RKM Motorsport - Tuned Tuners - May '13

You tuned a Zonda? Where?! And not to worry about the lack of reviews for the DLC cars…cuz guess who sorted out a deal with a good mate for the ue of a PSN card? :D I still don't have it obviously, but that's only because they got sold out…:ouch:

I never finished the rage-inducing piece of 🤬 couldn't physically make it turn without totally losing rear grip

Can I have the stats for the tune? I will gladly try to finish it for you. :dopey:

I think I defaulted the car just so see how bad that was, and never even bothered to try tuning again. It is terrible...even the Yellowbird was easy compared to this. Oops, spoilers!

RJ did actually, but I've tuned one that's fast as frig if RJ doesn't have time. :P

Can you PM me the setup? Most of my cars are only slightly tuned over stock. I'm just looking for a good suspension tune.

Edit: Just ran a 1:05.498 in the 86 GT at Tsukuba with the tune from this thread. Very stable tune, even when you cruise along at 60mph and weave the car back and forth, you can feel how good it's set up. I only had a slight issue with oversteer, but it's very controllable.

Car is tuned to 235hp, stock weight, sport hards.

Don't know if you guys are planning on doing a tune for the '12 GT-R, but the stock car handles fantastic already. Hopefully you can keep the same balance.

Do you see a road going R35 here? No? Oh. :P

Roj and I refuse to touch them, Sapphire might if you bribe her enough.

Ohh no it does not 'handle' fantastically. It 'grips' fantastically, but handling is as numb as *censored to prevent further typical Onboy ranting*.

And all 3 of the guys agree with this notion that the R35 is a dull piece of *censored swear words*, though the lunatic side of Dragonthing takes over sometimes and gets her to tune that thing to prove its presence.

Anyway, RJ has one he did, though it's for the Spec V, it's the best you could hope for unless either of the two gets hopelessly drunk and decides to tune it, or are held hostage unless a tune is made. <-- do this one. :dopey:

You'd be lucky...though if I had to, I'd get it done now before my new TV turns up :dopey: I don't think I could stand it being bigger and 3D...anyone got a bribe then? :D

Hmm, I took the '12 GT-R out for a spin tonight with Sport Soft tires, an ECU tune, sport cat converter and sport filter, and the thing was a beast.

Must only suit my driving style. Ran a 56 something at Tsukuba.

My top-secret-only-around-when-other-R35s-are '09 did 56s last time I drove it as well, also on sports softs, but with just a 30 second suspension tune and an ECU. Oh and the clutch/flywheel/carbon driveshaft. 499hp, 1680kg. Online.

Meanwhile, everything else does 57s at best at the same (535) PP level, save a well driven NSX or Evora. It's not that it's slow, it's that it drives like trash while being extremely fast. Which is why I only use it if there's another R35 around, as well as why I painted it pink. Not even a good pink, it's off the Mitsu Colt.

Edit: Actually, yeah. If you want an R35 suspension tune, ask uMadson if he's got it written down anywhere. I did one for him ages upon ages ago and just guessed at the numbers used on mine... Which works, it's just still not very good to drive. Or someone can send me $50 via PayPal and I'll do a proper tune.

Holy **** I sent the R35 away

Oh well, I took pictures of the settings.

Oh god...

You're telling me that there's a properly set up R35 somewhere out there and I don't know who has it?

I just hope they haven't detuned it to a level I'd want to race at...

I blindly traded it away

Anyway yeah I took pictures of the settings just in case. If only there's a good way to screencap PS3 stuff... :indiff:

Yup…that's Andre for you. Though 50 bucks for a tune for that pile of dog turd ?! I would rather pay you the same 50 for you to actually post the RX7 TC tune!

Well tath's the past, when all I did was derp around. :guilty:

New Year's resolution - don't trade away "special" cars.

Not sure how well mine world work then, since I gave my Scirocco 395bhp and chassis stiffening, so the suspension is matched to that spec. I'll PM you the suspension settings anyway, see how they work out for a slightly tuned Scirocco. No promises on how well they'll work though.

I think the only time anyone is going to see the name "GT-R Black Edition '12" in this garage is when PD give us a 2012 Prius for me to tune. :mischievous:

I drove ur GT 86 tune a minute ago on spa onlne, great little car, apart from it tries to kill me on Ou Rouge. I break to the right speed, turn in and the thing spins round and i smash into the barriers at the top and crush the back of my car at 70-80MPH. Should i go slower round that corner or is the suspension not set up for Ou Rouge?

I believe that's the proper spelling of that corner.
