Well, the story is the radio was dead - the whisper is 'handy way to enforce team orders without anyone knowing'. Personally, I favour incompetence over conspiracy.

With regard to the safety car, back in 1980 a broken down car was left on the track at Long Beach, and Clay Regazzoni was crippled when he hit it after brake failure. As a result, F1 does not leave broken down cars on the track, and if the marshalls are exposed when removing cars, the safety car will brought out - remember, a marshall was killed at Monza in 2000, and another at Melbourne in 2001, so F1's pretty touchy about that stuff at the moment.

Interesting that, :ferrari: a dead radio? mmm sounds suspicious, F1 Radios don't just break....

Well, the number 2 driver doesn't always get the best gear - he must have got one that Michael had already broken.
