Hopefully I have done this right.

If I have done this right, who would like to tune it?

Put 10kg Ballast to pos 47

Set top speed to 68 , final to 4.300 and the gear to 1.125

Hope that helps :)

I didn't think the karts were tunable...

Kinda. Playing with the balance and IIRC, with the brake balance controller would possibly go a long way.

I'll try this when I go on tomorrow, thank you!

sorry for not posting for a while, thinking of doing another review and hoping for some feedback/pointers regarding the 1m csl review, where i could do better etc, cheers

The only thing I'd suggest to change is to give a bit more detail as to what you liked and didn't like about the car in tuned form. Did it have under/oversteer? Was it excessive? At what track? Things like that.

ok, thanks RJ, I know you are all under alot of work atm, updating cars from spec I to spec II but i was wondering if that review would suffice for a tune?

Finally! These 3 are the last to come out of the archive for me.

Anything still in my archive I've either deemed to be useless, not worth my time or I just plain hate the car. So if there's something in there you want to see updated, you'll have to request one.

Might just be getting my SLS tune up, if I actually finished it last night...bit drunk though

What are you going to call it? Cuz I'm tuning a sort of racy SLS and I don't want the names to clash so people think that I'm aping your stuff…

And speaking of the SLS, I've recently gone on a spending spree with that thing…I've got 3 of them now…:boggled: One of which, is driving with the SLS AMG tune, so expect a small review soon, as it served as a benchmark for my own SLS GT.

Probably the SLS LM, since it has the same tuning principles, paint, aero and stuff as the SLR LM does :D also, if I can find some, expect classic cars soon!

Classic cars? YES! Those are some of the best kinds of cars for racing.

Can't wait to use it! :D:tup:

Can I ask for some advice? Two questions, the first is: Would you rather have some oversteer and braking rotation, or have a fast and responsive setup instead? And the second is simply would you prefer it with or without engine upgrades? I have a good 220bhp right now but I has way more potential

Personally, I am a man who would fully tune out a Fiat from '66, everything would be on it, as power is a huge corner stone in a car, so the power power, the better. Although, less power, lower PP and better chance of using it in more events. It is a hard choice. For the set-up, a good responsive set-up is virtually the best over all, but having a car with oversteer and break rotation is equally as important, it is like asking someone if they want to be a good character or an evil character in a game. Sure, good gets more people to like them and gets special privileges, but the evil side allow for complete domination as they force respect to be given. For a personal preference, I choose the good side, but I am very envious of how much the evil side gets. Maybe you could release both versions? It would be an interesting combo tune, like a "Dr.Jekyll and Mr.Hyde" team. Like Dr.Jekyll could be low power and good handling while Mr.Hyde is a lot of power and a little oversteer and break rotation. It is a hard choice between them, but for a personal choice of racing, more power and responsive handling for me. I hope I helped a lot! Keep up the great work :D:tup:

Edit: I am also going to announce I will be making a tuning garage of my own once I get a name that sounds good to me and it makes sense to racing. I just need a couple of tunes finished and I will be starting to release them.

I'm going to review 2 of my personal favourites from Dragonthing's list!!!
They are The Spoon S2000 Race Car and The Impreza RM.

Spoon S2000
What a brilliant little car! From being something I bought for a laugh it has has been converted to one the best handling cars I have drove! One thing that's wierd though is that when you shift up to the next gear it is already on the rev limiter... Now this car's strength lies in it's handling. Don't even bother trying to overtake on the straights it just won't work. However in the corners there is no stopping this car as it takes half of the field in the opening corner.

And when your oppendents(?) try to outbrake you... well it doesn't go too well

A solid car that is easy to drive. A 8/10 for me.

Impreza RM

The coolest car just got better! It looks amazing and drives amazing! Sound is slightly less amazing but it's cool. It hard to explain this car other than it's good.

Exhibit B:

The handling is superb, the speed is on par with most racecars and it is just a joy to drive.
A incredible car that deserves to be 10/10

SLS AMG-
This is a hard one to call, having tuned one myself, it's going to be very hard for me not to draw comparisons, but here goes anyway. This SLS is everything an AMG…isn't. In a very good way. It's very easy to drive, it's very much the cruiser you set out for it to be and yet it's still quick enough to keep up with my 700hp one (whoops :( Comparison drawn).

There's also none of the typical burn-the tyres-off-the-rims sliding you normally get with AMGs here. In fact, I was getting some worrying understeer in the first sections of Trial Mountain, though for the most part, it's a very safe and neutral car to drive. The only real sign of any tail happiness anywhere was in the banked turn at the end of the straight, where shortshifting was needed or the back would snap out. But even then, it can still be seen as heavy handed showboating rather than lairy and dangerous snap oversteer. The gears are very nice too, retains the stock top speed while providing the smooth yet rapid acceleration that the SLS is so very good at doing.

Overall, this tune does exactly what it sets out to do, turning this German supercar into something of a super cruiser. Fast, but smooth and almost unbelievably easy to handle for its size and power.

Slightly shorter (No, very much shorter) than the one I did for Dragonthing, but hey, I'm biased towards the girl, what can you do?

Very nice! Puts Ken Block to shame. :D

Yes, the SLS has a sense of refinement over the other AMG cars. It helps that it can handle its own power, even with 655bhp, it's still as easy to drive as a car with 355.

With that said, I should mention that the SLS Stealth I have cooking with 755bhp, is much easier to drive and much, much faster. :D

Because you lurve her. :dopey: Now its your turn, you goof! :mischievous:

Wait...755? I have an RH racing beast with 710 that shames any GT500 you throw at it, and I just need to send ya the pics for it before I post it!

The Stealth's max power without an oil change is 755bhp. Stealth's and Chrome Line's have power advantages over the regular versions. :P

And yeah I need to snap pictures of mine too, so I'll do both our banner sets at the same time. 👍

Nope. The SLS can have power set at the mad side of over 800hp. :P Though the complete and utter lack of front downforce means you become a plane over small jumps. :scared:

And nope.avi I do not lurve her. :P

Ah, I thought Dragonthing was quoting the max power of the SLS. :P I suppose the SLS Stealth is the exception then.

You heartbreaker, you. :P

I have an undriven 820bhp SLS, that proves it! And hush yo mouth Ongirl, you know you want me :embarrassed:

But I think the Stealth would be faster anyways, as the difference is 26hp, many of which would be offset by the lower weight of the Stealth and the front downforce…though I could be wrong.

:P sorry.

:P sorry.
Yeah, +26bhp vs 40/65 downforce. Clear winner is clear.
Um.... Serious question.... Doesn't EVERYONE here want Dragonthing anyway?

That awkward moment when no one backs you up and your crush on Dragonthing is made blindingly obvious. :P
