Sweet!!! I've been watching this thread to see when the race days/times would be an Wednesdays at 11:30 works perfectly.

I know they're sprints but how long are we expecting that the events will be?

Put me down for blue as I'm dying to race the IS F, but I'll do red if necessary. I don't know if I need to join a team or create one. If I'm creating one, Team Voodoo Racing.

I'm sure rst220 or optimusbiffus, 1 of the two won't mind jumping over to red once we're all sorted,

how are the times looking?

The BHP limits for each class will be posted & updated on the car list tomorrow, there are no weight restrictions and you can fully customize your car however you may wish, but it must fit the BHP limit,

so before everyone sets off for qualifying, lower class cars will enter the track first, then I will change the BHP limit for the next class to enter & so on, to not allow anyone to cheat...
there will likely be a mixture of cars from different classes on the track, choose your cars wisely for the tracks 👍

I am partnering up with someone to run this championship with me so I would like to introduce mrbrendon999 who will also be taking responsibility for running the races in my lounge if I'm away and he may also answer any of your questions if he can.

That's a good idea, tomorrow me & brendon will be doing Nascar, so we can't do this on Sunday but we can do a test session tonight at the time that we all agreed on for wednesdays (I may not be able to join). It's up to Brendon and everyone who is able to make it at that time tonight or we can do this on Monday or Tuesday,

If anyone is interested in a test sesson before the championship takes off, please state which 1 of these days is possible for you, thanx

-A time trial/qualifying for 10mins
-then race 1 on Fuji Speedway GT,
-then race 2 reverse grid based on Race 1 results
-& then race 3 based on race 2 results.

Using a track that will be used in the championship won't be right to use in a test event

Basically its whoever shows up will test the track. This will get everyone's opinion on the track that's going to be racing in the series. This will also allow people to try a few different tyre combos to see what handles best & even get a good setup for the track.

There are 8 tracks that will be used, to do testing on them and set up your car's for them, it's more ideal to do that whenever, you are welcome to do that in my lounge, but the test event will be an opportunity for people to race with each other where scores won't count,

I race at btcc, there is a test session before every season where we use a track that won't be in the season so it doesn't ruin the results, and before every race event we just meet up at any random time when we're free to race each other, test cars and tune them etc and practice before the actual race night,
So tonight I had a test session in mind on Fuji gt, but if you all want to just do a few practice runs, set up cars etc on deep forest then it's perfectly Ok,

No tyre combo, I'm allowing everyone to use racing softs so using anything else would be a disadvantage

Like I said we can do a race night that won't count towards points on Fuji gt

Or we can do setting up cars and practice on deep forest which is the track that we will use on Wednesday,

I'm thinking of doing a preseason event today on Fuji, (2 races) and after that we can practice and tune our cars on deep forest ready for Wednesday so our 1st race will be on Wednesday at deep forest
