Tuner Comments:
Surprisingly fast and wonderfully agile, the Superautobacs MR-S is one bright blur on the horizon. Retaining all it's original equipment and only undergoing technical changes, this already fast little car get's even faster. Stability and traction are great, and although things get decidedly squiggly if you plant it out of second, it's otherwise got fantastic cornering too. It's like a rubber ball, you just throw it at things...it's also brightly coloured and is likely to put someone's eye out.

Please note that you may choose to fit a mid or high RPM turbo, but we ain't responsible for shredded tyres and bruised bumpers.

i love this tune it make it feel like a mix between a go kart and a racing car

Actually, online races do count mileage but not to break in the engine. Not sure if that's what you meant, but that's what I noticed.

My GT-R Black has 180 miles but no break-in power ):

Also, the Golf is awesome so I must try that tune. Although I'll limit myself to 500pp.

I did a 15+ minute race online and gained absolutely nothing from it...but whatever, still an awesome car! :D

Glad to hear you like it :D

Are you sure?

Online races to my knowledge do break in engines though the last actual race I did was in a car where it wouldn't be noticed, so it may have changed since 2.02. Free run does not count mileage or wear at all.

Yes I am sure, I've tried several cars. Ever since 2.02, racing online doesn't give break-in a car but it does add mileage. :grumpy: 👍

Its 6.45 in the morining and im going to pick up my new puppy today :D
So i wont have any time to play today i think :P I will try the suspension settings from the Golf R maybe tonight.

Also im hoping for the R33 TC and 270R setups :D

Hey, RJ, I know you were tuning a Mustang, so can you give me some hints as to how to make it 'not a pig' (as you said in the room when I saw you test it.)? If you don't know, the current posted tune is running full power on SS tyres. :D

I'm retiring my old Illest JDM Hellaflush Stanced To Frig Z32 seasonal drift car. Yes that's its official name. I'm going to start using a GT86 instead. So since I don't have a photomode thread and posting in the drift forum is like taking a holiday to Iraq, I'm doing an image dump here. :D Enjoy my fail drifting. :sly:

"We don't do drift tunes." :dopey:

We really don't, I'm using a variation of the settings from Z-Spec. :D

Stopped reading there and just pissed myself laughing. But it is fact though, so yea, quoted for truth too. But !

Golf R does gain power after racing online, I know, mine was gaining about 1pp per race after last night's session.

It didn't after the first race I tried it in a few days ago, but after a few more miles the break in started and it slowly but surely gained a little every race - approx 16ish miles per race.

GOLF R tune - Dragon

Feels great, but suffers front tyre wear, fronts heat up (and wear) quicker than the rear.

A trick I use for setting up 4WDs is to run race distance then de tune the 'front end' (sacrifice turn in and speed) but saving tyres for consistent laps and stability. The fastest lap might be reduced, but race distance and consistency can improve as there won't be such a huge difference in front end grip (from first to last lap).

Hope to see you again soon.

Happy Xmas to all at RKM too :D

Yeah.

The drag forum is pretty bad too, but Mafs can keep the kiddies from rioting. :D

Actually to be honest it's not so happy rainbows and sunshine over here either, but usually it's quite peaceful. :dopey:
Actually Roj, to a fellow amateur drifter's eyes (yes, that's me), your drifts are pretty decent.
Why thank you. :embarrassed:
Happy Xmas to all at RKM too :D

Merry Christmas Highlandor!

Merry Christmasu! :lol::cheers:

I'll save any future greetings for Christmas itself with a picture or something. Cut the amount of reply posts down.

If he's awake, he can, otherwise, its pretty much all guns blazing with the occasional sweary rant to get Doc and the mods worked up.

But here, it's at least some fun, whereas over there, you get slaughtered for merely questioning someone's technique of tuning. :scared:

Oh, and not that I'm plugging my tune or anything, but here's what I do/did in the high speed ring drifting seasonals. :D

And some pics of what I got up to in Dragonthing's MR2.

^^ Yup, review to come soon after. :D
Now, so that RJ still sees my question, here it is again.

Bwaaaaah! Another person reviewing my MR-S! I never thought it was such a popular car, if I'm honest, I just love it because it's cute, bright, loud, and it reminds me of my tuned up TOM'S MR-S from back in the Forza 3 days :dopey: mine was orange and white back then, too...

True that.

Over here, you simply say "GT5 HAS REVERSED SUSPENSION LAWLZ I IS GENUIS AT TUNING" and you end up with a 50 page thread full of the usual suspects.

So you do burnouts on the main straight? A'ight, coo'. :P
Must try out the 86 tune...
You must. Then you must fight ryangt to see who is the best Ryan.

Is there a list of any peculiarities about the gt5 tuning system posted somewhere? i knew in the past there was some issues with front/read ride height working in counter intuitive ways

that was before the 2.0 patch and im not sure if they fixed that

anyone know? searching for this kind of thing is pretty tough

thats no contest duh!, also merry christmas and happy holidays to everyone.
Haha you too. :D Still, I want a Ryan vs Ryan battle to see who the best Ryan is.

There's no definitive list, but many arguements and debates over it. "Reverse settings" may give you the best search result.

Festive tuning time! I'm gonna tune up a christmas car right now, especially for everyone! Also, for the festive season my own christmas present is a GTP tag on PSN! Anyone interested in racing seriously with me or stuff like that should add GTP_Dragon

Ok, I'm up, though for how long, I don't know. Is Roj gonna be there? I need my teacher to teach me to drive! :dopey:

Tuning a Christmas car on Christmas day? Yeah you're one of us for sure.

Frig sake as if I don't have enough of you already, now I have to delete some poor sap to make room for another you.

No idea! I shall add him if he isn't asleep already :D

Asleep at 3:05am? Never.

Right now, thrashing a '64 Tempest GTO around Monza like a boss

Oh? I've been tuning one of those, all 700 and something hp going to the sports softs at the back, it's surprisingly stable. Until you go for it, that is. Does yours drive like a drunk lunatic like I imagine?
