Race deadline: January 31st.

Car: Polyphony001 (PAL) or F094/s (NTSC) (Simulation Car)
Track: Cote d'Azur
Modification: no restrictions NO HYBRIDS
Mode: Arcade Mode / Professional / 10 laps Tyer Damage = ON


This is the setup i used for the Poly 001@Monaco:

Springs: 12.5/10.7
Ride: 47/53
Damper bound & rebound 10/10
Camber: 1.6/1.3
Toe: -3/3
Brakes: 12/12
LSD: 15/30/30
D.F: 1.00/1.50
Asm/Tcs: 0/3

Gearbox:

Gearbox setup:
First move the final all the way to the right
move the Auto all the way to the left then move the final back and play with (individual gears as well) as to your tastes

Mate, you hit the nail right on the head with that one. I did volunteer for this race and Lotus had no problem with obliging me. Before I could even refresh the page she had switched me into that race! :lol:

finished TORC8 today so all my concentration will now be going into making TEAM GTP the fastest:cool:

Hey mate, right now I'm doing some free runs. Do I recall correctly that you mentioned that you're running 1'09's in this race?
If so, *WOW*
I'm sitting in the 1'12.1's right now, I know there's time to be had here, it's just going to take me a while I beleive. But hey, we got some time though! ;)

Had some pretty savage traffic on laps 4 & 5
pitted on lap 6 because had passed the 2nd placed R390 at the end of lap 5 (wanted to put some distance between the 2 cars so i wouldnt come out behind it)

Made some setup changes:
Toe was -3/3 now .5/1
Brakes where 12/12 now 18/14

these changes seemed to work pretty well as in the next race i attempted ran straight into the 12's

The 1:09 was set in free run so no tyre wear

Ok Clint, I'm going to have a good go at this one tonight, you have any pointers for me? They would be greatly appreciated.
My biggest issue so far is guaging how far the wheels stick out from the car. I have many a slight wall touch. And then, another thing that throws me for a loop is when I think that I'm not going to make a turn, I find that flooring it will actually get the car to steer more. This goes against every thing that I know!
 
just watch your braking for the hairpin and the 2 right handers after, even with the TCS on it can get tail happy through here
first right hander im in 3rd gear next one back into second
second gear for the chicane at the bottom of the hill (just dont brake to late!!!!) and "blipping" the throttle as the rears can lock up if your not carefu and put you into the outside wall just make sure that you have finished your downshifting & braking before hand or this is what will happen

Ok, this one is growing on me!!!

My first race attempt yielded me a 12'31.898.

Pitted on lap #5. Encountered some traffic around lap 4. Had a mishap on lap 8 with the Camaro. I was moving to the inside of him and going for the pass when he dedided that it was going to be a good time for him to pit. He swerved from the sever left of the track and cut all the way over to the pit entrance on the right. That bastard. I smashed right into him.
 
So far I've widdled it down to 12'26.111

Lap 1: 1'15.600
Lap 2: 1'13.615
Lap 3: 1'11.646
Lap 4: 1'12.182 (3 cars of traffic.)
Lap 5: 1'27.512 (2 cars of traffic. Pitted this lap.)
Lap 6: 1'12.612 (1 car of traffic.)
Lap 7: 1'12.625 (screwed up the chicane at end of hill. Came to a complete stop.)
Lap 8: 1'13.280 (3 cars of traffic.)
Lap 9: 1'14.209 (2 cars of traffic. Minor wall touch.:irked: )
Lap 10: 1'12.830

Total: 12'26.111

My fastest race lap to date is a 1'11.134. Free run: 1'11.013

Made some settings changes that yielded me some better times. I was running consistent 1'11's in race mode with the occasional 1'10. But I couldn't seem to put it all together for a complete race. Started having some major issues with the AI as I was now catching up to them at some of the worst parts of the track.

Bound: 9/7
Rebound: 10/7
Camber: 1.9/1.6
Toe: 0/-1.0
Final: 5.499
Auto: 31

Best free run lap: 1'10.485
Best 1st lap in race: 1'14.0

:eek: And that's 3rd place? What's "A/C" mean? Air conditioning? WOW, a F1 equipped with Air and still running a 1'08! :eek:
