Start with the stock gear settings ...

Move final all way up to max, then auto all way down to min, then bring final back down to the number stated if your going by someones set up , you can then if you want tweak the individual gears but don't usually need to from there

And can you then adjust the autosetting for other tracks, or do you re-perform this trick with a different FD?

I'm not so sure about that one myself, I think it is something like giving you good acceleration keeping the ratio's close whilst keeping the power through each gear ( I have no idea what I'm talking about though ) but what I have learned is to move the final ratio for the different tracks long straights obviously you need wider gears so bringing the final down makes your gears a bit wider while the shorter more twisty tracks you can move it up and shorten them even more , maybe even adjust the individual gears like 5th and 6th also , I just mess around till I get what seems right for me maybe someone else can explain to me just what it does? I just made that up

Boom have you read the race 7 review thread in the captains home at all ? there's just no getting through to some people

That slight wall rub on lap 4 ... do you know if it lost you more than 10mph? if it did then you'll get a DA like most of the rest of the field are likely to get

Bollocks your run has failed the review, with 6 touches 2 of which losing you 20kmh the rule was maximum 5 wall touches none of which should be over 16kmh ( 10mph) thought it best to let you know .

I should be OK with my review. The wall touches were extremely minor. I tend to make things more difficult on myself than they really need be when it comes to running a clean race. The contact with the AI is minor and shouldn't be an issue either.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed though. :fingerscrossed:

Yeah he's calm, and kept pretty calm during the whole thing despite being flamed

Max was DA'd for being 1mph over the legal impact limit so... well the PAL replays all had to be video'ed then we ( me and Ron) watched 6 races including yours and had to DA 4 of them for the same thing! bloody stupid if you ask me coz all,including yours were damn fine races and contacts were'nt that bad, nice races It was quite an eye opener for them when all the DA's came flooding in I tell you More of a statement than anything but they didn't back down on slackening the rules no matter what!

Anyway all's done now and we aint watching any more replays they can do their own dirty work from now on
