I have to agree that it is a good looking car. It just needs to have a better soul d sample on GT5 i.e. one that you can actually hear.

It has an amazing sample...just because most cars sound like you're thrashing the balls off it or they have loud racing exhausts :D the Aston is all about being a subtle and quiet 2 tonne 570bhp beast

A review of the RKM Aventador:

It's been awhile since I've posted in this forum and every once in a while RKM churns out extra versions of the same car, i.e. the multiple Integras, NSXs, and Lancer Evolutions. In the case of the RKM Aventador, this car is unique to itself - beastly, in fact.

Given a car with big power figures like this one, it's natural for drivers to explore the shove the RKM Aventador can dish out - it feels mighty when you have the throttle. Along with rampant power and gobs of torque throughout the rev range, forward thrust is guaranteed. You drive the RKM Aventador with the tach, not with the speedometer. The newest RKM bull has plenty of fear to unload on the driver.

The Aventador has a strong front end that can be loaded far harder than one might imagine but push it beyond recklessness and you'll have a hard time correcting a slip with steering input and the throttle. Overall, the car is grippy. Not bad at all for a 4wd RKM Lambo.

Despite the massive speed and thrust at you disposal, the RKM Aventador inspires confidence to push, to get it right up on its toes, to explore your limits and that of your own. It's an absorbing machine that sucks you in. After a run in it you'd want another go.

I can't help but compare this car with their SV tune. RKM did an awesome job with the SV but they raised the bar with the Aventador. Well done!

Guys, I'd like to say that it was fun posting in here, meeting everyone, and trying so many tunes. This thread got me to mingle with the tuning forums more and with GTP in general. Where am I going, you may ask? Back to fighting games. They call for me again, but I will be sure to review one last car before I take off.

Do not worry though, this isn't a permanent goodbye. Just a temporary one until I get the urges to run in GT5 again, which tends to happen quite often. This time, I'm going to make sure I keep my log-in bonuses for when I DO return in what will likely be a month or so. Until then, farewell! I may bug the RKM crew or select few other people now and again during this break anyways. :D

In other words, its a land yacht with an Aston Martin badge. :sly: Plus, my 400BHP G37 Coupe Concept would give it a hiding in a cruising room. :D

A review of the RKM Aventador:
The Aventador is just a fantastic car. It was fun to see just how far it could be pushed and even the limits were reached, it wouldn't kick you into a wall like an older Lamborghini does. The SV was the benchmark that the Aventador needed to beat and I'm happy that it managed it without losing its charm. Glad to hear you liked it! 👍

Yeah sometimes I take breaks from GT5 to crack skulls, shoot zombies or build houses. Good luck with your fighting! You're welcome back here any time. :D

Not when I'm drifting the 700bhp beast around Cote d'Azur on sports tyres :sly: it's now French Blue on white TE37s and comes only second for cruising to my '98 SL600

Except it will... This is the same car and tune I used to dominate the Spa drift trial and the American drift trial at La Sarthe a few months ago. :sly:

I won't point out my current top-1000 position and 3900-ish score gap on my friends list with 17029 point then ^..^

You can mention it all you want, but it won't matter because I didn't partake in the drift trials. :D

But you pay for insurance, why not use it? :dopey:
Because in the UK, your insurance gets cheaper every year if you don't make a claim. If someone hits you, you claim through their insurance so your insurance isn't affected. :)

I pay $28 a month on insurance for my car. :D

Although the excess the $1500 if I have to claim on it. :(

I always thought insurance was a fraud, don't get me wrong, it is very important to have, it's just that my wife has had a perfect driving record and no claims and we have to pay every year... I could have a new truck by now :grumpy:...:dopey:

No wonder it's $28 a month.

Yeah it always seems like a waste of money until you need it. You can be the best driver on the roads, but that doesn't mean Mr. Drunk or Mrs. Distracted won't crash into you. Besides, injury claims can compensate you very nicely. :D

Hello there, dear RKM. I have reviewed one of your great cars. To see which one, check here: https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=215557&page=20. Hope you like it! :)

Tuner Comments:
YassirNosir liked his R8 that we tuned for him, after we tuned his C63. So naturally he sent us a DB9 to tune after the R8. He wanted us to work our magic with this one too, so we did.

Want to win with class? Forget the Ferrari, take the Aston Martin. The DB9 is a very pretty car, even with a lip kit and a big wing, it’s still pretty, just look at the DBR9. We decided the DB9 should keep it’s high class style of driving, so there’s no oversteering antics here, just insane amounts of grip with mild understeer to keep things stable and with 643bhp, overtaking is effortless.

Copied this yesterday and blew me away thought it was absolutely fantastic! Using the G27 which replicates life so well made the experience even better. It is very responsive when you tap the throttle and braking is superb. This car sticks to the floor like super glue very fast through corners and tested the car on the nurburbring -( cant spell it ) and it flew through the track. Personally I think it's a great car and anyone thinking of copying it its a great one to copy! Also on a positive side it looks amazing!

Thanks to rkm for making this it's wonderful keep the work up!

Thank you! Always good to hear that our tunes work on wheels. When you tune with a controller, there's always that chance that the car won't work as well for a wheel user, so that's great. :D:tup:

Hey there RKM,

Thank you very much for these tunes as they have saved my bacon numerous times.

I am currently tuning my Eunos Roadster to your MX5-SC specifications.

Regards,

Red.

Thanks for the E-cookie, that's the second one this month!:dopey: The other one came after I sucessfully used Vegeta to describe MFT's Mitsu FTO Ralliart. I should get a trophy for this... Hell, even a achievement like you find on other PS3 games!

Hello I am new and I would like to give one of your cars a shot. It is the Mazdaspeed RX-8 spec 3 I was setting mine up and there were two minor change and one major. The major was a stage one turbo set instead of the supercharger I flipped my lid I just love the revs, I for one should have known az Mazda tried to go civilized. The minor changes were the all carbon black hood and the rims that I love are the prodrive gc-010gs. Also I painted the rims a medium grey. But I would really like to trade a tune, I have one request and that would be to turn the abs off and through it in the alps?

So I finally ran it!

Here are my analysis, front end is great however as my driving style goes I would say the rear end is a little tight. As in a little toe tight. Maybe if u swung it out a bit it would help. The camber is just fine on the rear. High revving engine, check! Lightweight, check! Set, go! Swiss alps is where I drove this with abs off and with sensitivity on seven on my controller. Probally should have used the HKS instead of the DS3. If u still would like to do a offline tune just let me know. I think I would want the focus st or the civic type -R 2008 rally style. Thanks alot! Jkinealy.

You're welcome. :) The MX-5 SC got me through the MX-5 races and the two endurance races. It's a dependable little car. :D

Did it have a power level of over 9000?

The RX-8 Spec 3 is an age old tune that needs a good updating so it's good to hear it still works good. It's RJ's car though so I can't comment much about how it drives.

Civic Type Rally? Okay. :D

I do plan on trying more of your tunes, of the top of my head I seen three NSX's that I just might try when I get the funds.

There's an easy way to get funds a spec online challenge number 4 with one of the Nissan gtr xavani model in NCD. If you want more info send me a message e.g setup, what cars on the grid to win!
