Thing is, I still don't exactly understand what you meant by what you said...and don't scold me for not knowing now, because if you do, my period out of RKM will be a long one if this argument rages too far.

Well... I can get away with it for the most part as he knows I'm entirely joking but C-ZETA's been running his mouth a bit too much of late and it gets a bit grating.

As in my quote towards you? It was just based on the fact that since Roj never came (for reasons I still don't fully know) I was hoping I wouldn't be unable to do this again.

Yeah, I know there are such things as jokes that would apparently turn into outright insults. Aaaaaaaannnnndddd since you're the guys running the thread... I'd might as well take the responsibility you told me, provided that RKM cools down a bit.

That V16T is a shocker! I always hated that car as the first time I drove it in a online race I must've crashed it about 50 times and finished about 2 hours after everyone else :lol:, so due to that when I seen the tune I thought, nah, can't be annoyed with that one :lol:, just plucked up the courage and bashed in the numbers and my god what a surprise!

Drives so nice now, turns in effortlessly and the back end is easy to keep in control and very easy to kick out to if you want to make some smoke :D Great fun now, thank you :D

This seems familiar...oh wait! It was me, back when I got the V16T as a prize car :dopey: used to think exactly the same thing before I dug it out and tuned it! And it certainly does make a lot of smoke, doesn't it? :D

Normally i dont have any luck with big German super-sedans, so naturally i wasnt attracted to it. But i was pretty bored so this is how it went. For a start the car looks mean as hell, i tested it on spa de francorchamps due to the car's powerful nature, and to be honest with you RJ it was decent! the only thing i couldnt stand was the mid-corner understeer because it entered the corner so gracefully sliding in just enough so you can get perfect mobility from the car (because its heavy it would've been quite awkward and un-sightly to see stumbling through the corners) once the entry has ended and you have reached mid-corner this is when oversteer's evil twin arrives...understeer :(...it ruins the whole balance of the car forcing you to hold back on the 660bhp you have under that carbon fiber hood. BUT if the understeer wasnt there i'd be entering backwards at 200+MPH you know what i mean? you have to make sacrifices with the car, by sticking to the apex like glue which surprisingly slingshots you out of the corner like a rocket. The shear power of the car is scary. at first i thought i had set the gears up wrong because it was ripping through the gears like a drag car! and it must be one of the decent sounding cars left in GT5 with its crazy engine! i love this car RJ. Yes it has its faults but everything does! (Even Roj's 3rd anniversary!) RJ i know your pushed for time mate but instead of tuning another car, could you update the M5 to spec II? because maybe the understeer wasnt there when you first tuned it! i know this review might not be enough, but i did done a couple more in the past :) Thanks RJ

I'm not sure what you mean...

Do you mean you want to simulate the car having a 43:57 weight distribution when it's something else?

It's not really possible to "fake" weight distribution with suspension settings, sadly, though if you have a certain car you want something else to handle like (so long as they're reasonably similar) I could try to do that.

The understeer was there before, though perhaps not the same amount as now. I've found some cars have gotten more oversteery and others have gotten more understeery with Spec II with nothing else really in common, but I'm willing to bet the M5 is one of those cases where it's gotten a bit more push. That said, there will always be a certain amount of mid-corner "push" in it just due to the fact it's long. Longer cars will always push a bit more on center... Though I will be taking a look at it soonish. Also worth noting that race tires will actually exacerbate the feeling of understeer, the car will corner faster but increased grip on the same setup generally means more understeer.

i was using sports soft, and i think the understeer was there at high speeds because when i took it to the "Ring" in the section with lots of tight corners the car handled amazingly like a fighter jet or something!? i think it was the High-Speed corners that scared the M5 into its understeer :)
