RKM Motorsport - Tuned Tuners - May '13

Onboy123
Oh? I've been tuning one of those, all 700 and something hp going to the sports softs at the back, it's surprisingly stable. Until you go for it, that is. Does yours drive like a drunk lunatic like I imagine?

Mine is practically stock  I'm fiddling with a rather...Special car now :sly:

Oi, RJ, for the third time (Just in case you missed it the first and second time), if I'm trying to make the new Mustang (that one you tried to make not-a-pig to drive in the corners) drive in a not so drunk manner at full power on SS tyres, what should I do?

MERRY CHRISTMAS GTP! I was gonna make a rather Special tune for today, but I fell asleep next to my controller >_< today I am out, having some stupidly expensive lunch, and over-snacking myself into bloated oblivion

You know... I was trying to ignore you until you shut up but that's not going to happen.

Answer: You can't. Well, you can make it "less of" a pig, much like someone so drunk they can't stand is "less" drunk than the guy passed out next to him. If you're looking for a setup, I can't say I've got anything available at the second... Though I do think I may wind up turning a few things on their head once I finish my next few tunes.

Tuner Comments:
As the spiritual successor to the old “Black Beauty” 787B from GT4, this Stealth model has inherited the title and does the name justice. This Black Beauty tune turns the 787B into an easy to drive, race-winning machine. There may be faster settings out there, but none are this easy to drive whilst keeping the 787B’s speed higher than it’s opposition. After serving me well since the start of my GT5 career, I decided to send the settings to Kyaw after he requested some 787B settings. After finding out it works well for him too, it prompted the public release of this beauty.

22nd Feb 2011 - Transmission & ballast/power & TCS settings.
20th Oct 2011 - Spec II adjustments.

Good to see you keep up with the times by updating your tune.I just got all 6 stealth cars so im wondering if you have more for these black beast's.Thank's

Rotary Junkie made a tune for the NSX GT500 and it works for all NSX GT500 cars, especially the Stealth one. He didn't update it for Spec2 though.

It would be better if you won't quote the entire tune, just leave the important bits like the picture in the quote :)

But what you didn't mention was that, if you used a DS3 at least, it was a twitchy, murderous bastard that has a habit of taking corners backwards.

Merry Christmas everyone! :D

I have a tune for the R10 TDI that I've not updated, it may still work, it may not, I've not tested. As for the rest, my SLS AMG tune will work on the Stealth SLS, with the added bonus that the Stealth SLS has a tons of downforce. Same with my McLaren F1, the Stealth version will happily take the same settings with the added benefit of even more downforce. The Stealth NSX as mentioned by uMadson?, can take the settings from RJ's Takata NSX tune, but it's not updated yet, so it'll be a bit hit and miss there. And as for the Stealth GT-R, neither of us have a tune for it or any of the GT500 GT-R's because we just don't like GT-R's here. Except Dragonthing, but she's weird. :D

Corrected to give the pile of dog turd its proper name. :P

And MERRY CHRISTMAS TO EVERYONE HERE!!!!!! :D

You know, if I were you, I'd sue Nissan for killing the GT-R series instead of ranting countless times. :P That way, you'd make money instead of wasting time, provided you win the case.

I would, but I want to do the talking, not let some guy in a wig do the talking for me. :P

That would be the most hillarious court case ever if it went through.

Judge: Why do you wish to sue Nissan for manufacturing the GT-R?
Onboy: BECAUSE IT'S A PILE OF CRAP.
Judge: Fair enough. Onboy wins the case.

Hi there ,

just wanted to comment you guys on a job well done with the Golf VI R '10 , even tho i am not really a VW fan this was a fun car to drive , detuned it to 500pp and took it online and it was competitive , not so much on the faster tracks but the twisty tracks we're a blast .

very nice stable and easy car to drive , i can't say how it was stock seeing i instantly applied you're tune :D .

thanks for the tune

( i had a full review but erased it by accident and i am a lazy bastard so i won't retype it today so this short thank you will do for now :P )

Guys I'm having some issues with the 86GT '12 that not even your setup could fix.
In Nordschliefe there's a big suspension compression point, after a big downhill, there's a left hander with a uphill, about 1~2min racing, the car would just spin there, no matter what I tried.

Maybe it's something you guys wanna test, I was driving all aids off, abs=1, DFGT.

Are you experiencing this online, offline or both?

Ugh, Just looking at the fact that RKM has a 'GT-Apex' FT-86 II tune makes me want one. Anyway, I just wanted to wish everyone at RKM a Merry Christmas (A bit late I know but at least I got it up before the day was through) ~Turtle

Perhaps someone will dupe you one in the marketplace forum. I'm unfortunately an idiot and tuned my only one in excitement, when I should've duped it first. :grumpy:

Well, It's probably just an FT-86 or an 86 with an aggressive bodykit.

It's identical to the GT86 under the skin, only missing out on 5kg (because of having no carbon bonnet) and downforce because there's no wing.

Ah, well, that's good news, the GT86 is a very nice handling car. I'll probably find someone willing to give me one in the marketplace. Also knowing that there's already a Golf R tune makes me want the second pack of DLC even more. Hopefully I can get it tomorrow.

Umm…you can find the GT86 in the NCD. :)

And to the poor soul who requested a Dodge Viper ACR tuned by Roj, you do not want to know how many tyres he burned through last night when he was joyriding testing it.

I am still surprised the Enzo GT isn't repaired next. Your hampering a story I am making for my friends to read on facebook. xD

Probably because the Enzo is a pile of not-as-bad-as-R35 turd to drive so updating it would probably make no difference anyway. :P

Well we do have 150 Pokemon tunes, some will take priority over others. :P
I'll try that, tough was fun ruining some 450pp races with me leading and crashig in that spot :grumpy:

Online.

Ah there's your problem. My GT86 was tuned offline. It needs a very different setup online. Raise the rear ride height to -14 and stiffen the rear springs like RJ said. 👍

Hey, Roj, just another quick reminder for you to do my R390 as I'm starting to see a thin layer of dust on the car, it's shared right now.

By the way, can I ask for a favour from you? I have a good friend who is a college student, and the only time I get to race him is on his holidays, and as such, he doesn't have much time to grind for cash so he's got around…1 LFA in terms of worth. So could I get you to B-spec him like you did for me?

PS. Anyone getting constantly disconnected from PSN or is it just me?

Did PD fix the Enzo without telling anyone? The brakes are much better now, to the point where you can actually use them!

I know, sheesh. :P I only just finished the Viper request this morning.

Unfortunately I don't remote race as much anymore thanks to PD adding some B-Spec seasonals for easy grinding, but surely he can knock a few seasonal races out in between breaks?

PS. Anyone getting constantly disconnected from PSN or is it just me?

Just you. Perhaps your dad is downloading terrible movies and hogging all the bandwidth?
