If you haved raced me more you will know that when i'm behind i tend to push to hard and usaly end up in the sand.there's no problem staying on the track when the guy your racing is slower than you.when i race energyia in the 360 gt we are very evenly matched, and the win usaly goes to the one that can push the hardest without making mistakes.usaly we both makes mistakes but it is almost always because we tend to push to hard and overshoot a brakingpoint.

btw are we racing with manual gears and all aids off.then i have to pratice with the wheel again, because i have been using the pad lately.

hi jason
will you be online to play at the usual time so i can have some pratice.i've got my mic to work so we can do standing starts.:)

What is your usual time, i will probably be online in 2 or 3 hours time. i can change to suit you.

Thanks. It's just a matter of time before SEGEL will beat that time :).

@Biggles/GTP_SimcoeAce - I've sent you PSN friend request with a few questions about our race.

I am your friend, that's why I introduced you to another old friend ... so we can all be friends :D

(now, where did I keep the names of all the other TRD3 "Aces" I used to know? I think I have to introduce them all to Biggles ... )

Anyway, Piotr is, besides a great racer, a great guy (when I arrived as a complete noob to online play - in TRD3 - he was very nice and helpful to me), so you guys will have fun racing I'm sure 👍

Does anyone want to race me NOW

@Biggles, to answer your PSN message, i found your opponent time in records for MUGELO in 348 challenge.

hi jason
great racing you (again).that was a pretty impressive line up.those where some fast guys.i'm glad it's not me that got pairred with zedux.damn he is fast:nervous:

Sorry for the moment of idiocy from me, Energiya, I went off and stupidly thought I could get on track before you caught up, then I saw you coming, and swerved into the same path as you!
It was a laugh anyway.

I'm sure jjaisli will be happy to know I've finally broken into the 2'03s and I seem to be able to run low 2'04s consistently now. :P
And as for my team name, Hun, I think its nice as it is, nice and simple - like the livery.

Thanks Henrik, pitty we are not racing on INFINEON with 348, it's his week track. I got surprised yesterday after racing, just look at the lap records at INFINEON in 348 challenge.

------------------------------

Mario, is it allright with you if i post current lap time records for the FC RACE OF CHAMPIONS line-up list

Yep. I suggested "BrawnFC" to be more similar to "BrawnGP", but hey, I grew up with Tyrrells, Brabhams, etc, so I guess just the name is good. However I'm glad that I never saw "Chapmans" or "Murrays" racing !

Well, I think we did maybe 5 races, and I must say that the improvement in your pace was noticeable. and the best laps were always getting better, from the 2:05,00 in the first race to the 2:03's in the last ones. I don't know when you have the race with jjaisli, but if you keep like this, I think it would be wise from jj to race you ASAP :D

As for me, I managed to improve from high to low 2:03's, and even visited the 2:02 (2:02,95 in the fourth and 2:02,99 in the fifth/last race we did). However, I simply don't know how to follow and overtake other cars, I spent two full laps behind holy sword making mistake after mistake and completely unable to get a decent overtaking move.

Zedux, sorry to leave when you arrived, but I really had to go. I see you entered the 2:01 also, that's very impressive! Well done! 👍

EDIT: Jason, there's no problem whatsoever, the leaderboards are public! So, if you want to do that, go ahead! :)

No worries, thought i may have caused you problems in same races.

no prob we race next time! I managed to do a 2:00.61 in time trial but my lap time wasn't uploaded I felt really disappointed with that. From now on no more time trial for me I'll do all my laps in quick race as it's quite reliable when it comes to uploading lap times!

p.s just did 2:00.92 in quick race but i find it harder than time trial!!!

OK Piotr, as you're a Newbie to these forums, I've decided to go easy on you in this race. :)

But if you try any of that 2.01 stuff then it will be "no more Mr. Nice Guy"

(:nervous:)

Guys, I changed the "standing start" rule to 30 seconds, following a suggestion from Energiya and my own findings. In fact, I get always the two players on the grid in less than 25 seconds, so it's a pain to wait the 40 second mark.

As you know, if both racers agree, they can skip the "standing start rule" or agree on a different race start time, so this rule will apply only if no agreement is reached.

2:03s, 2:02s, 2:01s, 2:00s, :odd: I think you guys are rubbing off on each other... Very impressive. I'm in serious trouble. I haven't even had any time to practice and stupid me, I spent what free time I had last weekend playing GT5P...

Go easy on me Ardius :)

I'll try, lol, I made many mistakes last night (probably due to tiredness more than anything) and only managed those consistent times when I wasn't battling anyone.
