have to plan my expenses. Be sure to give the 1st tune a go, feel free to use your own preferred brake balance and tire combo.

Updated my ZEEK MR2 GTS tune

The edit part is for experiment on tracks with differing road conditions ( smooth/flat or bumpy ) the ARB, camber and toe stays the same.

If you watch the drift bible video - midway, you'll see the car has low ride height ( dropped ) and has big camber front and back, it must have custom suspension setup - it has Nishizao SPL Coil Over kit installed.

If you try to add camber or toe adjustment to the car IRL. It'll snap. You can use the S13 rear suspension setup though (I think it's called IRS or something). Just watched the video and seems like the rear was positive camber meaning zero. The coilovers actually doesn't change the design of suspension design (like..you still can't do rear adjustments on the 4-live solid axle design). Me and few friends been doing an AE86 physics project in rFactor so reason why I'm getting into the technical stuff

I read that back in the day, the AE86 racer in Japan bent the housing to get rear camber up to 4 degrees.

I checked the video again, and this :

Does it look like a negative camber ?

Now I am confused

After some careful observation the front seems to have slight toe out, will have to test and tune again
