Just this morning, I finally found the Tommy Kaira ZZII waiting for me in my UCD. I had heard it was cheap but i was still surprised that it was only 59,xxx credits. I immediately took it out to the 'Ring for a test drive.
I almost immediately felt like i was driving something 3000 kg, not 1000 kg. I didn't even make a full lap before i quit to perform some serious changes. With everything installed and some much needed tuning, there was a clear difference. For one, you could turn well enough to the make Turn 1 at the Nordschleife going above 40mph, and on the back straight a healthy 222 mph was achieved. I still wasn't happy however. The Destroyer still felt a little too heavy.
I did a little experimenting with the aerodynamics and found 12-37 to suit my driving style better. A nice balance of downforce and control.
I went back to the 'Ring in the ZZII during the 650PP Seasonal Event thinking i would be able to crush the opposition. I was wrong, after a few tries i was only able to clinch 2nd with a 5.xxx sec gap (with the McLaren F1 in the field) and a lap time of 6:32.xxx. I love this car, but i think i'll stick with my Zonda R (or Zonda X as it is Dragonthing's tune) for 650PP races. 👍
