The points system is modelled on the Speed World Challenge Touring Car and GT series in real racing. It's the way the series is run.

This was up for discussion - and was discussed, and approved by consensus - several months ago. I asked for input on the subject not once but twice. I also don't recall you saying anything about it after you did become involved, well before the final rules were published, during August.

So it's a little late to start getting soggy and hard to light now.

It never occured to me after there being 5 other board challenges before this one that there would be problems with submitting times within the deadline so I did not imagine a team ending up with zero points till it happened and then I realised zero is actually minus 12 which seems an unfair penalty in my book. There again it wouldn't be in The Speed World Challenge as theres usually I imagine far more than 14 cars partaking.

Putain, 4 pages in juste a few hours.

I must say, congrats to podiums, those time are to close.

It's fun to see the result getting down.

Good luck to all of you for the rest of BC

Mercy, what a close race!

Congrats to the Hot Lap Luminaries...I wouldn't expect less from you guys.

Glad to see all the submission issues for this round are sorted. 👍

At first glance, seeing GTX in DFL is a bit disheartening, but given the competition and tha fact less than 1 second separates 1st from last is nothing to be ashamed of...for this round ;)

Superb Racing, Gentlemen!

On to Round 2!

Congrats to the podium guys, and also to Mr P 👍

Well done to all who got a time 👍

I'm gonna submit my race a good day to half day early

someone who shall remain cloaked posted -

everyone get out your magnifying glasses and your slow-mo vid and your measuring sticks.

Looks like a recepie for a soft porn flick :sly:

Seriously guys, hearty congrats to all drivers for this round and in particular the podium flyers - Edmar , Wickerman , and Chris . Top job boys 👍 .

Looking at the results i think all drivers have done some very good times and those sub 1'05's are very quick indeed. Hope you enjoyed our teams race choice. Go the rotaries!

Great job to all the other racers 👍

Hi guys.
I just wanna congrat all the players and specially Edmar ;)
It was a really competetive round!

I knew the 1'04.7xx was possible but a confused comprehension of the deadline made us (GT4Portugal) send the time earlier than I was expecting so...it stand like that.

Good luck everyone to Round 2!

Here's the replay [PAL]

PROBLEM SOLVED - for reasons unknown, GTIRN was filtered by my spam filter.

I had something similar happen last year. Out of some 160 mails I got for last year's BC, only one (and one of the last ones) was filtered out by the spam-filter. Weird stuff.

People:

Since most teams seem to be doing it anyway, please attach your Round 1 replays to posts in this thread. I'll make an ammendment to the Rules.

You are still welcome to post them to the GTRT if you wish for archiving purposes.

Team Managers:

I've posted the verification assignments in the Administration board. Please go there to check for your Round 1 assignment. Thanks.
